Best dry cleaner in the history of dry cleaners, I recently brought in 6 items and they were all handled to perfection. I would recommend to everyone to bring in their clothes! :) Thank gosh it exists

Alright, so I’m a bit miffed. I brought in a brand spanking new pair of pants(that thankfully, I got during a sample sale– you’ll understand why momentarily). I had a bag of 6 or 7 other items that I wanted hemmed(the perils of being a short girl), but decided against it when the lady who was working informed me that dress hems START at $ 14…what the damn hell! Veiling my shock moderately well, I asked how much it would be to hem a pair of pants instead. She told me it would be $ 7 or something in that ballpark. This was still more than I anticipated spending for a single clothing alteration but I had little patience to shop around on that particular day. When I pulled the pair of pants out of my sack o’ clothes, the response was«ohhhh that price was for jeans… for those it’ll be $ 9». Apparently the tailor needs the extra couple bucks to brave the treachery that is viscose. At this point I had already decided I was never going to patronize this shop again, but I was in too deep, so I went in the back and showed her where I wanted the new hem to be. She marked one pant leg with a SINGLE safety pin, and assured me that this was sufficient for the tailor. As someone who sews but cannot fix her own hems due to the lack of sewing machine in her life, I was a little taken aback, because I’ve never used such a method. I figured for the price and minimal process, this tailor must be a wiz kid. I further reminded myself that this shop had taken care of my prom dress years ago, and it had turned out beautifully. THISWASNOTTHECASETHISTIME. I picked up my pants yesterday, and the one star is for presentation, because they did look beautiful and fresh in that dry cleaners packaging. Then, this morning, in the harsh light of day, I looked them over again. Stitches were a bit crooked, but that happens, and I let it slide. Then I try them on. As I stated previously, they’re viscose, so a sort of stretchy cotton-like material with an elastic waistband. I pulled them up, I sagged them, I split the difference and wore them at my hips. There was no getting around it– the right leg is now HALF A FUCKINGINCHSHORTERTHANTHELEFT. I would rather harvest the cotton, spin it into thread, weave that thread into fabric, and hand sew myself an entire new wardrobe than ever give my business to this house of scam artists again.

Yesterday I dropped off my cleaning. The attendant at the store took time to explain their services. Unfortunately they don’t have a website of list of precise services. So here goes: Cotton Jeans Laundered. They are air dried, consequently the turn around time is longer than dry cleaning items. Dry Cleaned Jeans: and I assume laundered jeans are also steam pressed on a special machine. In the past my Jeans never had a solid crease and the crease was never properly centered. Jeans cleaned from this establishment are perfectly creased, and the crease holds up well. If careful not to get my jeans soiled, I get two wearings between cleanings. Saves money. Shirts are handled to perfection. The irony is that this cleaners charges less than all others known, and currently has Sunday hours. If you think I am spoiled, you’re right.

They did well for me. It was my first time trying this location and I brought in items for cleaning and some for alterations. When I arrive to pick up my items the lady remembered who I was and was able to take care me quickly. Not only did I get a discount for my first time being there, but the lady remembering me when I came to pick up my items made me feel as though I am a valued customer.

Shittiest dry cleaner i’ve ever been to. They are expensive, and if that isn’t enough, they ran my card twice, said it «didnt work» ran it again as credit, and I go home and see that I was charged twice. I go back to get it fixed, the lady at the counter has the WORSTATTITUDE I’ve ever dealt with at a business. She obviously had NO clue what she was doing. I showed her my receipt which said January 2nd, and she pulls out a receipt from August of last year for a woman(when I am clearly a man) and asks if that’s the issue I’m talking about. She didn’t read my receipt, or the other receipt that she pulled out, she was very incompetent. Then she calls the owner and he refuses to come down to handle the situation. She tells me that they’ll handle it on their end and I can just leave, and of course, nothing ever happens. I’m STILL dealing with this problem now when I don’t have time to. Don’t go here if you don’t want to be LITERALLY robbed.

I am not the kind of guy who dry cleans much of anything. However, I dry clean my comforters, they last longer, and the batting doesn’t get bunched up in the corners! I used to go to White Bear on Lemon in Fullerton(great dry cleaners! fast too!) but now that i live in HB I needed a dry cleaners who was reasonably priced. This place is a few blocks from my house and on my route home from work, they are also right next to Stater Bros, and across the street from home depot so its a convenient stop on my way to other errands. I brought in a thick queen size black comforter, and a cream colored comforter, queen size but much thinner. I went in on a Saturday afternoon, and was informed they don’t do any cleaning on the weekends. Really? What about blue collar america who works mon-fri? I needed my comforters cleaned, and they said they could have them done by monday afternoon, ok, no big deal, the weather is nice, I can go without a comforter for 2 nights, right? they then tell me it will be $ 35 bucks. so not only am i going without my beloved comforter, but im paying $ 35 for it to be dry cleaned. Typically for both comforters I would pay $ 20 – 25 at other establishments. I said screw it, i don’t have time to find another place. I left them the comforters and got my ticket. the ticket said it would be ready by 4pm on Monday. I left work early on Monday so i could get my comforters back before they closed. I arrive and lo and behold… they do not have the comforters. they tell me there were some tough stains so they had to keep them a little longer. I left this bitch my phone number… could she have taken a break from watching the telenovella and called me to let me know that they were keeping my stuff longer? Oh no, that would have required customer service. the girl disappears into the back for 10 minutes, and comes back, I was told to come back the next day to get the comforters. I had to go back on tuesday and again leave work early to get to the place before they closed. guess what, no comforter!!! so i go back again on Wednesday and they finally had my comforter Wonder never cease! I asked what happens if you guys don’t have stuff ready by when the ticket says its ready and was told«nothing». I asked why do you even put the pickup time on here if it has no bearing on reality??? she had no clue. So i then asked if she thought it would be fair to give me a break on the price since they have had my comforter longer than promised and i have had to come back 3 times, when this all could have been avoided had they simply called me. they refused to give me any sort of discount for wasting my time, and had a «shit happens» attitude. DONOT go here. god forbid you have a «heavily soiled» item, and they decide to keep it longer, they wont tell you, oh no. SURPRISE! your crap isnt ready! I give this place a big thumbs down, negative stars and no love.
