Clean Juice

Finally a juice shop in Lake Norman! I tried my first one day juice cleanse & the juices were all very good and fresh. I hear the acai bowls are a huge favorite among customers, however, I always seem to get distracted by the newest juice or smoothie options. When it warms up a bit, I’ll take the plunge and review the bowls.
Every juice or smoothie I’ve ever had, has been freshly made and is always fantastic. The variety here provides options for everyone. Price is a bit high, but when you consider cost of the fruits and veggies and the blender :)…I’d rather pay them for my juice than to do it myself. Love this place. Great juice and smoothies. Super friendly service. You will not be disappointed. I recommend the Intense One smoothie add pineapple… love in a cup.

Smells great when you walk in the front door. Enjoyed my «Cider One” — Apple, Pear, carrot and cinnamon combined in a glass– yummy. Also got an ACAI Berry Bowl. Fresh strawberries, banana, almond milk, goji berries, granola and a mixture of puréed ACAI/​berries for the base. And I am off to face the day!

Great experience! I love smoothies and probably get 2 – 3 smoothies a week from a variety of different places. These are the best! They are healthy and taste amazing. The staff was also wonderful and very helpful. They answered all of my questions and gave me recommendations, as well. I also had multiple questions about juicing and the girl helping me took her time to explain how they are all made and which juice she would recommend since I had never juiced before. I did end up grabbing 3 of the pre-​made juices from the fridge and when I asked her if they would be okay until I got home (I had to run errands and I knew I wouldn’t be home for a couple of hours), she went above and beyond and asked if I would like some ice and even made a little cooler out of the drink holder. Above and beyond service and quality! Definitely worth check out!

Clean Juice has a very friendly staff, however I do not recommend you to go in if you are in a hurry; with three members working it took 15 mins to complete my order, no line of customers. Be sure to have at least $ 10 on you per menu item, because this place is PRICY. I paid close to $ 30 for three items. Very fresh ingredients and nice setup though.

First off, Great smoothies and love how they have whey or hemp protein to choose from. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. These are the two stars. 3 stars off because of the TERRIBLY slow service the past 3 times I’ve been here. Unless there is only you and one other person in this place, it will take 20 to 25mins to get your smoothie! For this, I will not be back and I hate that! I really want to love this place but I’m sorry, I don’t have 20−25mins to wait for a smoothie.

First time trying juicing and my experience was pretty cool. Not going to lie the taste can get you but if is healthy and it does what it says that I can look past the test! Def will tell others. Just wish there was one closer to Charlotte.

Great concept, great idea, great décor/​atmosphere, VERY poor execution. It took them 20 minutes just to tell me that they didn’t have the ingredients for BOTH of the smoothies I ordered. It then took me 10 more minutes to actually get them. Yes, that is a total of 30 minutes for two smoothies!!! They were busy but not that busy. The workers were definitely moving but that didn’t make any difference. They need triple the workers to make that place flow smoothly. So now we are on to the smoothie review portion… Not good!!! When I got the smoothie, it was basically juice. And yes I ordered The intense one smoothie, not a juice. I know it wasn’t sitting around long so it was simply not made correctly. They were probably so stressed about the next order that they failed to make mine properly and left it warm and watery. I drank it anyways as I had a lot of time invested in the dang thing but it wasn’t even close to worth $ 10. I would have been better off crawling to smoothie king and I still would have gotten a better smoothie faster. Again, this place has a great concept but they are running off customers before they even get a chance to get started. I saw a lot of frustrated faces in there. Maybe give them some time to sort it all out, then give it a try. Hopefully things improve. Make them right, make them faster, and actually have the ingredients that you are trying to sell!

I’m loving this place. Everything about it is truly awesome. I just found it yesterday and I can’t stop talking to people about it. In fact I’m writing this while sitting inside using free WiFi and drinking The Daily One.
I’m always looking for new cool places to hang out that just feel «comfortable.» The entire décor is simple, clean and warm. Old barn wood and white tile. Pure and clean.
As soon as I wanted in the owners greeted me and spent time explaining everything. I’m a Vitamixer myself but these things destroyed that. Yesterday I had The Tropical One, which has kale, and it was crazy good. My eight year old wouldn’t give it back but would never touch kale one I make it at home.
Anyway, this is the type of new, young places we need more of at the lake. Forget «chains,» these mom & pop warm businesses are the future (hopefully).

Thank you thank you for bringing cold pressed juices to Lake Norman! This is my new go-​to spot when I need to eat well. Their pressed juices are amazing (try the signature or the immunity one!), and the smoothies are delicious (I love the coffee one and the double one). The owners and staff are always kind, helpful and professional. I understand that some people don’t love the prices, but I try to keep in mind that you get what you pay for! Clean Juice doesn’t use any syrups or funky plastics like some bigger stores do. As for the wait times, did you know they have an app? It tells you when your order will be ready, and when you show up… Voila! It’s ready and waiting for you! I’m a big fan and will be back again and again!

I chose the chocolate peanut butter smoothie which was very good. It was a safe choice but I like that type of smoothie anyway. My friend told me about this place and he’s more adventitious in drinking vegetables than I am. When I was there the place was constantly busy which speaks volumes. Congrats Birkdale in finally getting a juice company in the village!

Lunch for a Monday, I got a smoothie… The Re-​hydrating One. It was delicious and exactly what I needed. I love the menu it has variety and if you have juiced before you know some are an acquired taste. When you juice often you begin to crave this stuff! Seeing the reviews I went in understanding this is a new business and that this for me is a meal… If i can wait 10 minutes or more anywhere else for food then the fresh juice/​smoothie is worth the wait. I know from juicing for years at home, this is not a quick process– especially when made to order. I did however, download the app, so now I can order in advance. I feel in general we need to stop rushing something great and healthy, support local businesses especially while in the early stages. Finding cheap organic produce is hard as I can imagine the same when buying in bulk for a business so it won’t be a cheap meal. It will take time for prices to adjust. I continue to use my dollar to cast a vote and make a stand — we want more organic produce! With enough votes the supply will have to meet demand and more farmers will invest in becoming organic!

This place is a hit or a miss… truly.
The first couple of times were great! I got the acai berry bowl (which was amazing) and then the next time, I got the so basic smoothie. Both were so delicious and was excited to have «found» my new it spot.
HOWEVER, your drink will either be delicious or pure disgusting depending on who makes the drink, and I’ve had more disgusting drinks than delicious ones. In addition to that, customer service isn’t that great and the wait for your drink is at least 15 minutes.
Not sure if I’d ever go back.

Oh my gosh, it’s 1:30pm on a Monday and we waited forever to get one smoothie! More than 15 min. There were only a handful of people there when we arrived and 3 people working. Hopefully they find a more efficient way of operating, because I won’t be stopping by to «grab» something if there’s a wait like this.
The smoothie was delicious, and I want to try more but the prices are ridiculous! It’s $ 7 – 8 for a 16oz smoothie. Why wouldn’t I just drive a couple minutes and go to Smoothie King? They have fresh fruit, too. 16oz isn’t big enough to be a meal.
I’ll be back to try their acai bowl, and I hope at least the wait is better.

This place is great!!! When you walk in, you are greeted with a fresh fragrance of whatever juice they are cold-​pressing. It just smells so fresh, clean and good! The space is bright, open and welcoming. The beautiful reclaimed wood wall with the logo on it is absolutely gorgeous, as is the rest of the place.
The atmosphere welcomes you. It’s not stuffy or ‘hipster’y’. Everyone will feel comfortable here. You are greeted by friendly staff that are willing to answer your questions. (Yes — all the ingredients are organic. Everything is made fresh on-​site.)
There is a refrigerated cabinet you can grab cold-​pressed juices to-​go or you can order a handmade juice, smoothie or acai bowl from the menu with the helpful staff. With names like «The Immunity One» (my fave so far), «The Hydrating One», «The Youthful One», «The Coffee One» «The Heart Healthy One», etc. you are sure to find something you like. There are also options to create your own smoothie or juice from the ingredients available, as well as add-​on options and wheat-​grass shots, juiced right there, to choose from.
They have several options for juice cleanses you can choose from. You can start with a one day cleanse or try a 2, 3 or 5 day option. There are also fresh and organic snacks for kids like applesauce packets or Annie’s Crackers. There is something for everyone looking for a healthy snack or drink. If you are waiting for your movie to start across the street or just strolling around Birkdale, it the perfect place to visit.
I would highly recommend if you are in the Lake Norman or Birkdale area you check out Clean Juice. Your body will definitely thank you for it!
