I am sad that they took off the Tuna Sandwhich off the Mom’s Sandwhich. If you order a combo with a salad you can add any other topping to the salad at no extra cost that is not meat. For example: you can make your side salad into and Asian salad without the meat. Hope that was useful

BIGUPDATE: BUGALERTDONOTCOMEHERE. LETMETELLYOUABOUTMYENTIREEXPERIENCETHATTHISPLACEDESERVES A NEGATIVEBILLIONSTARS. Ordering: Ok giving my local corner bakery a third try after the last two bad experiences with the same problem. The girl who took my order was supper slow and asked me multiple times my order. I thought«Three pasta combos, two chicken carbanaras and one pesto with caesar salad on the side» was pretty clear and direct but maybe to her I was speaking a different language. It was $ 30. Ok that’s the usual price at other corner bakery’s I go to also no biggie. I let it slide because its lunch hour and gotta cut them some slack. Wait: It took like fifteen minutes… again cutting them some slack. Lunch hour… lunch hour. I was very patient. Receiving the order: Whoever bagged my food has no sort of common sense or does not think in general. She threw all three pastas, salads, and breads in one bag and expected me to carry it looking like the bag was going to rip open and send my food to the ground, pressing my buttons here, but ok lunch hour… I let it slide. I’m trying to be really nice here. I did notice the salad looked kinda empty, but I was hoping that it was only for the first box. At Home Eating the food: I take it all out and now I’m just pissed off. THISISNOT $ 30PORTIONS. Ok let me just break this section down into smaller sections. Pastas: WHATKINDOFPORTIONS. I’m not stupid. Did they take me as stupid because I know what their portion sizes are supposed to look like both take out and sit in and this was not it. The pesto was half full. My pasta was barely ¼. And the other one was a little over a fourth. ANDGUESSWHAT? No peas in the chicken carbonara for both of them. And all three pastas were barely warm. I had to microwave all three of them again. Like they probably did. Bread: You know those side breads that everyone loves and craves more of? They were soggy and tough and barely warm and ugh. Salad: NOWTHEMOMENTYOU’VEALLBEENWAITINGFORFEATURINGTHEBUGS. Hahahahahahaha This place not only deserves to have no more customers but also needs to be health department inspected. BIGTIME. So I’m eating my salad and all three of them are ¼ full mind you and I sift through it while I’m chewing and I spot something brown. My deepest fear is unlocked and I’m silently hoping that even if this place is this crappy so far that they wouldn’t go down this road with me. i check what it is and closely observe. Its a bug to my horror and I immediately spit out all the salad in my mouth and rinse my mouth twenty times over and brush my teeth for ten minutes because there are bugs in the salads. I say no more and end my case. NEVERCOMINGBACK.

Just had lunch with my 2 kids and was warmly greeted by Mike(he appeared to be the manager). He gave me a tip on enjoying their Monster cookies. Our meal was great and not too over priced. Upon leaving, Mike came over to see if we needed anything else and cleared out table. He was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Its employees like this with fantastic customer service that bring customers back. Great job. More people should be mike Mike. Thank you.

I’m not into overpriced pastries to start with but I always drive past this place and was hankering for a mocha so I stopped in. I saw their display case and figured I try a lemon crème pie with my truffle mocha. I placed my order and the young kid who took my order asked me like 3 times to repeat my order. I finally pointed to the crème pie on the case and felt satisfied he got it right. Ok, so a few minutes later I’m called and I pick up my drink and a bag with my pastry. I drive off and then return when I saw they put a lemon pound cake instead. I explained to an older cashier that my order of a truffle mocha and a lemon crème pie was incorrect and he asked if I wanted to exchange my pastry for a drink,(??). I repeated in a clear calm tone that the pound cake I got should have been a crème pie and he said ok then gets a M&M cookie and hands it to me! I again repeated to him my request and pointed to the pie in the display case and he reacted as if I was about to go ape shit in him. I clearly wasn’t but he must have thought otherwise and at this point he would have given me anything I wanted just to get me out of there. I walked out, drove off and took a sip of my mocha and what do you know… it wasn’t a truffle mocha. It was a plain old hot chocolate. :-( If you’re gonna serve overpriced pastries at least train your people to listen and get the orders right.

My girlfriend and I always come here for the Loaded Baked Potato soup. We’ve ordered it so much that we’ve been recognized as the«Potato Soup Couple.» We always feel warmed and welcomed by the smiles and greetings of your employees. Mostly from Ciera! Ciera is so genuine and we love seeing her when she’s working. She deserves a promotion because she knows how to make a customer feel special. We will never stop coming! And never stop selling the loaded baked potato!

I had the Pesto Cavatappi and it was worth every penny. The pasta was amazing and the service was even better! The waitress Siera was very nice and I’m definitely coming back for more!

Great location! I usually order to go and they’re always very fast with making the food. My favorite here is the chicken pomodori, Pesto Cavatappi, Loaded Baked Potato soup. I’m deducting 1 star because their portions can be inconsistent.

Will never return. Starting with staff, they are all clueless and run around trying to do ten things at once. The Manager that I see often is an ass when taking orders. Never a smile or thank you. He seems to be more in the way than helping, maybe stay in back and count cookies. I ordered same dish in 3 different visits. The first was great, pesto cavatoppi hot and fresh with good bread. The last two visits was a different story. Dry pasta and stale bread and forgot my chicken. I asked for some chicken and gave me lunch meat that was over cooked in a microwave. Good try guys but you suck.

I decided to give this place a try because I was nearby and starving. Ordered the pasta combo to go and they filled the small to go container half full… I’ve eaten there before and I know that the size of the plate they use for their side salads would hold much more salad than what they gave me. The bread that comes with the combo is soggy and old and the pasta is slightly warm

Manic Monday calls for a quick take out meal. I never had Corner Bakery. Can you believe it? I have been wanting to try the paninis here. I like this location as it is located in a prime location at Bella Terra. It’s at the west end next to Pei Wei. This spot is spacious yet feels cozy. There is outdoor seating as well. I had the«corner combo». You have a choice of half a sandwich/panini with small soup or salad. I opted for the smoked turkey panini with a caesar salad. The panini was soooo good! It comes with smoked turkey, provolone cheese, roasted tomatoes, applewood bacon, and mayo. The panini hit the spot. Very flavorful in every bite. The ceasar salad is typical. Nothing great but the dressing was delish! The combo also comes with kettle cooked bakery chips ie potato chips. I would come back to try some of the dessert items. Looks so yummy in the display case just calling my name!!! My 3 course meal costs less than $ 10.

Dropped by here with my two best friends after working our butts off from a hike. I went for the bacon and cheddar panini along with good old lemonade. The panini hit the spot. I waited for my friends orders to come, and after five minutes of waiting, my panini was still hot. Took a bite, delicious. The egg was perfect and fluffy. The bacon, so crispy. Anyways, as for the lemonade, I mixed the two lemonades together. Half of the cup contained the old fashion lemonade and the other half contained hibiscus lemonade. So tasty and refreshing. Spent $ 7.32 total. It was cheap and delicious.

Today I had an unpleasant visit at the Corner Bakery in HB. I was served a burnt Panini, I didn’t complain to a manager but I asked one of the girls serving food if she thought the panini looked OK. She offered to bring me a fresh one which is nice of her but she didn’t apologize. Anyway I decided to give them two stars because if the cook thinks it’s OK to serve burnt food he is very wrong! the manager reading this should be aware of the quality of food his employees believe is good enough to serve.

I have been coming here for years. Great for breakfast. But I wish they serve fried eggs instead of scrambled eggs. I really like the steel cut oatmeal.

Although I feel that the food is delicious here, I agree that it is pretty expensive for the amount of food you get! Actually, every time I come back here, the prices seem to get higher and higher and portions smaller! Example — Came here for dinner last night and got the soup and sandwich combo, but little to my knowledge that the former caprese sandwich was now what looked like a mini caprese TACO! It was very small but packed a lot of flavor and was good, just a lot smaller than what the sandwich used to be! The broccoli cheddar soup of course is amazing but with the small caprese taco and chips, I was sort of shocked at the $ 9.07 price! Should be $ 6.99 max!

Salad, soups, sandwiches and baked goodies! Tried Corner Bakery for my first time and really liked it! I had the ½ sandwich and soup combo. This came with a bag of chips and a pickle on the side. The sandwich I tried was the chicken pomodori, includes spinach, tomato, cheese, chicken and pesto on a grilled, buttery panini! It was delicious and I could have gobbled up another half. I chose a cup of tortilla chicken soup. The soup was flavorful every bite was filled with small pieces of corn and veggies. They have two different homemade lemonades. I went with the original one and it was sweet and tart. They also have a few different coffee options and soft drinks. Once you order you are given a number to place on your table and your food is brought out to you. It was pretty quick except they forgot my tortilla strips for the soup but another server caught it and brought it out to me right away. Before we left I ordered a dessert to go. I got a cream cheese brownie. I was disappointed because it was like I was eating fudge. It was was to soft and didn’t taste like a doughy cake. I would definitely be back to try other sandwiches! Great spot for a lighter meal!

I love this place for their pancakes. My favorite. It’s me and my daughter’s spot when we do some bonding. Great service! Pancakes are fluffy and buttery. The kids meals are no joke. Since we dined in, it seems my daughter got a hearty serving of the fruit. Although here grilled cheese kids combo didn’t come with a pickle, they included one for her and it was a pleasant surprise. I just ordered a small bowl of their baked potato soup for $ 3.99 but her meal had the same size soup as mine, her half sandwich, fruit, juice, bag of chips, and the pickle for under $ 5! I’m may need to order off the kids menu myself. We’ll definitely be back for more mother-daughter bonding moments. Great location where you can walk off all the food browsing the stores within the same shopping center.

First time ever at Corner Bakery, and I’d say that I am pleased at most. We ordered the lemon chicken orzo, chicken noodle soup, and Asian pork sandwich. I was recommended the orzo, and it was pretty delicious! Hearty, thick, and piping hot, but I wished they’d add just a tad bit more lemon or a little bit less salt. Chicken noodle soup was pretty generic, not extraordinary, but not bad either. Both soups came with a small slice of bread, which hopefully is warm or hot next time. The Asian pork sandwich was really good, and the sauce paired with it perfectly. Overall, food and service were great, but the servings are rather small.

TLDR: They give small portions :( This Corner Bakery is located in Bella Terra. They have pretty good parking in the area and there’s seating inside and outside. However, I’m not sure why anyone would choose to go to Corner Bakery over the restaurants in the area. Not because corner bakery is bad or anything(more on this later), but because there are other restaurants that are full service and serve really great food. I can understand choosing Corner Bakery as a cheaper option… But it’s actually not. I’ve been to corner bakery more than a couple of times so I have a feel for the pricing and the food served now. The prices are under $ 10, yes, but I don’t think the amount of food I get is filling. And if you’re going to be ordering double the food, you might as well go somewhere nice and pay the same price for food that will fill you up. Their best deal is the ½ sandwich/side combo but ½ a sandwich is so LITTLE! Especially if you’re having a panini. They do give chips for free with all their orders but I came to eat their actual food, not the chips. I wish they had bigger portions but the food itself isn’t bad. I really like their Caesar salad. And their vegetarian panani is really good. I wouldn’t consider this place to be super healthy though. In terms of restaurants around, yes. But it’s not all greens and vegetables! Which isn’t a problem but I just wanted to warn those who want to come here because it’s super healthy or whatnot. Overall, I am probably not going to eat at Corner Bakery again. I say this but I feel like I’ll find myself here again and then regret it again. It’s honestly just because of the portion sizes. The service and food are okay.

Came here to meet someone for a job interview yesterday around 11. I ended up staying to have lunch. I go to the Simi valley location all the time with my Dad. I got their chicken Caesar salad, since that is my favorite at Corner bakery. I have to say, at this location I was not impressed. Salad was old, dressing was lacking. Chicken was not plentiful like Simi either. I was starving after driving 1 hr 15 mins in traffic from the valley. Service was decent though. its a busy location but plenty of parking. It gets very loud in here, so do not expect a quiet conversation. Would not come back to this location, much better choices in the area.

I used to really love Corner Bakery, but now maybe my expectations are higher. The food is actually tasty but the prices are too high for what you get. I used to love the Club Panini but since I ask for it without tomatoes, it is SUPER thin. It basically just looks like 2 pieces of bread grilled together. If you look at the website, the paninis look much larger. For their salads you can choose café size or entrée size. On my most recent visit I ordered the café size Chopped Salad. My total was over $ 8 for only the salad which consists of mainly lettuce with cheese, a little avocado and some bacon. There is no chicken on it, so why did I pay $ 8 for iceberg lettuce? They do offer combos under 600 calories if that is your thing, so that could be helpful. Corner Bakery will do in a pinch but I should probably choose elsewhere to get larger positions for the cost.
