Del Taco

Avocado from last week? Brown lettuce? Never again… do the workers even look at what they serve in the drive through… if I weren’t home, I’d return the salad.

I hate when I ask for Del Scorcho at the drive thru and I get Mild Sauce but I especially hate fries that don’t taste fresh and are soft/​soggy.

Just got out of soccer practice and I have 4 kids that were really hungry, but we couldn’t agree on where to eat. I made the executive decision to do Del Taco because it was the closest field we were at. I’m giving it 3.5 stars for fast food, but 4 is the highest for fast food in my opinion. The server was young and he was very helpful (me not knowing what to order). The food came out fast and it tasted pretty good!

The only thing good about them is their fries. They advertise the veggie fresca bowl being full of food, having veggies, cilantro and salsa and you get the complete opposite. There’s barely any food and it looks disgusting. I didn’t want to pay almost $ 5 to not even eat it.

Last weekend I was sitting at home by myself when I began to feel my hunger growing. I was in the mood for no particular food, all I wanted was something quick, cheap, and close to my house. So, I took a drive up the street to Yorktown Avenue in Huntington Beach, which is very near my house, and a Del Taco immediately caught my eye.
I drove into the drive-​through line, which went by at a decent pace. I ordered four double beef classic tacos for about $ 5. $ 5 for four tacos? That is pretty cheap and was the best part of the meal. The tacos themselves were decent. I enjoy them, but they are nothing near authentic tacos. The service was also decent, as expected for a cheap fast food restaurant.
Overall, my experience at Del Taco was average. Service was not great nor poor and the food satisfied my hunger. The prices for the food, however, were very good and is hence the reason for my recommendation for traveling to Del Taco to purchase food.

I’ve been going to this del taco for years… Never had any problems. Anyway, I decided to try one of the new bowls advertised. There was a piece of clear plastic in it! Then, this past Wednesday night, I had 2 fish tacos. Today is Friday and I haven’t eaten solid food since. I’ve been on the toilet ever since. I know it was the fish taco because my girlfriend had a bean burrito and a chicken taco and she was fine.

great and fast food but one lady that works there is so rude to the kids. she kicks them out even when they pay for food! I was just about to buy food until I saw her doing this. I’m just going to go to Taco Bell

I went in ordered my food and saw the food workers making my burrito. The woman making my burrito was wiping her nose with her hand and fingers over and over again and touching my food. None of the food workers handling the food had on rubber gloves as required by law. One of the food handlers came out and emptied the trash can then went back to making food without washing their hands! I asked for my money back and will never eat there again!

Warning: Drive-​thru is always… EXTREMELY… SL000W. Yesterday, I had to wait 20 minutes to get my order– with 3 cars in front of me. Last time I checked, I was at Del Taco, not In-​N-​Out. Every time I finally get to the window, an employee apologizes politely… and I’m like, «FML! Now I have mixed feelings about this place. Am I supposed to feel mad or sad?» lol. It’s all good. I guess I forgive you.

Countless times have I stopped at this Del taco because it is the most convenient location for me to stop by on my way home from work. Their inability to get my order right is borderline intentional at this point… I don’t know what I did to these people, but 9 out of 10 times something isn’t as I ordered.
Another thing… No matter how many times I ask for INFERNO hot sauce, they will give me mild… It is literally EVER SINGLE TIME!
I love del taco, but enough is enough. There is a taco bell close by that never screws up my order…

Always slow! Service is fine if you go inside, but drive through is ultimately slow ALL the time! The fries taste like fish and are over-​cooked, the tacos and burritos have barely any meat (if that’s what they call it!). Don’t waste your time or money! I spent 30 min in drive through and just about chewed my right arm off waiting for fast, cheap, horrible-​tasting tex-​mex

Because this is a block away from where I live, I’ve noticed that I’ve been coming here quite often after a night of drinking. Its convenient going through the drive-​thru and grabbing some chicken soft tacos at midnight! The workers are really great with hot sauces and napkins!

Del Taco is Del Taco and I always love it. I have been to many many locations and I can never complain. I went to this location today and my chili cheese fries were overflowing and just the right temperature. My chicken soft taco was stuffed full of fresh chicken and the perfect balance of lettuce, sauce, and cheese. This is one of the best locations I have been to. Yum!

My favorite Del Taco spot, this location has the best fresh ingredients, i love the breakfast scrambler and the chicken soft tacos.

I don’t come here for the food, I cum here for the service! This afternoon I was greeted by a waitress about 4’1″ with crystal blue eyes and sweater melons the size of rancho cucamonga! She gave me cheese on my tacos. They were all out of salsa so I ordered mustard on my nachos free of charge! The ice cream was chocolate cupcake cheesecake flavored. Vanilla is an extra twenty cents if you want it on your cheeseburger (I don’t!). Try the candy bars!!!

How do you cure a bad day?
½ lb bean and cheese burrito with extra cheese and mild sauce.
Yeup.

I ordered a Soft Taco & Jalapeño Rings for $ 2.48.
The Beef and Cheese were very good and went great with Del Scorcho Sauce.
The Jalapeño Rings were crispy and pack a great punch of spice.
A great spicy meal from this Drive Thru.

Sigh… the guy that took my order was SUPER nice. He was SUPER nice when he asked me to pull around because our fried Mac ‘n Cheese bites weren’t ready. He was SUPER nice when he brought out said fried Mac ‘n Cheese bites.
The fried Mac ‘n Cheese bites tasted like funnel cake…
Dude, you may be SUPER nice but change your oil. It’s SUPER nasty
