This is the best burger joint in OC! The owner, Andrew, greets you with a smile and friendly hello. The choices are plentiful, varied, and each one a success. The prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the speed, content, and volume. I pity the other shops in this complex as I’ll never visit them, not so long as this place is here.

Omg!!! The best burgers and fries in HB hands down !! Oh and their ice cream shakes… forget about it –just amazing! As if that wasn’t enough the service is absolutely fabulous !! Make this your burger stop every time !!!

I had the Morgan’s Yum burger and it was outstanding. I am not a burger person but loved this one. Something about the sauce. The fries are crisp and delicious dipped in the variety of sauces (I like the green chili ranch). The owner is ALWAYS there and takes a lot of pride in satisfying his customers.

Had the chance to enjoy my first Boardwalk burger yesterday… Had a regular cheeseburger — very tasty, but the highlight for me was the fries. Seasoned perfectly and super crispy — yum! Can’t wait to try some of the other burgers on the menu (the bleu burger caught my eye!)

We ordered burgers, fries and veggie burgers for our Super Bowl party for 40 of our closest friends, everyone loved the food! I would recommend Boardwalk over any burger place in HB and this is coming from a so cal native who grew up on In n Out, this place is way better!!! The owner even delivered the food personally to our party! Thanks Andrew!

Last night we took our children into boardwalk. We met the owner and manager of the restaurant, Andrew. He obviously takes great pride and responsibility in running a really great establishment. We ordered the chicken platter, three burgers, fries, and they’re awesome shakes made with low-​fat yogurt. I have to say everything was amazing.
My favorite was the Morgan burger. You must try this when you go! There’s a neat story behind it, if Andrew is there ask him about it.
The shakes were freshly made and all the food came out piping hot. I also met the new chef, Shawn, and he takes great pride in his food coming out the right way.
Great location and friendly staff. Would definitely go again… highly recommend!

I live close by and have been here a few times. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat and close to the beach this place is good. I always get the mushroom swiss burger, yummm. Usually their fries are good, but last time I went they were old and not very tasty. I have noticed it slow down a lot. Usually I see people out the door, but when I went in there were maybe 3 other people there. I’m hoping they can turn things around, it would be a shame to lose a good burger joint close by!

I really do hate writing bad reviews, and to be honest their burgers aren’t bad (to me anyways). I am writing this because I am not sure who is in charge of this place but the cashier woman scratches her head and then touches the food. Each time I have come in here I have only seen 1 man cooking food and sometimes the cashier woman goes back there and has conversations with him and helps him cook! (???)
Don’t get me wrong the fries are pretty good too but they are always very greasy.
Like I said, I was very turned off when I asked for a cup to put vinegar in and she scratches her head with her nails and picks up a cup after, yuck

My whole family loves this place. There is a wide selection of burgers to match whatever mood you are in and they are delicious! The buns are so fresh. I can’t even describe the fries… super fresh and tasty and to top them off you can chose from about 10 plus dipping sauces!!! They have salads that I haven’t tried but look amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful… always checking to make sure you are enjoying your food. I highly recommend this neighborhood place!

Just came in to check it out. Was greeted by 2 very friendly gentlemen. Seeing they have waky Wednesday makes me want to come and try it this week.
I didn’t eat here but going off how nice they were and how nice the cool vibe décor was in side. Makes we want to come and try this place out for sure!
I’ll be back with my kids in tow. Will repost review after eating.
So I came back the next day. Ordered a simple cheese burger with avocado. It’s was ok. I’ll try it again when they change the menus I understand will be happening soon. Something about the meat when I got to the end of the burger just had a strange taste. Almost rich chili taste. Strange

One of our favorite burger hangouts. Go there every Wednesday for $ 2. Wacky burgers. Choice of buns, turkey or beef, always fresh. Like it better than in n out or the habit. Shakes are a yogurt base with a wide variety of choices using fresh fruit to peanut butter and chocolate. Fries are fresh whole potatoes, cut onsite, long and well cooked. Crew is always friendly, clean and polite. Andrew is great, has really brought the order to table time way down. A place where someone really cares about doing it right and keeping the customers happy. Thursday’s have $ 2. Rolling rock beers. Bottomless soda fountain. Fresh ingredients.

I ordered the avocado bacon burger. (Bacon on the side since I don’t eat it) the burger was really good all the flavor was there. The fries on the other hand idk how they were voted number 1. I’m definitely not a fan of them I ate maybe three fries and gave the rest to my friend. The staff was very friendly. If I want a burger I’ll be coming here again just no fries!

Tonight was the last straw. A line of customers and no one in sight. Too many times I have gone in there and no «adults» in charge (or sometimes ANYONE to be found). After waiting way too long, I literally walked into the back part of the restaurant wondering if the place had been robbed and everyone was locked in the freezer.
My mistake, everyone was on a smoke break somewhere outside and out of sight.
This WAS, for a very short time, a nice addition to the HB cool places to eat. You ruined it with irresponsible management. There is no way this site will survive.
Nice try, no effort. Good luck elsewhere.

It was weird. Lots of employees filling the area behind the counter and very few customers.
The burgers were very small. Bleh…
There is a menu on the wall that says Dreyer’s Ice Cream shakes and all the flavors. When we asked for one we were told they only make frozen yogurt shakes now. We fell for it. YUCK!
Now listen to this… I walk over to the counter and ask the manager for a couple of spoons for our shakes. He gave us forks and said «we don’t have spoons here. A fork will work»

Discovered Boardwalk Burgers while visiting from out of town. Had the Bleu Burger (yum)! Burgers & fries were delicious. Restaurant & restroom was clean.
The 2 girls working were so pleasant & helped make our meal/​experience a good one. May have to visit again before I leave town!

Thought I would try one of their turkey burgers as its wacky Wednesday and the beef and turkey burgers are $ 2.00. It was a small burger, but what can you expect for $ 2.00. They give you the choice of white or wheat bun with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, mayonnaise, tomatoes and pickles. The best park of eating here was really the cool air conditioning and it was close to 90 degrees in Huntington Beach that day, so it was nice and relaxing.
Some of the tables sat dirty for awhile and it wasn’t busy. If you are in a pinch and want to try a burger on Wednesday for the small tariff of $ 2.00, it will satisfy you until the next meal down the short road, but not too much further than that.
