Endless Summer Tanning Salon

I bought a 1 month tanning membership from Living Social… and am pretty disappointed. I have been 4 – 5 times already, and have gotten barely any color. The salon is supposed to open at 10 am. The last time I went (got there at 10:40), there was a sign on the door saying they would be opening at 10:45. Ok… no biggie… only 5 minutes. Another woman was waiting as well. Well… we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally as we were about to give up (11:02) they opened. The other woman waiting said they have opened late several times since she has been going. The guy who opened the salon gave us an excuse about traffic, blah, blah, blah. I asked if it would be possible to get a bed upgrade for the day for the inconvenience… and he laughed and sent me to a regular bed. I will continue to go to Endless Tanning for the remainder of the month, since I have already paid… BUT…I do NOT recommend, and I will not go back after my month is up. I recommend Rockstar Tan in Cypress. The bulbs in their beds are REALLY strong, they give free lotion samples every now and then, and 1x a week you get a free bed upgrade (Wednesdays I think?)!! This JEWEL of a tanning salon is tucked away in a HB strip mall. It is easy to miss it, but once you know about it, you will never forget it. It is truly a best kept secret. During my first visit, I was greeted by a friendly staff member. During my second visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Connie, the owner. She is extremely knowledgeable about her products and takes pride in her services. She offers beauty services such as facials, waxing, feather hair extensions and more.
Endless summer has a variety of bed types and is VERY CLEAN. Connie set up a nice vanity area where you can refresh and put on your make up. She also offers a variety of fragrances for the customers to spritz on. I thought it as a nice touch. The place is filled with little nuances that indicate that she cares about the customers, cleanliness, customer service and appearance. On top of all of this, the prices are VERY REASONABLE. I’ve been to many overpriced and beat up tanning salons. I really enjoy this one because it hits all the marks and is very affordable.

Once I signed up here I actually felt embarrassed and ashamed of myself, since I had been tanning in the LBC for the past year. Why wouldnt I tan close to home, right? And tanning is tanning, is it not? Um, its not. And it sure has changed alot since the days of yore when I belonged to Blazing Beds on Warner. I was awestruck as the girl gave me a full on tour of all the beds, she really must have thought I was hood. The beds are gorgeous, they have insane varieties of them (face lamps, one is concave so its liek your in a tube and it gets your whole body, not missing the sides…). My LB spot doesnt even give complimentary goggles! I asked her how much for the plastic ones and she was like. «uh. you can buy them but we give re-​usable ones each time.» The difference is, of course, in the price. Its spensy. But my package for the basic bed was only about $ 10 more than the LB spot, and it has a BUILT IN RADIO/​SPEAKERS! Plus, the bulbs were CLEARLY stronger, and they let you tan 20min, whereas at the old spot they max you out at 15min!!! I love the LBC, but somethings, they really are just better in the Newport/​Hb area.
