I just had my husband’s 30th birthday party here and I can’t say enough about how great this place was. Erika was so helpful with the reservation and our service was great the whole night. It’s very tough to find a place to host a big group(we had about 30 people) without being charged an arm and a leg or being forced to have a fixed dinner menu. Some people chose to order food while others just had drinks and played pool. The prices here are fair and the space was perfect. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends.

This was our third time at this place and it seems to get better every time. We were going for a late lunch but ended up with an early dinner. The food was very good, the service personable and efficient and the atmosphere pleasant. It wasn’t at all busy but those who were there seemed to have a good time. If they keep this up, this place definitely has promise.

Came here on Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend before painting at Hidden Talents across the lot. I’ve been here a couple times before, so I’m giving a two star review because of the cool ambiance at night. He got the nachos, which were okay. A bit greasy, even for nachos, but they were yummy enough. The waitress was very helpful and put the salsa, guac, sour cream, and pico de gallo to the side because my sweetie is a picky eater. I made the mistake of getting the ahi salad. Worst ahi salad I’ve ever had. For one thing, there was really no flavor to the ahi, except for the overly-fishy scent that went with it. I couldn’t even finish eating it, it was that bad. Not bad enough to send it back, but bad enough to never get the ahi there again. But it got worse! Just a few hours later, I’m racked with terrible diarrhea! Not exactly a romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day. Seeing as that was all I had eaten that day, I have no question that the ahi salad was the culprit.

My fiancé and I stopped in. Have not been there since the change of ownership. Ordered beers at the bar that was ok bartender seemed nice. they painted looks better. Went and played a game of pool. Next game some balls were stuck in the table so we asked one server for some help, 5 minutes later we asked 2nd server. Wait 5 more minutes asked 2nd server again… it was not busy in there by the way… went up to the bartender and said i had asked the servers 3 times to fix the table can we get some help. As I walked away my fiancé said the bartender was shaking his head to another server behind my back. Like i was lying?. We are locals saw this place change ownership because of poor management. Not sure why they chose to ignore us maybe because we are not 20 or 30?

This used to be House of Brews… They have given this place a total overhaul, looks great, service was excellent, I had a lemon drop cocktail and it was perfect! Love that they serve craft beer and have great TV’s to watch the game! I will be back!

Great beer selection! Good menu, which we hear is expanding and excellent space. Glad to see a new restaurant in this spot. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my little family.

Stopped in for lunch at 12:30. There were only 2 other customers in there, so I kind of thought that might be a bad sign. Service was as expected and the server/bartender tended to my needs and was pleasant. Nice selection of beers on tap. The burger I had was over seasoned, but was tolerable. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. It looks to be a nice place to visit on the weekend to watch sports, but I probably wont be back.

To be honest anything would be better than house of brews, the previous restaurant but this nww one is pretty good. An expanded tap list and the food tastes great. I’ll elaborate later in what we ate, but it was all good. 10x better than he previous.

This was my first time here since it used to be the House of Dudes. Pretty much looks the same except for some new paint slapped on the walls. I used to go to House of Brews a LOT to watch the Laker games on Friday, so I was disappointed by the new menu which has a much smaller selection. I had the Chinese chicken salad and it was pretty bad. The dressing was oily and I suspect the chicken was a chopped processed«chicken» breast. Also had the Rackhouse flatbread and that wasn’t so good either. It came out cold, had too much cheese, and the pesto was bland. Too bad. There was nothing wrong with good ol’ House of Dudes.

I have been to Harbour Rackhouse 3 times now with friends to watch football and with the girls for lunch. Lots of TVs which is great for games, great décor, and a bunch of pool tables which the husbands seem to love. The food has been great(especially the ahi avocado and the chipotle chicken sandwich:), and after reading the previous reviews, I had to try the moscow mule which has become one of my favorites. I’m not big on reviews, but I wanted to post one because this is a great place to go locally for sporting events that actually serves great food and good cocktails. I’m not really into craft beers but i guess they have a good beer selection as well. Probably be back this weekend!

Sitting here right now watching the bartender do shots(no one watching), saw him make a cocktail for himself With whiskey; beer? He’s hiding it on the beer well(see picture) As a professional bartender with over 15 years experience that is grounds for termination. Wow! Where is the owner? This guy Scott used to work here when it was house of brews. I remember him. I think it’s time to ‘reel’ him in. Been watching him drink the past hour on your tab! He’s got you fooled big time Lol

So I’ve been going to the Marlin Bar(my go-to bar) on Springdale and Edinger pretty much every Saturday to hang out with«the guys» and catch a couple of games, but I thought I would try something different for a change; I remembered Harbour Rackhouse used to be the House of Brews, and to be quite honest and frank about this place, I actually was not that impressed. Even around lunchtime(around 12:00 — 12:30), the place is still empty. There was only one bartender/waitress at the counter, whereas the Marlin Bar, there is usually either one or two bartenders tops. Now, onto the food: I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, and I expected both the chicken and the BREAD to be piping hot, but instead, it was lukewarm, but at least the sauce wasn’t watered down, so a plus for that. The fries on the side, though, tasted great, so a plus on that too. I have to say, though, for all of that food plus a soda equaled to a bit above $ 15 plus tip. A little over-priced, I’d say. For about the same price at the Marlin Bar, I could do a spicy crispy chicken club, fries, a soda, PLUS a bag of chips and a Bloody Mary. If this was to happen at the Harbour Rackhouse, that would have cost me a little over $ 20 including tip. So would I walk over from my house for 20 min. for a pricey lunch with mediocre food? I’ll save that extra $ 5 and pay $ 2.00 for the bus to the Marlin Bar. Same price to me. –1 star = Service –2 star = Lukewarm chicken and bread –1 star = Overpriced food

Came here on a football Sunday to find it less than half full, which is fine by me. They have NFL Sunday Ticket and don’t deem to hold allegiance to a specific team. The food was but a tad overpriced. $ 9 for two grilled veggie skewers in a pool of olive oil? $ 11 for a small flatbread? Cmon. Anyways, I’ll definitely return here for the football and the drinks, but probably not for a meal.

Recently remodeled and from what I can tell they are under new ownership. The location certainly looks a lot nicer. Décor has been upgraded, TVs are high quality. It’s spacious. Lots of pool tables. The menu is more modern, and it is small. If I see a small menu, I expect that the restaurant is really good at what they cook. All the meals here are just OK. decent enough that I wouldn’t complain if a friend wanted to come here, but not good enough that I’m going to come out of my way just to get that one item I have to have off of their menu. Seem like it might be a good place to come watch a game or a UFC fight, but haven’t tried that yet. I’ll probably be back, but won’t care too much if I never come again.

I kinda liked the House of Brews before the remodel. After the remodel… Well Bleh. One day I met a guy named Steve who said he bought the House of Brews and was going to make all kinds of changes. Well he did. Everything was simplified, and the rustic charm of the House of Brews is back with a better theme. I almost think he got the entire center remodeled to go along with the look. About the only thing left from the remodel are a few TV’s and the white marble bar tops. Happy hour wine and beer prices were pretty good, the menu wasn’t huge but it looked better than basic bar. Since I am gluten free there weren’t that many choices. I do have to say the Ahi-Avacado starter was pretty darn good. So good in fact I came back two days later and had another one. I ordered the bacon burger no bun and the cook forgot to give us some Aoli on the side. We didn’t notice until we were almost finished with the burger. It was good without it, so I have to guess it would be better with it. I’ll be back.

Nice remodel of the old House of Brews. I think they just opened and maybe having some growing pains. The food was pretty great, I had a mushroom bacon burger, hubby had the wings. Sat at the bar and received somewhat hit-miss service. The bartender, «I prefer not to name him» blew by several times while our drinks where clearly gone. He also seemed to be listening to every word we were saying in our conversation, yet seemed a tad offended when we mentioned we could have easily had 1 – 2 more drinks per but instead closed our tab. I believe this bar kid was totally green. I would give the food 5-stars but have to go with 3-Stars overall for the New Bartender. We will give it another shot in the future as we were told that of the old staff is still there. We must have missed them:-) Went back and decided to upgrade to 5 Stars. Service at the bar was awesome, we had the ghetto dogs. Very nice, drinks when we were thirsty.

This was our first time visiting this place after new ownership. The interior is much improved! No more ghostly white, no stange decorations, just a good ol fashion sports bar. 13 tv’s, bar, lounge, and pool tables! Whats not to like! Friendly service, staff is a bit green, but extremely eager to please. The menu is a bit short, but all items we tried were great! I cant wait to see how this place progresses over the next few weeks. I shall return to see how it goes. Something dont like personally, is when a drink is measured. Pour the drink, be confident. When a drink is measured, it seems cheap. My cocktail was super good, like i said, Its a preference thing. Give this place a whirl peeps!
