Whether it’s taming the caterpillars living above your eyes or the tropical forest below your equator, it’ll be a cake walk in the park with Amy at the… er… applicator. She’s very sweet and has a positive energy that will put you at ease from the moment you check-​in. Her approach is professional and matter-​of-​fact, no matter the region of your body that needs taming. And fastidious with cleanliness. HUGE! There was not one double dipping of an applicator. Amy is a strong supporter of the no-​hair-​left behind act. When it comes to my waxing needs, Amy gets my vote. Vote for Amy at Brazi Wax in Huntingdon Valley. I’m so glad I found her!

I gave Brazi Wax a go after finding a great groupon deal for a brazillian wax in the area, which is great because there aren’t many of these spots around. FYI, Brazi is owned by Tantopia so they share an entrance. My aesthetician Amy was professional and sweet, which most ladies (and gents) can agree is a very important quality for someone thats all up in your nether regions. I loved that they use both hard and soft wax here, depending on your hair type. The hard wax is almost painless! I took note that she used a new dipper every time and changed her gloves multiple times throughout the session, something which is (horrifyingly) not the norm in some salons. Amy did a meticulous job, slower than some, but definitely worth it. She also made sure i was comfortable throughout. Pain level was on the lower end of the spectrum, and I’ve tried quite a few salons. First time waxees would feel at ease with Amy. She even gave me some tips on how to reduce pesky ingrowns (aka the devil). And like the other reviewer said, you get a free underarm or eyebrow wax with your first visit. I picked eyebrow and she took her time and did a lovely job on that as well. There is also a nice loyalty program (rack up points for referrals, booking recall appointments right away, etc. which = $$ towards services).
Overall, a hygienic salon with affordable prices (reg. $ 45 for brazillian) and lovely aestheticians. Will certainly be back!

Very happy with my experience. I was referred by Groupon, which turned out to be a great value. Amy did a nice consultation and made me comfortable as a first time visitor. (Ps. All first timers get a complementary eyebrow, underarm or bikini line) Using a combination of hard soft wax, the process was relatively pain free and Amy was very thorough. I wasn’t rushed at all, which was nice. I don’t know of any other waxing places in this immediate area (Fox chase/​abington), so I’m glad I found this one. They do have a loyalty program, which rewards you for referrals, and packages.
