I used to love this place until today.
I loved this place so much that I bought two gift cards for my mom and sister as a present for her graduation. So they come to claim it, and Lee RUDELY tells my mother that she does not accept gift cards that were not signed and dated. She DEMANDED that whoever bought it come in person and talk to her. So mother calls me and I come twenty minutes later, the whole time she was waiting she was looked at by other customers.
I arrive. She then tells me that she will not accept the gift cards. She told me she fired the person that sold me the gift cards because they were stolen. I told her that it is not my problem. I am a paying customer whose bank account was debited by her business and she better give me the service. She was so rude and making me feel bad for not having HER signature on the gift card, which was not MY problem.
I am so sad, embarrassed, and disappointed at Lee. Because of the way she treated my mother and me in front of all those other customers, I will never recommend this place again. I am so embarrassed that I gave this present hoping that the receiver will feel lavished and pampered. Instead we left feeling HUMILIATED for services that were already PAID FOR.

Love Allure Nail Salon. Lee is very kind and accommodating, always making sure I’m satisfied with my service. The last manicurist painted beautiful fIowers on my toes, Kim I think her name was. I find it very relaxing here, glad they’re open Tuesday’s now.

This is the best and cleanest nail salon I have ever been to. The owner Lee is super friendly and always makes sure that you experience is great! I will never go to another nail salon!

Love this place! Having my cosmetology license and knowing what state board looks for this place is so sanitary and clean! Plus the staff is really nice!
Favorite part is they don’t offer any acrylic services!!! So no smells when you walk in their front door!!! Owner doesn’t want those bad chemicals around her clients and her employees!

I’ve been living in long beach for almost 3 years now and I’ll still make the drive out here to get my nails done. Service is great, very attentive, and love the wide variety of gel colors! Just wish she would open a location closer to me in LB ;).

Came in again, the service I receive is always above par. I feel like a king every time I come in for a pedicure. The owner and staff always make me feel so welcomed.

It took me a while to find my favorite nail salon in Huntington Beach. Honestly I love allure nail salon. Each lady provides great service, I’ve had multiple people do my pedicures and always they do a good job. The place is clean, massage chairs are super comfy, just a really nice relaxing place to get your nails done. Prices are very reasonable. I’ve taken a bunch of people here with me and they all agree that it’s a great location.
The owner is really nice and friendly, and remembers me even though I only come here maybe every 2 months.
Tip: definitely make a reservation on the weekends or you might need to wait. Just call ahead that morning.

I’ve been here a number of times and the service has been decent; however today was a completely different and will be the last time I go there. Service was awful! I asked for gel manicure, the lady didn’t file my nails correctly, the gel manicure on my fingers was done incorrectly when I try to point it out to the lady she became combative and started blaming it on my nails and fingers. In between doing my manicure and pedicure she was constantly answering the phone and running around trying to collect payment from other customers and making reservation. There was no focus on the work she was doing on my pedi and mani. When I saw that thing we’re not going to be done correctly and told her I don’t want the manicure and she was very short with me. When I went to go pay she charged me for both the mani and pedicure. I told her that I didn’t even get my toes painted and she told me I can get them painted, but she will still charge me for the pedicure. In the end, she yelled at me and told me I was the problem. When you go along with what she says it okay, but when you start giving your opinion the manager or owner will become argumentative and combative and will start to blame the customer. There are plenty of other nail salons… I’ll just cross this one off my list.

Allure is so clean and organized. I love how they do nails. The owner is so nice and cares for the service towers customers. Once my mother got her nails done by an older lady who didn’t do too great of a job so when Lee, the owner saw this she personally redid my mothers nails.
Personally, Alex is one of the best ladies there to do your nails. I would recommend this place to friends.

This is my FAVORITE nail salon! The owner, Lee, is so great! They truly make you feel so comfortable and at home here! I refuse to go anywhere else! Plus they have the MOST insane selection of colors for gel! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

I’ve been going here for years and this place is great. Excellent attention to detail. Typically at nail salons you have to avoid a certain staffer that doesn’t do a great job… literally every single person on staff is great here. If it isn’t right, they fix it and do not complain. That’s rare! I always do french mani/​pedis and they always look fantastic and last a long time. Recently I got a black bruise on my toe and they were able to find the right nail color to cover it so I could still do french. So impressed with their work and professionalism.

As a regular customer, I appreciate the welcoming greeting every time I come in. Lee is a sweet heart and remembers your name as well as our last conversation. She truly cares about you. The salon has a calming atmosphere. My mani (gel) and deluxe pedicure was really great today.

Love coming here. Easiest to call ahead on the weekends, as they can get pretty busy. Always a good atmosphere and very awesome ladies working here! The owner is exceptional and my favorite nail artist is Alex!

I’ve been coming to Allure for just over a year, and I’ll never go anywhere else again if I can help it. Prior to this, I bounced from nail place to nail place, never going more than twice. Either they were kind of dirty or the music was loud top 40, or there were too many acrylic fumes, the nail technicians paid more attention to chatter than your nails, or the quality of the work just wasn’t great.
Allure, however, is spotless through to every corner of the building. The instruments are sterilized and they open the sterile packages when they begin your work. The clean linens are out in full view. Allure’s music choices are always relaxing, soft versions of well known classics, instrumental only. Their chairs are comfortable and the whole atmosphere inside is lovely and calming. The technicians are sweet and extremely skilled — I have never been disappointed with their work. There are also no acrylic fumes! They don’t do them! I’ve never heard the buzz of those machines or seen a face mask or smelled a fume.
If you get just a manicure, you sit at their awesome nail bar, and pedicures and mani/​pedis are done in their massage chairs. There is always a fresh plastic «shower cap» style cover they put in the foot tub, and they still always scrub them after. Again: everything is spotless.
The owner, Lee, is kind and sociable, and is always willing to help me try new, fun things with my nails. I’ve gotten my mom hooked on coming here as well, and I recognize many regulars (including my former landlord) whenever I go in — which is every 2 – 3 weeks. The prices are fantastic — $ 67 total for their #1 menu item mani/​pedi with gel manicure. Much cheaper if you just get regular.
Looking at some of the bad reviews and after coming here a year — I can tell you, the only times I’ve seen any kind of stiff service is when the customer was extremely rude or entitled. I have been shocked at the kinds of things people expect, just because they are a customer. You come in with a bad and arrogant attitude, Lee won’t put up with it, and rightly so.
Allure has a lot of regulars for good reason. Most of them have been coming around at least as long as I have.
I can’t recommend it enough.

I love this place! The salon is really clean. Relaxing music playing. I had a mani pedi. Ann did my pedi and did an amazing job. Chi did my mani and couldn’t be happier! All of the staff are really polite and friendly! Massage chairs are soooo nice they all look new. Liners in the foot bath. Happy Hour Tuesday and Wednesday 2 $ off!

Everyone here is very pleasent and nice to work with. The girls are very nice and spend time to fully do a great job. My first time in a nail salon and was very happy I went with my wife. Now my feet are all fresh and clean.

Wow! I love the responses from this nail shop to my honest review. From comments to private messages, first cursing in Vietnamese then realizes that I might not understand … then in English lol thank you for reading my review and taking it seriously! I supposed it did hit home and evoked quite an angry emotion from them.
However, as a business. Especially here in the Unilocal community … if you are going to respond to a review, I highly suggest you post a direct response to it PUBLICLY and defend your entity’s actions then and there. That would make everyone see your shop in a brighter light.
Making multiple fake profiles to give your shop 5 stars and sending hateful messages to your reviewers will not make things better. It will not make you look any better. Just a friendly advice.
Keep entertaining me sweetheart, it just proves to me how uneducated and unprofessional you are. Keep them coming … I look forward to your cursing both in English and in Vietnamese. I’m exposing you now :) be proud of your actions :)

I have psoriasis plan and simple. I visited this nail shop, as I entered the shop I waited to be helped. I was approached by a staff member and was told. «we can not help you because of your rash».
This was the first time ever in my life I was turned away for my condition. I understand not being comfortable. You could have just worn gloves to protect your self.
I will never visit this place ever again. Please train your staff in understanding.

Saw this place on Unilocal when I was in the area. The ladies are super nice. I got a gel mani and a deluxe pedi. The lady who did my nails was tracy and she did great on my manicure. They use a disposable liner for the pedi bowl which is a good sign that they take sanitizing seriously.
