Enough, I am done with this ‘salon’.
Below is my final straw with this place.
Philip called, informing me about a Special they were running. That’s great! So, I set an appointment for the works.
Trang, once again, assured me that she knew what she was doing because she worked at Visible Changes for 15+ years. That she would be able to correct the awful orangey brown mess from my 1^st visit with her. Once again, I tried (and tried) to tell Trang that my hair needs a higher level of developer just to add color. Even higher to lift color (because I had work for V.C. also).
«I know, I know. No problem. You’ll
love it. Will be beautiful!»
Isn’t that exactly what she said before?
2−½ hours later, Philip is applying a toner to my hair, while Trang states,
«Don’t give her the mirror until you
rinsed out the toner!»
Next, hair cut and blow-​out. Trang does know to cut & style hair, I’ll give her that.
Everything looked good. Price for root touch up, half foil highlights, toner, cut & style = $ 165 before tip. I thanked both Philip & Trang. Maybe this will work out.
Two days later, everything went down the drain when I washed my hair. Look who’s back! Brassy yellow streaks atop a messy bed of carrot color bleck! I paid a total of$ 425 in less than 3 months.
Conclusion to the story. I found an amazing stylist /​artist, in Kingwood. Her prices are also amazing. She listened, actually listened, to me about my coloring issues, the type of cut I wanted, even my ideas! I don’t know if I’m allowed to put her info in this review… Oh, I know, I’ll do a review on my new stylist. Perfect!

Bought a groupon for this salon two days ago. Called today and was told abruptly they don’t use groupons anymore. He then just hung up on me! How rude and unprofessional. Jerk.
