This location is smaller compare to other YMCA facilities but overall it’s great they have yoga Pilates cycling and Zomba classes at no extra charge plus many many more programs with any membership for parents of Lil ones don’t worry they have a child care which the fee is already included if you’re in the family plan I was very pleased to start exercising 6 weeks postpartum with my little one in the next room with a trusted CPR certified caretaker.

Best choice ever made! I encourage everyone I know to lose their over-​priced gyms and join the YMCA of HB! The class instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. They make all classes super fun. I have now been a member for over a year and plan to continue with my membership. Its so easy too. No yearly contract, just month to month. Lots of equipment and staff. There is even a free 7 day trial. Nice. Take a spinning class, body pump, yoga or combat class with instructors that are personable and only have words of encouragement.

I love this place. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. I especially enjoy the group classes geared toward the more «mature» population. Their hours open give my husband and I the flexibility to workout at our convenience which is definitely a plus with our schedule! It’s clean and comfortable. The TV’s, wifi and fans make it a very comfortable atmosphere!

I’ve been a member for about 6 months. The place has a friendly staff. Has a wide range of equipment and programs for people who are getting back in shape, and for the more serious athletes or workout enthusiasts. Monthly rates are fairly priced too.

This place is awesome! They have a big variety of various machines, from bikes to weight lifting equipment to most items I end up needing for my training regimen. The best part is that usually when I go, it’s not too crowded and I can usually get to most of the things I need without too long of a wait.
The group exercise classes are awesome too. I’ve tried the BodyPump class and the Yoga classes. Both were awesome and adapted really well to my page and strength needs. My favorite classes are the Saturdays and Sunday’s Yoga classes, they are very helpful in developing technique and in enjoying and practicing Yoga.
They have various events throughout the year too, such as recently there was a thing to try out the various different classes. I feel pricing is competitive, for a single person to just a single gym, they cost about $ 36.

I have trained in many gyms. When this gym was called Golds Gym, it was somewhat clean. Now that its the YMCA, this gym is so much cleaner.
I train here at all times of the day and I can tell just by looking around that overnight there is some kick ass cleaning going on. Just want to say

This is a great gym and they keep their equipment in great condition. Everyone there is very nice and positive. Doesn’t matter if you barely started working out or are a veteran. I highly recommend anyone that wants to better their life to get a pass here.

My whole family loves this Y. The kid zone is wonderful and my children always enjoy going which makes it much easier to get to the gym! They offer a large variety of classes-there’s something for everyone. The facility is clean and very friendly. We have been members for 2 years and it has been well worth it. It’s a great value for the money.

We have been long time family members since it was Golds Gym. YMCA is doing a better job of managing. The equipment works and is kept in good condition. The YMCA keeps the gym very clean.

Wonderful for moms with kids! Been going for a few years now, regularly 3 – 5 days a week. Bodyflow is my favorite and my girls love being in the kid zone! Cant beat the price!

I have been a longtime member dating all the way back to when it was Gold’s. The progress I have seen the gym make is great since the YA took over a few years back. The new machines are awesome. I love the classes they offer at no extra charge. Body pump is my favorite! Spin, body pump, yoga, boot camp. You name it. This is a great place to work out. No BS, just people looking to get fit!

I recently visited with my sister who’s a member at a Washington YMCA. Compared to her gym, she was less than thrilled about this Y. The staff were very nice and it was clean, but the size of the gym and offerings for kid programs are lacking. I have to revise my review after returning a few days later, though and give it one more star. The spin bikes are new and really great.

— – Cardio machines are in disrepair
— – Men’s shower room is ALWAYS flooded
— – All 3 showers have broken heads
— – In a period of extreme drought, there is no effort (ie: signage) to encourage efficient shower usage. I have witnessed people taking 20 minute showers. The YMCA should take a leadership role in water conservation, yet they do nothing.
— – There is no monitoring of machine usage. Some individuals place their belonging on a machine for as long as two hours as they bounce between weight training and cardio workouts. The cardio machine will stay «reserved» for one half hour intervals while the individual does other things.
To sum up. Machines in disrepair, shower head broken, shower room flooded, no effort to encourage water conservation and no monitoring of machine usage (or abuse).

Clean and new machines. It gets busy in the morning (no surprise) in the gym and kids’ club. I had no problem finding a machine and doing my routine. Locker room is clean and well-​equipped with lockers, showers, soap, and weigh scale. Classes are quite popular (and full). In the afternoons and on weekends, the kids’ club and gym are quite empty. Pricing is fair for family memberships. My girls (ages 5 and 6) can’t wait to start yoga there for $ 10 a month. Sweet.

Great world class weight room, with huge fans and cross room air, so U dont become languid and tired from lack of oxygen! Staff is friendly and always greets U. Perfect enviroment to train hard and get in shape!

I have exercised at this facility since it was Gold’s and the YMCA took over about 3 years ago. The Management is great, and the floor staff and maintenance team are awesome. The shining stars for me, are the KIDS CLUB employees. Gold’s regularly had two employees to cover the approximately 25 kids. The YMCA never has less than 4! You can really notice a difference with the additional staffing. Each day my kids do different crafts, read books, and sing songs. BY FAR the best Kids Club your going to find at a gym. My kids really look forward to seeing TIANA and the rest of the team and that makes my life so much easier. I could go on forever about the benefits of this Club, and i feel very fortunate to be a member.

Located where once Golds Gym was. The new YMCA has made the dump into a nice new gym. New equipment and better service. They offer a varitety of classes and programs.
Parking sucks cause it uses it with Petco and other stores.
