If I had been helping a two years ago, I would have had about a hundred check-ins to Whatataco. At that point they were located right outside of Lone Star College — North Harris, and conveniently open before and after I had class. I’m pretty sure I have eaten everything on their menu. The tortas are amazing, the bread they use is perfect and they do not skimp you on any ingredients, stuffing it full of meat, cheese, veggies and avocado. The tostadas are great if you plan on staying to eat, piled high and definitely a bit messy to eat, especially if you love using a lot of their delicious green sauce. The burritos were my favorite, they came loaded and you could feel the significant weight of it in your hand when you received it, I would usually eat half then and half at another point during the day, as they are pretty big. I know there’s a lot of trucks like this around this part of town, but definitely give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Sometimes the best food and the freshest ingredients come from the most unlikely of places. They have a great assortment of meats, salsas, and foods alike to choose from for both mild and more eclectic tastebuds. The tacos are delicious, the burritos are delicious, the quesadillas are delicious, everything is delicious. On top of that the people working there are some of the nicest you’ll meet. When my wife and I first tried Whatataco we were simply looking for a quick one time meal, and what we got was so much more. We now frequent Whatataco more often than I’d care to mention, as in upwards of 3 times a day and second dinner. But when the food is this good and just as affordable, its hard not to.

My husband and I found this little gem a few days before Christmas. We have induldged several times since. The food is delicious and so fresh. Much better than all the competing trucks in the area. We will keep going back.
