Emerald Cut Salon

3-​stars for the actual Salon and 5-​stars for one of the stylists there, Nattie. That makes Emerald Cut a 4 star Salon. It’s a decent place, tucked away in a corner of a strip mall type complex, near a Jiffy Lube, so it can be easy to miss.
It’s not as posh as some other salons, but the stylists there are great, especially Nattie, as I just previously mentioned. She has been cutting my hair for years, and always does such a great job! She really knows how to cut my hair, and takes good care of her customers.
The actual Salon is still decent, too. They have a wide selection of hair and beauty products. The décor and stations are all very clean and modern as well. A little on the small side, though, but still a nice space.

Dyanne does not work here any longer. Owner is very friendly and nice. She recommended Christine to color my hair. Unfortunately, there was a communication problem and my hair was not done the way I asked. I did not let her cut my hair because I was scared to so I cannot comment on the haircut quality. Owner was very apologetic and offered to redo it the following week, but I would not go back there again because of the communication difficulties. Went back to my regular stylist to have it fixed. I don’t think any of the stylists mentioned in the earlier reviews work here any longer.

Kym has been cutting my hair for several years now, I followed her over from her last place.
As I said in my review of her previous salon, she really has a great talent in addition to being a beautiful girl.
In my opinion, the test of a good haircut is how it looks as it grows in. Kym knows how to cut my hair so that even if I’m a week or two late in getting it cut it stills look good.
This salon is a nice place, the other stylists seem to be real pros too, and I am very comfortable here.
It’s worth the price just to have your hair washed by a girl with long nails. Maybe it’s just me, but now I understand why dogs shake their leg when you scratch behind their ears…
Give it a shot, if you don’t walk out of here better looking and with a smile on your face, there’s something wrong with you.

I get my hair done here because Lisa is here. =D She has been my hair stylist for 5 years and she’s awesome! I follow whichever salon she goes to because she knows exactly how I want my hair to be. She always gets the color and cut exactly how I like it. I always leave the salon happy with my hair. =)
She’s only there during Sundays and appts only.

This place is really clean, and has a very relaxing atmposhere. My go-​to gal is LISA… she’s seriously the best and the only person I trust with my hair!!! I always get my hi-​lites done by her and she’s real cool. She’s veryfriendly and patient as well. I saw the owner during their re-​grand opening and the owner seems to be really nice and is kickback. Love the wallpaper too =)

I got a fantastic cut and color from Fallyn. The vibe of the salon is very chic and modern and this was also the hairstyle I got… a sassy modernization of my same old cut and a great, unique color. The owner is tons of fun and we had a great time chatting. I also got a lovely glass of white wine during my service, which was a nice touch. I would have taken the proffered refill but had to drive home! :) I was very pleased with my experience but did receive a special promotional price. At full price I won’t be able to go too often. With tip I spent $ 90 on a cut/​color (w/​foil) with the special discount, free haircut with color service.
