These guys are the best. I have been going here for almost 18 years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. They are professional in every way and that includes being trustworthy. Do you think I might be able to talk them into moving to FL when I retire down there?

Professional, nice, honest, straight forward, helpful, never feel ripped off, explain everything in simple, understandable terms AND… good prices.

I’d pay close attention to what they tell you with another source. They say one thing on the phone and charge more when you pick up the car. My wife picked up her car after an oil change and they did not change the filter. They told her, «we couldn’t get the filter off and didn’t want to break the filter housing. We’ll change it next time.» Wrong answer! I brought it back and the guy says, «would you like to take your car back to the last shop that changed your oil?» When I challenged them to make it right they argued with me. I also checked their headlamp price versus Autozone – twice the price! I will never go back.

I was passing through the area and had major electrical issues on my truck. Stopped to see what choices I had, and thankfully I was close to this place. They were crazy busy on this Friday afternoon, but they took a quick 10 min to diagnose my problem and offer their expert advice… which got me the last 400 miles to my destination.
Anyone in that area is lucky to have such a customer service — focused shop nearby, if you have any issue head on over for the real deal.

Very impressed with professional service! Not only did they put floor liner before starting service (which is common), they also put a seat liner down which I had not seen anyone do before — in this environment.
I was a walk-​in customer and they evaluated my tire need, suggested a replacement and performed the work, all in under about 30 minutes.
They even showed me the damage to my tire before moving on to replace.
In a time where consumers are constantly reminded of marginal to poor service, I can say without hesitation that Hook’s made me feel like VIP. Kudo’s to their entire staff!

I will take my car here for tires/​oil changes from now on! Late Tuesday night i was on my way home from work and my «check tire pressure» light came on. I turned around and went to the closest gas station and checked my tires and saw that my right front tire was pretty much TEARING and my left front tire was close. The closest tire place to my house is Hook Tire (my boyfriend had gone there before to get a valve stem fixed on his suv), so I went there at 7:15am the next morning (they open at 7:30am). The gentleman saw me sitting in the parking lot and unlocked the door as soon as he came into work at 7:20am. They got me right in, got me a GREAT price on my tires, and said to bring my car back every 5,000−6,000 miles because they rotate the tires for free when I buy them from there. These guys were nice, honest and fast. I will bring my car here from now on for tires (if needed) as well as oil changes.
