Kerr Floors

Kerr Floors refinished approximately 1400 sq’ of wood flooring in our home over 4 years ago. We had several scratches in the wood flooring — some of them were deep — from our 100# Labrador Retriever. The team from Kerr did an excellent job on all counts. The price was very reasonable, the work was done quickly and with minimal disruption, the end result was fantastic, and the flooring still looks great! We agree with the other reviewers that John, the owner, is honest, reliable, reputable, and did not try and upsell anything.

AMAZING, I can’t believe the detail of service from meeting John to his service team. It’s always daunting finding a provider who is trustworthy, reliable, honest and reputable. We purchased a large condo in Anaheim Hills, John personally arrived to bid the project, never pressured for an upsale and listened to our needs. Made suggestions that worked with our budget and we never felt intimidated. We appreciated his invitation to visit his studio to select wood and carpet. We are quite selective and his reassurance and patience sold us. OUR FLOORS ARE AMAZING and perfect, he even did the stairs and I’m OCD with perfection and micro inspected and everything was perfect. I’ve referred Kerr floors to many friends and they are just as satisfied with their experience. Thank you John and team for a wonderful experience and we will certainly use your services again.

Wanted to get some hard wood flooring put in the family room to match our kitchen floors. John (owner) was responsive and reliable when I requested a quote. He was able to order the same brand and type of wood that I had in our kitchen. John was a friendly, upfront guy, not trying to upsell anything. I don’t know how he rates in terms of prices, since we didn’t shop around and only got his quote. His price seemed reasonable, so I didn’t feel the need to get additional bidders.
What really clenched the deal and why I’m rating Kerr as a 5, is our installer. We had Jose and this guy was on-​time, friendly, did a wonderful job and was clean! I was worried about having a lot of dust, but it wasn’t an issue at all. After Jose was all done installing, I used my trusty Swiffer to wipe the whole room down (over 500 sq. ft) and it barely had anything on the wipe. When we had floors put in by another company at another house, we were vacuuming and wiping the walls and floors for days, trying to pick up all the dust. A huge difference is that Jose cut the wood outside, while the other installers cut the wood indoors cuz they were too lazy to walk in an out. Also, Jose wiped the floor down as he stalled it.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kerr to any business or homeowner.
