July 24, 2014: I have to say the last couple of days Mann Eye really tried to work with me and my feedback. Dr. Mann even called personally as well as Tanya at the Humble Office was fabulous throughout the process so thank you both. As such I will change my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Thanks! July 21, 2014: I had lasik done December 2012 at which time the service was good. After the 1st year I made regular appointment service was a disappointment. Just recently I called to get a sty removed and they told me to come in at 330 p.m. on Monday the 21st of July. The operator who made my appointment said nothing about consultation but more about that should be no problem. Then I received a subsequent call to tell me I have to reschedule which was impossible as I had already taken the time off. I waited 28 minutes and 47 seconds on hold without the operator getting back to me regarding whether I can still attend my scheduled appointment. After I dropped off the call, I called back 1 hour later and again waited 15 minutes because the Humble operator wasn’t answering. They agreed to see me. What a disappointment after 1 hour waiting with husband in tow to drive me — I was told by the doctor we won’t remove it… etc. I asked why the technician who brought me in said is anyone here to drive you — which I thought meant I’d get it removed. Long story short, I wasn’t impressed with the doctor — first time I saw her… horrible customer service. They need to train their staff and make staggering appointments. It’s like an airline, overbook a flight and have them get bumped off. In this case, overbook the time slot and have them wait. I would not recommend them for regular service. To date, I haven’t received a call from the Office Manager as advised by Dr. Melton. Disappointing.

What a disappointing experience. The assistant who brought me in to the first room was really friendly and great. But the next hour plus I spent in the second waiting area while I waited to actually be seen by the dr was unbearable. The Spring clinic is much newer, cleaner and faster … Unfortunately I had to come here to see the surgeon. I may have to reconsider sticking with them long term. My appointment was at 2pm. 90+ minutes later and I’m still waiting and on the verge of leaving to make another appointment I have in the woodlands this evening. I expect doctors to be on time to see me, or at least see me within a reasonable amount of time. Can I charge you for the time I spent sitting here waiting? My time is just as valuable as yours doctors. Jumping off my soap box now.
