Awesome ice cream. A bunch of soft serve flavors. Pistachio was best I’ve ever had. Plenty of tables inside and out. Nice swing set outside. Nicest lady ever served us and made our experience extra special.

Cool little ice cream shop! Tons of flavors and lots of fun sundae options. Reasonably priced too!

Nice range of ice creams, and, especially if you like soft serve for which they have every possible option imaginable. They don’t make their own and their flavor range is extensive but not exotic. My husband loves their Dusty Road sundaes. I wish they would come up with a really great bittersweet chocolate, and maybe a straight-up peanut butter ice cream. There’s seating both inside and out, and plenty of parking.

I went there tonight with my husband and daughter, as an end of summer ice cream treat. We wanted to get back home & when we saw the drive thru we were thrilled. We drove back around to the drive thru, figured out what we wanted, and ran the buzzer. We sat there waiting for a good 5 – 10 minutes after we were asked to hold on. We drove off with no ice cream. Get rid of your drive thru!!! We went up the road to Turkey Hill. I bought 2 gallons of ice cream, whipped cream, cherries, and cones for less than what I would have cost me at King Kone. Never again.

The ice cream is great; however, the service is slow and not welcoming. The wait was long, despite limited visitors and when I did get to place an order the employee was as cold as the ice cream:(

It’s not often I get icecream, since I am lactose intolerant. But occasionally I will buy lactaid and have some icecream, and I dont mind paying a bit extra since I hardly go there. My favorite flavor is superman, I think its just vanilla but its cool because its all different colors. It is very clean inside, which is nice. THe toppings selection is not too big, and when I asked if they had jellybeans they seemed to think I was joking. I am not joking, and Its seriously really annoying that I get made fun of for this! How are jellybeans not a popular topping in america? Anyway, I would probably recommend this to my friends, however the owner seems to deal with things in shady ways — asking me if I wanted to invest in some of his business plans by waiting by my car after I ate is kind of strange, I felt threatened but he turned out to be a pretty nice guy. I will probably try a new flavor next time :)

We were traveling from out of town, we stopped here after hearing about the ice cream from some locals. We went in and got our ice cream, part of our group decided they wanted ice cream and we ended up going through the drive through. We waited for 25 minutes and kept getting asked to wait. We finally drove up to the window and after another 10 minutes of being completely ignored at the window we actually knocked on the window and were told that we would have to wait until they no longer had a line before they could help drive thru customers. After 35 minutes of waiting I am positive that most of the people inside in the line had gotten there after us. Especially since several of the people inside had talked to us on their way in and again on the way out. Ice cream may be good, but the service SUCKS. Do NOT go through the drive thru!

Very good flavor selection of Hershey and Turkey Hill ice cream. Fun variety of cones and cups in both regular and waffle variety, that are dipped in a variety of flavors. The setup is very nice as well with a variety of stuffed animals to dazzle and delight the kids. They even have a walk-up window and a drive through window. However, they are severely understaffed. I went a couple of times, and both times the joint was very crowded. The first time they only had 2 people working, and one of them stopped tending to the long line inside the store to tend to a person who pulled up to the drive-through window. If you have a drive-up and you have a huge crowd, you can do one of two things. Get a person to handle the drive-up window, or close the window so the people already present can be tended to. How can the driver immediately cut a huge line? It’s a poor system. On my 2nd visit, there was one poor older man working the entire store by himself. I felt bad to have placed a large order, but in my defense, it was for 7 people. The line behind me was just about out the door when I got through. Luckily, he was joined by another worker, but not until after he was already through with us, and the families behind us were at the end of their rope as far as patience. But hey, the hard ice cream was fun, creative and delicious. Personal favorites included the Moon Pie, the chocolate chip cookie dough, moose tracks and vanilla caramel peanut butter. They have 24 varieties of soft serve, but we didn’t get to try those this time around. So, the ice cream is 4 stars, but the service is about 2.5. You can round that service up to 3 for the abundance of friendliness, but not for the speed.

OK, they have Hershey Ice Cream now and so do so many other places. Nothing special except the service is very, very friendly. A fun place and worth venturing away from the park for it.

In town for Farm Aid 2012… stopped here on the way back to the hotel… great choices… saw the soft serve but wanted the Hershey’s brand hard ice cream. Got a HUGE sundae with a TON of hot fudge for 6 bucks… amazing place…

3+ stars, and a personal fave. Very fun, kid-friendly, sparklingly clean ice cream parlor serving Hershey Bros. Dairy ice cream(not to be confused with the chocolate company) and flavored soft-serve. Very good, pleasant service. Just a few minutes from Hersheypark and the Giant Center, on route to I-81, it makes the perfect end to a great day of Hershey entertainment. The menu includes store-made waffle cones and creative ice cream dishes. They’ll even prepare special treats for your canine family members.

A cute local ice cream shop in Hershey country. I preferred eating the ice cream here than at Hershey amusement park. For one thing, a down to earth feel, no crazy long lines like the amusement park and cheaper too! The place has character with their safari animals — particularly with gorillas. There’s 2 servers and the line can get long but they manage to get through with calmness. One server services the drive-up window and the other server for inside. I stared at their immense menu of flavors. 30 flavors of soft serve ice cream. Wow! I had root beer… subtle flavor but probably would have like the classic root beer float. My husband had rum and it had a strong taste exuding the flavor egg nog than the Jamaican rum I’m imagining. So, if you’re in a mood of egg nog, this would be the flavor to choose. They also have classic hard ice cream flavors by Hershey’s which all look appealing but my stomache can only hold so much. My daughter had the minty mint chocolate flakes and it has the perfect balance of mintiness and chocolate(where some places throw in some chocolate bricks). Their chocolate is sprinkled throughout. MMMM!

Sam M is right on target with his review. Pretty decent ice cream, its a great addition to the Hershey area. We’ve been lacking a good ice cream shop for a long time now. Well known for its Gorilla Split(a gigantic bowl of ice cream — if you eat the whole thing they take your table’s picture and put it on the wall) The whole place is decorated with stuff monkeys, gorillas and other wild animals. Prices are fair, and it has ample parking.
