C & M Windows & Doors

Patrick from C & M Window & Doors came out to give me an estimate. I approved the estimate 3-​weeks ago and told Patrick to get it going. After sending an email, calling, and leaving message to call me. Absolutely no follow through from this outfit. Deadbeat company!
If I could give NO STARS, they would get that!

Our south facing family room had a quadruple patio slider — too much heat and sun, and difficult to get ventilation. C&M removed the sliders, built a new wall, and installed three Milgard awning windows. Nice crew, clean work. Upon job completion, the interior was ready for paint, and the stucco outside matched very well. We now get less heat and light, and plenty of ventilation.

Patrick Sr. and Patrick Jr. were more than helpful and nice while they installed replacement windows in my mom’s home. The house is really old and has had a terrible termite issue. So when they pulled the old windows out, there were a few rotten wood issues. Their installation team, under Patrick Sr. supervision, replaced all the rotten wood around the windows so they had a nice new base. My mom loves her new milguard windows! They keep her house a lot cooler or warmer, the outside noise is significantly less and most importantly the dust is virtually eliminated. I highly recommend C& W windows.

We found this dealer on Milgard’s certified dealer website. They did not disappoint! We wanted to get new Windows but we were weary with quality performance near the ocean. The guys and C&M were very helpful and knew a lot. We decided to go with Milgard Tuscany. The Windows and sliding glass doors look amazing. They are vinyl but don’t even look like it. They also have a lifetime warranty including glass insurance. I highly recommend this dealer. They were reasonably priced and worked with us on payments.

This company is great and the local real deal. It seems they are mom & pop but backed by big manufacturers. We have recently been installed with some gorgeous Milgard windows. C&M were extremely knowledgeable about the product, install process, and the warranties. All of our doors and windows they installed have a LIFETIME warranty, even covering glass breakage.
The customer service was great as well and I hope that you all get to experience their outgoing and corky personalities because they were really enjoyable to interact with.
C&M has also been in the business for almost 30 years. I would recommend them to anybody.

Everything started out great with C&M Windows and Doors. We contacted them after we received a list of Milgard Windows and doors installers from the manufacturer itself. We checked them out on Unilocal and only found one negative review on them. That bad Unilocal review was the one I should have paid attention to. We got different estimates and they gave us a lower quote than most contractors for a Milgard patio door. They also worked with us on a payment schedule. For those reasons we chose to go with them. It was a bad decision. Several things went wrong: 1) The order was placed incorrectly. We were notified the night before delivery date that they ordered the wrong door. They asked us to accept the order and told us that they would fix the error later, which they did. They later blamed the order error on us saying that we rushed the order. 2) When they finally installed the door, they installed it incorrectly. The door was not plumb any way you put the level on it and the stucco work was horrible, full of recesses and lumps. They made multiple excuses to avoid fixing the door and repairing the stucco. Patrick Sr. blamed the poor door installation on the wall studs stating that they were either bowed or not level. I pointed out that my walls are perfectly plumb but that still didn’t stop their excuses. We eventually contacted Milgard manufacturing to help us resolve the issue we had with their poor work. Patrick Jr. finally came back, they did a better job with the stucco and he straightened the door out a little better. The best way, in my opinion, would have been to remove the door and completely plumb and level everything, but they did not do that. We did not get contractor quality work from them, AT ALL, and the cost was still over $ 3,000. This is not a company that you want to use if you want good, contractor quality work. You won’t get it with them. I’m posting this to Unilocal in hopes that I help someone else avoid making a mistake and going with C&M Windows and Doors.

Patrick and his dad are awesome. They are honest and the pricing is fair. Quality of work is excellent. I highly recommend them. If they had any idea just how many people I send to them they would be surprised. ;)

I’ve had nothing but the best service from here and I too have dealt with Patrick. The company is not a massive corporation and probably don’t have 100 employees or installers working at once. The other reviews look kinda harsh.
Anyways, I found Patrick to be professional and personable. He was realistic with delivery and they installed in the timeline that they gave me.
They had a large selection of energy efficient windows and the finance option I was given had a low interest rate and reasonable payoff.
I recommend this place. For sure.

First, I seldom think anyone deserves 5 stars. That takes exceptional service. But, Patrick Clarke and C & M Windows qualify.
Patrick showed up to give his estimate when he said he would, which is more than most of his competitors could manage to do.
The price quoted was very competitive.
He willingly pulled the city permits and communicated with the HOA.
His crews performed the work when they said they would, and to the standard that they said they would.
There is not a single aspect of the job that I could find fault with so far. I will certainly use C & M again if I need windows or doors replaced. And, I might not bother to get alternate bids because C & M were such good value and easy to deal with.
