This my first ONE STAR review!
** Just a disclaimer before you read this review** I am in great health, very active person who rarely goes to the doctor. But I injured myself in a mountain biking accident this summer, and after dealing with horrible back pain for months and not seeing results through Chiropractic care, I decided it was time to visit the Doctor!
** I said that just so you all know I’m not one of those hypochondriacs, not that there is anything wrong with that :) **
Since I recently switched insurance companies I had to assign a Primary Care Physician before I could schedule my appointment. I called Talbert Medical Group, they gave me a list of names, I chose Dr. Mayet. Bad, bad decision.
Dr. Mayet was very patronizing my whole visit. She sent me for an X-​ray, looked at it briefly, stated she couldn’t see anything and would let me know what the lab came back with. In the meantime she was pushing me towards physical therapy, which makes zero sense when we don’t know what the problem is ?! I requested an MRI, which clearly annoyed her and I could sense when she said she would put in a request I wouldn’t hear anything, well…
6 weeks later… I have yet to receive my lab results from the X-​ray and have not received an authorization for an MRI.
Dr.Mayets bedside manner is very indifferent and I will not be going back to her. If you are looking for a Doctor who cares, even a little bit, avoid Dr. Mayet!
