I’ve been invited here twice for their fundraising dining events and for an Easter egg hunt. First was Spaghetti Night, the spaghetti and meatballs were pretty good and tasty and came with a side salad and garlic bread, also very good. The second event was the Annual All You Can Eat Crab Crack. I’m not a huge fan of crab, but hey, it’s for a good cause. It was BYO fixings, extras, and tools if you wanted. We were so excited we even went out and bought ourselves a crab cracker and seafood forks. With such a large crowd, there was a lottery where table numbers were randomly chosen for people to line up to be served. Although we had a bit of a wait for our table #16 to be called, we were famished by this time but, cheered loudly FINALLY!!! The crab legs were HUGE and very dense! There was even the same spaghetti served along side with yummy, delicious coleslaw. Mmmm… the coleslaw… yes, although a side dish, it was THAT good! I even asked for the recipe. The most disappointing part of this ALLYOUCANEATCRABCRACK… it wasn’t ALLYOUCANEAT as noted on our tickets AND our fun crab cracker and seafood forks that we just bought before we came to this event were stolen from our table settings when we went to the restroom to wash our hands… C’mon…REALLY??? I know it’s that shady couple who sat next to us… and lastly the crab was cold. Generally the lodge members are good people and do a lot to help out the community, but unfortunately there are a few crabby members here too.
