Creactive

After talking with several SEO companies, I decided to take a shot with Creactive. While their low, monthly fees are nothing that will break the bank, as a small business owner, every bill matters. What matters more, is time. They informed me that it would take 30 to 90 days to see results, which I waited for. Patiently. Then, after some amount of time, I decided to google my company name and… WE MADE THE FIRST PAGE ON GOOGLE. I have never seen anything like it. Never imagined this could actually be real. But they made it happen! There are ups and downs with results, which has been explained to me, but now I understand a bit of how this works and that the folks at Creactive know what they are doing when it comes to this stuff. I am grateful to have this component of my marketing taken care of and I can focus on my business. I am looking forward to bringing in the new year with lots of new customers! Thank you very much, Creactive.

This will be my last reply to Ryan before I waste any more of my time
First off I didn’t threaten to write a bad review. I specifically wrote that my purpose wasn’t to bash Creactive, but to tell the truth, which unfortunately was a bad experience. In fact, his last email to me seemed more like a threat.
Now, when I signed up with creative I originally asked for my website to be done in 7 days and they agreed. Then I felt bad for rushing them, so I agreed to 10 days. Only when it was getting close to the 10 day deadline that Brittany, their writer and one of the the nicest people despite some of the stuff she said told me that they needed more time because they have other websites to work on and websites usually takes longer than promised. I was pissed, but I told her that that would be okay if I was told that ahead of time because I planned my schedule around the 10 day deadline. I told all of my friends, family and potential clients that my website would be launched some time the week of Sept 14^th. Well I basically had to announce to everyone that I lied.
As for my «demeanor» well yeah I was frustrated, stressed, anxious, etc, you know the common feelings new business owners get when they don’t have a website to present to their potential clients weeks before their grand opening. My emotions might have seeped through in my emails, but I was never rude to Brittany.
Andrew was the person who called me and signed me up. Brittany was the person I emailed back and fourth with and spoke to the most, and I spoke to Ryan once. The only other time I’ve communicated with him was through emails after he dropped me as a client as far as I remembered.
Majority of the time I’M the one reaching out to them. I was also the one who reached out when they decided to extend my deadline from 10 days to 15 days. Again, it would have been fine if I got a heads up, but it was upsetting to wonder if I never reached out to them would they even have bothered to tell me that they needed more time on my website?
Just to clarify, I don’t want the website, but I need something to show people until I can create a new website. I want the domain. The domain is basically the name of my business, Serene LIfe Spa and since I refuse to buy back my domain, I have to come up with a different domain. The website has pretty much been created, and I was promised a refund and the website if I was unhappy. Look, if I just wanted a free website out of this I would have let them finished it, and then let them know my feelings, but instead I let them know before they had the chance to complete my website. I told them how I felt, what I wanted, and gave them an option to continue to work with me or not because say, if they didn’t, then at least they didn’t spend the extra time finishing my website. I did it out of courtesy knowing that it wouldn’t benefit me. Out of courtesy, I think I should have been given the domain. A lot of people are probably thinking it’s only $ 29 just buy it back, but at this point it’s not even about the money it’s the principal.
From what it seems like money is a big deal to Ryan. Making me feel bad by him and his team consistently reminding me that I’m paying less than everyone else is apparently not enough, so he had to make sure the whole world know exactly how good of a deal I was getting. To be honest, I would rather pay more if it meant I would have been more valued as a customer.
Ultimately, I don’t think Creactive understood where I was coming from as a new business owner. I explained to them why a good website is so important to me and I guess I will explain it here. I am young and starting a business so I don’t have the finance to rent a prestige location which is super important in the spa industry. I believe in my services and ability so I found something affordable in a not so good location. I have a 0 percent chance of ever seeing a walk in client, so my website is the first impression of my spa. My website have to impress the potential client enough to want to give me a chance.
I will admit I am a perfectionist and I am picky because I care so much about my business. And because of that I hold a very high standard. I’m also a girl (not trying to disrespect girls because I am one too obviously) so my first reaction when I see something I don’t like is to freak out. I probably could have said some nicer things in my emails to the web designers so i want to apologize to them. I’ve seen your other work, you guys are great, it’s just unfortunate it didn’t work out for me.
My opinion stays the same about Ryan. His reply to my review and his last email to me truly showed his character
