Pretty much stalked Chrissa since she left Chill Salon in Long Beach… finally found her and I couldn’t be happier. Love her!

I was recommended to Chrissa by 2 of my friends. I had been looking for a stylist to cut my hair for quite some time and was having no luck. I have fine, curly hair which needed a cut that would give it shape and volume. I was apprehensive about letting just anyone cut it because I didn’t want to make matters worse. Chrissa is a godsend. She got me in on short notice and worked WONDERS with my hair. I’m so happy to have found a salon home.

Chrissa has been doing my hair for so long that I do not even remember when I started going to her. This location is just fabulous.
The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. I love this place.
Chrissa really knows her stuff. I have curly hair and I cannot recommend her enough for the curly haired gals.

Chrissa to the rescue, and she knows curls! We are so happy to find this curly hair salon. My 14 year old daughter has curly hair, and needed to get her hair ready for the 8^th grade Graduation picture. She trimmed her hair, texturized it, styled it so it will still be pretty for the next day’s pictorials. She then taught us how to style it, and taught my daughter how to take care of her curls. My daughter loves her new hair, and loves Chrissa’s lively personality.

Chrissa is so great in every way! I drive all the way down from Westlake Village, CA (in traffic all the way) because she cuts my salt and pepper hair perfectly. The shape of my shoulder-​length wavy-​curly hair looks beautiful — did I actually say that? – (up or down) even as it grows out during the several months between appointments. Worth the trip and the friendship!

I’ve been coming to Daeya for a while. I made a horrible decision about a year ago and went somewhere else. My hair was ruined and I called Chrissa hoping she would see past my errant ways. She did her usual magic. I have curly, frizzy, course, sometimes straight hair and Charissa knows her stuff. I’ve learned my lesson and will continue to come here. I cannot recommend Daeya Salon enough. Prices are more than reasonable. She also sells the Mixed Chicks products which I completely love. Chrissa is the best ever :-)

I left my stylist of 10 years for her. I was going to make a huge change and chop my then waist length hair to rock a curly fro. I salon shopped after my hair stylist was awesome enough to say she didn’t know how to go about that style. After almost 10 shops and stylists that made me want to hide my hair to avoid the dreaded bad hair cut that I knew would follow, Chrissa was a breath of fresh air!
The salon itself is amazing! Great location, beautiful design and décor– including artwork by her equally talented husband, wonderful smelling candles, great products for us curly heads, and reggae music! It was like coming home.
Chrissa is fabulous: sweet, smart and talented. She too has curly hair, so she gets it– the frustration, the joy!
I originally planned on going back to my stylist after the initial cut and well it is going on almost 3 years and I have yet to even think about going elsewhere. I now travel from the LA area just for the peace of mind of a good cut. She is the BEST! I can’t possibly say more positive things about her.
Try her, you too will embrace, love and have pride in your curls! I simply tolerated them before and looked forward to the labor intensive process of straightening it just to have some relief. Now, I rarely go straight and look forward to the wash that brings back my beautiful curls!

This is the only place I get my hair cut anymore, because I know it will be done right. Chrissa is amazing at cutting and styling my crazy curls, plus she uses my favorite hair products (Mixed Chicks). The salon has a great soundtrack playing, and the ambiance is very relaxed, but professional. I’ve never been to a place like this that actually knows how to properly attend to my hair, and I hope I never have to look for another.

Love Ms. Chrissa & I love this salon! Very down to earth and chill and she knows what she’s doing! They also have great hair products for mixed ladies like myself!

See Maria Sandoval for all your Esthetician needs! I have been gong to her for the past 5 – 6 years at another day spa in HB, and she recently moved to Daeya and I followed. She is super friendly and professional, and her results are top notch. Not to mention she is reasonably priced! I have referred a few friends to her, and they are absolutely happy with her as well.

I had what you can call a «hair emergency». I had this bright idea to dye my hair at home, with some assistance, but it definitely did not go as planned. The great part about it is that I have my engagement photos this weekend, so I needed to look my best! I called Chrissa in complete panic and she was able to fit me in.
My hair was about a zillion different colors and it was not working for me. Chrissa was able to even it out and not make me look like a mad woman. She also showed me how to style my hair in its natural curliness! And on top of that she sales these great products that I currently use called Mixed Chicks, its great especially if you have naturally curly hair.

I have followed Chrissa where ever she has gone as she is the best stylist I have ever had. I have very fine, limp, hair and she makes it look great because she knows how to give a precision hair cut. I am always recieving compliments on my hair. For many years, I have thought that Chrissa should own her own salon and at last she does! The salon a perfect reflection of who she is. It is beautifully appointed, warm, inviting, and peaceful. A great place to let the stress go. It is centrally located in Huntington Beach so there is lots to do if you have the time and it only takes me 20 minutes from PCH in Long Beach. Hats off to Chrissa!!!

I would go anywhere to get my hair done by Chrissa Morton, who now owns the Daeya Salon!!! Her personality and expertise make regular hair appointments a treat. She listens to me when I’m ready for changes, and she lets me know when my ideas may not work out. I’m now at the point where I basically let her have free reign of my hair because she’s never given me anything but perfection.
I have always loved my hair since seeing Chrissa. Even up until the day before an appointment I get compliments. She knows color and my hair so well that she knows how it will fade or grow out and works to make it look great until my next appointment. Everyone I have referred loves her.
I have followed her to a couple of different locations as she outgrew every place lucky enough to have her. She was last at Chill in Belmont Shore. Although she definitely left her design and personality mark on Chill, the drive to HB is worth it for a trip to her new salon and to get a «Chrissa» hairstyle :).
Daeya is a fun, comfortable space with easy parking and accessibility. It’s filled with gorgeous paintings done by her husband, and has a really cool island style and vibe. I’m told they’ll soon offer spray tans, yay!

Huntington Beach, you are now the proud recipient of the best stylist Long Beach use to brag about. She just left «CHILL SALON» on 2^nd. street to finally open her own salon in H.B. on Main Street. I can only call meeting Chrissa one of those chance meetings that may not have happened. You see I think Chrissa made a wrong turn one day while she was driving around her home town of H.B. and ended up in L.B. just so I could finally end my ²¹⁄₂ year search for a stylist that could do more than make my husband hide his head when I came home after another one of the 9 stylist’s I had tried to color my hair (you see auburn isn’t easy to color). Although I miss only having to drive 3 minutes to have my hair styled and colored while Chrissa was in L.B. (I still live in L.B.), I gladly make the thirty minute drive to H.B. because (1) Chrissa is that good, and (2) I am sooooo happy that she took the big leap and opened her own salon! So while those who live in L.B. have to hang their heads and mourn their loss, (except for those of us who still drive to your town) you in H.B. can cheer the arrival of your native sister back home and GO AND SEE HER!!! Believe me you will love the experience.
