BevMo!

Came here to pick up the champagne we ordered, it was 5 cents wine sale event again, also some extra deals if we get 12 or more bottles of wines. Turned out the savings were almost 50% off! SWEET deal indeed!
We got complimentary wine tastings from our wine purchase. Tasting is only $ 5 anyways, we get to try 5 different wines and a craft beer. Fun tasting, great afternoon mood boost, loved it! The staffs were very friendly and helpful, definitely one of the best locations we have ever been to!
Ps. Wine tasting is 2 – 5 pm on Saturdays for $ 5, you get complimentary tickets from wine purchasing.

This place has great selection and awesome customer service. Staff is friendly and on top of things. Willing to help you find what you need, and advice on what’s more popular! Great job!

The Store Manager, Mario, contacted me and offered me an accommodation. He was really nice and prompt with my issue. I will now return to shop here again.

I’ve been a frequent shopper at BevMo for several months, I didn’t realize how fortunate I’ve been to have the assistance of Jenn almost every time I shop. I’ve recently visited the store, and Jenn was off, and customer service was bad, the clerk, really had no idea of the stock he had, he paraded the aisles looking for what I asked, and he had no luck. Kudos to Jenn, thanks for knowing the store, and being great at your job.

I came in looking for a craft brewery that I did not expect them to have, and they didn’t. However employee here named Jen said she would try and order it and to check in a week in the meantime she pointed me to a couple small craft beer but I had not heard of that sound amazing she described the taste, told me about some more beers, and showed me a couple that were on special that were really unique and she thought would be good for me to try. All in all I had a phenomenal experience Jen was amazing and I am super excited to try some the beers I bought today.

Stupid!
I went into the Huntington Beach location to pick-​up some bar accessories.
I just turned 58 years old last week. People say I look young.
But, even though I was not buying alcohol, I had to TAKE MY DRIVERS LICENSE OUT OF MY WALLET and hand it to the checker.
Really?

I bought a wine fridge and it stopped working. I called for the manager since I still had the reciept, he said to check if it has freon? he said to contact the manufacturer that he is unable to help me. It was a waste of time.

Called earlier to see if the beverage I wanted was available chilled. Answer? No. Bummer. But wait… since I don’t really need it for 3 hrs he offers put it in the back to chill & I can pick it up later. Awesome! 3 hrs later I come to pick it up and the first guy I see, Mike, was very confused. Wanted to know who I talked to earlier? Does it really matter? Just look in the back please. Or, just help some other people first, what ever works for you. Aaaaand 10 minutes later you can’t find it. Super helpful. But if I want the warm bottle… uhmm, no. I’m good. And late. Thanks a bunch. Beverages and More. Evidently the ‘more’ doesn’t include customer service. Too bad; I had high hopes. If you know what you want and don’t need any help, you’re all good. Otherwise, proceed at your own risk.

I’ve never had a problem with this BevMo. Always found what I was looking for and I’ve gotten really great service and recommendations here.

wow… I just got back from BevMo. I asked one of the workers there for a Red Wine to pair with some Lamb I was about to cook, I got home opened up the bottle and its sparkling red dessert wine… are you fucking serious? And the wine isnt even good it tastes like cranberry juice but even more sugary. FUCK YOU!

Stopped in here on Friday — looking for some Sweet Revenge «Whiskey»…
The only employee I saw was the gentleman working the cash register, so I got in line, asked him if they carried it, and he told me exactly where it was. Picked it up, got back in line and paid for it. Pretty simple… he was very nice and very helpful… having an employee out on the floor for help would be my only suggestion — but otherwise, everything was awesome.

I’d always been a loyal customer of their store, and their 5 cents sales… until tonight.
Came to the stores at 8pm, almost empty. Browsed around and selected some good collections and excited to check out… I was about to spend more than $ 200 in wines, as I usually spent every time they had the 5 cents sales.
Everything was fine, until we met the cashier guy. Not only he was unfriendly, he was extremely rude. When we asked for wine suggestions, he said «I never drink» with a big attitude. No smile, no thank you, not a single word. His ill attitude was trying to tell us that we’re stupid to drink wine.
I was just shocked and couldn’t believe it. As a company like Bev and more, dont they supposed to hire staffs with knowledge about wines instead of those morons?
I’m a big wine consumers and sad but determined to stay away from company like Beverage and More. There are plenty of other companies (i.e. Total Wine next door or Hi-​Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa) that I’m sure providing a decent service, or at least not as rude as at Bev and More.

BevMo… it’s been about six weeks. For those six weeks I’ve been frequenting Total Wine and More (in the shopping center rightnextdoor as I pointed out before). Know what? 5% discount doesn’t mean shit to me anymore…5 cent sales don’t mean shit to me anymore…
KNOW WHY???
–TWM’s prices are right on track with yours, or slightly less
–I don’t have to wait in a line of 8 people because there are only one or two check stands open
–I don’t «sometimes» have to give up my CDL to you so you can implant a chip in my brain via osmosis or whatever the hell it is that you do with it when you «sometimes» tell me you can’t sell to me if I don’t give it up.
–I don’t have to have an anxiety attack over whether I’m going to be hassled about being able to use my 5% off coupon on my phone and/​or be given disapproving looks along with an exasperated request to your manager to see if the «rules» can be «broken» for me.
Sorry BevMo… I don’t need to have someone give ME the business when I’m giving them MY business!
I’m giving MY business to Total Wine and More because they appreciate MY business and actually have their shit together!

BevMo always makes me smile when I walk in. It’s a candy store for adults and has a great selection of alcohol, although a bit lacking in the foreign beers. Still, great selection of wine and domestic beers at reasonable prices. This location hasn’t really won me over, being neither cold nor warm with the customer service that I’ve noticed. Perhaps it’ll get better after a glass of wine or two in the tasting section. :)

So, I can walk right across the street from my place to get the same beer I used to get when I lived a thousand miles Northwest of here?
Count me in.
Not only do they have my favorite Drifter Pale Ale, but they have plenty of other offerings from Widmer Brothers and Deschutes Brewery.
I don’t really care what else they have or don’t have. Well, I’m sure one day I’ll be tempted…

Quick, easy, great selection, and I love the 5 cent sales. I’m a club member, of course! I love the wines, and I also like to take the kids in to try the root beers — they love that!
When they do tastings — it’s terrific. Not fancy — but still fun. BevMo is a staple, like the grocery store!

Pavilions was sold out of my current favorite brew (‘Raspberry Brown’ by Lost Coast Brewery) so I stopped by last night to clean them out as well. This place has everything! If your looking for that special brew for an amazing price (i.e. 22 oz bottles @ $ 3.69 ea with your club Bev card), the HB BevMo is def the spot.
*Ill be back on Tuesday to buy out the new shipment ;)

A good selection of alcohol & cheese BevMo… over all good, not vast as the other wine places I’ve reviewed but it’s decent.
BevMo is good especially when you’re near 1 & you have 2 get some alcohol for some occasion, this is much better than the street corner liquor store I’d say. =)
I come here when it”s their 5 cent sale for the 2^nd bottle of wine so I can get more bang for my buck =)

Most of the BevMos that I’ve been to, they’re usually understaffed & this one was no exception.
So if you need help, you have to go looking for it, hardly anyone here will ask you if you need help =(
