After a nightmare of an experience with GE Appliance repair last year I am so happy to have found this company. Chris is an amazing technician, very friendly with a wealth of knowledge and information. He needed to order the part for my built in refrigerator and was here the following day to install it. He had the 1−5pm available and I told him I needed to leave by 5Pm and he said no problem I will be here before then, and he was. The big companies definitely are not flexible or accommodating in this way. I highly recommend this company.

Had Chris repair a washer who’s door leaked and a dryer who’s door switch had failed. He came, gave an estimate, did the work and charged exactly what he estimated. All within a matter of an hour. He knows his stuff and doesn’t rip you off with add on charges.

The positive reviews were right. They fixed my dishwasher. Gave me money saving advice and I could not be more pleased. Highly recommend.

Excellent service! Professional office and competent technician. Issue was fixed quickly because office relayed LG washer model info to the tech in the field. Chris showed up to troubleshoot quickly and had the part with him making the whole process efficient and fairly priced.

The most honest appliance repairman I’ve ever seen. I got a quote to replace a drain pump from Airflow for $ 385. I called First Source for a second opinion since the airflow’s repair guy seemed a little shady. Over the phone he told me that it wouldn’t need a drain pump as he has never seen one go bad on a Bausch. He even told me what’s wrong with it. And he was right. It cost me $ 85. He is good and honest repairman and a very nice guy. I highly recommend him.

Honestly, most repairmen would say that our KitchenAid refrigerator couldn’t be fixed, they would then haul it away and fix it and resell it. This baby would cost us $ 10,000 to replace! Chris is amazing — although the part can’t be purchased anywhere, he knew where to mail it to in order to get it fixed. The repair was incredibly affordable and no one else would have given us this information!
Chris’s motto is: «It is a challenge for me to fix the appliances that other repairmen have said can’t be fixed.»

All I can say is what a great experience I had with this company, Chris the owner, as well as his office staff. I received very prompt service and a very fair price. I would highly recommend this company and if I ever have a need for a refrigerator repair again, this is the first place I’ll call.

Short version = they helped me solve an appliance issue over the phone
Long version = out of the blue one afternoon our GE oven began displaying an «F2» error code and was relentlessly beeping. we could not stop the beeping and could not use the oven. I called CJs and they basically reset the oven for me over the phone and that was it. no more beeping and oven is working fine again. obviously this was a ‘quick fix’ for the problem and they recommended replacing the temperature sensor asap.
Super friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. I will call them immediately next time I have any appliance issues. Highly recommend.

The Good: This place has some of the best service I’ve had on any repairs. He was early, a hour actually, and had the problem finished in like 20 – 30 mins. As he was working on the problem we chatted and he gave me some good advice on maintenance and a bit of a money saver, only use a teaspoon of detergent for the front loading high efficient washers. Thanks to a square they take credit cards so paying is super quick and easy.
The Bad: There’s a $ 65 house visit charge. Why do people still charge for a house call? I get free pizza delivery, free Amazon shipping, free visits on my cable, gas, termite guy. It just seems like a way to get more money. It should be $ 65 and applied to the service like auto dealerships. I get it, you don’t want to go to a place and have them say no to service and be out money for a trip.
The Ben: Chris did waive the labor for installing my part because he feels like it’s a defective part and should be replaced anyways. Good for me otherwise a door lock would have went from $ 150 to $ 210 for a 7 year old washer which is probably worth $ 200. Things seem not worth repairing and I should have just replaced it. He also gives a 90 day warranty on parts, most companies give a 30 day so there’s that.

Chris really went to bat for me to find the part for my fridge that no body had a job very well done.

I used this company a few months ago as a warranty call for Frigidaire for my dishwasher. Two companies had been called out prior and were disrespectful, dishonest, and not helpful.
I searched Unilocal reviews prior to accepting the next company that Frigidaire booked me with, which was CJ’s. Rebecca was amazing in working around my hectic schedule. When Chris arrived, he discovered the problem and ordered the parts. Months went by before the parts arrived and it took a great deal of haggling with Frigidaire, but they worked diligently to get the parts necessary to fix my dishwasher.
Recently I had another problem with my stove and attempted to make another appointment with CJ’s. Unfortunately, Frigidaire is such a horrible brand that CJ’s will not accept warranty calls from them anymore, so I had to make an appointment with another company.
However, when the warranty expires, or if a different appliance breaks, I will be calling CJ’s because they were honest and did not try to charge for items that were not necessary to fix like the other companies tried to do. I also appreciate how willing they were to work my schedule.

I’ve used CJ’s about three times for my LG washer and dryer. They are fair and honest and on-​time.

The part our broken oven needed is no longer made. Chris coached us through buying one on ebay, then installed it. Now that’s what I call complete service.

This is the best company for dishwasher repair. Believe me I contacted 4 other companies at one time I was trying to go through the warranty and after how those companies were, I ended up going with CJ’s. They were helpful and they knew what they were fixing and did not give me the run around at all. This will be my go to company anytime in the future that I need appliance repair. Stay away from any companies in Long Beach, I had one company come out and spent several hours trying to fix it and left and never called me back or would return calls. CJ’s was helpful and nice and flexible with coming out to fix the dishwasher. The best company! I am just happy I finally found the one!

Chris came the day after I called requesting service. He arrived with the 4-​hour window, calling ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He fixed the latch on our Bosch 800 series dishwasher very quickly — no parts needed to be ordered. He cleaned up nicely when he was done. He was very reasonably priced.

Ordered a new oven to be installed, the first attempt was unsuccessful because the oven area had to be cut down so installation couldn’t get finished. The second attempt it was installed but didn’t work correctly, and on the third attempt, they figured out there was a loose wire and now everything seems to be working great. Thank you for your service, it was time efficient for the issues that we had.

Nasty Kitchenaid dishwasher wouldn’t fill with water to clean, but every other function was working.
Chris tried to troubleshoot over the phone Friday to save me a service call. That did not do it over the weekend, so I promised to call again Monday. Jeremy showed up as promised. He figured the problem out in minutes! No parts needed: no $ 60 inlet switch & valve assembly or $ 45 float valve/​switch. Jeremy went through all the functions of this computerized nightmare and made sure it was 100%. He also politely made a recommendation as to which brand and price point to replace it with eventually when we replace the K-​aid.
What a guy! Thank you Chris, thank you Jeremy! Another customer for life.

Our 13 year old double built-​in Whirlpool oven was displaying a E6 F2 error on the digital display. It would intermittently go off for long periods, and then come back on. Called Whirlpool. They referred us to several appliance repair business in the near area, including Huntington Beach where we live. I Unilocaled some and to our surprise many received one star and one comment mentioned negative stars if possible. CJ Appliance repair had excellent reviews, and we learned why.

Made an appointment. Jeremy arrived the next day; removed and examined the main control board. Diagnosed that it was fried, and that replacements were no longer available. Jeremy mentioned that a company in IL – «Core-​Sentric” – rebuilds them. I thought I could find one somewhere online. I made an internet search; several phone calls to no avail. Called Jeremy again. He came out the next morning, removed the board, and I sent it out to «Core-​Sentric» where the control board was rebuilt. They sent it back within a week. Jeremy came over the day after we received it; installed it quickly and the oven has been working like a charm.
Their prices are reasonable; they are prompt, courteous, professional and competent, and I feel they saved me a load of money for not having to replace the oven.

Finally found a good appliance repair place! Came the very next day and fixed our washer quick and without a mess! Price was great too! Thank u!

Jeremy and Chris are the best in all of Orange County period.
They own the place and they both are out in the trenches.
They diagnosed and knew what the problem was on my stackable.
They ordered the parts and fixed both the electrical issue and the leak issue.
They include as part of their service fee the labor – many do not. t
