Modern Life Nutrition gave me the tools to regain healthy eating habits and my self-​confidence back! Under the guidance of my nutritionist Elle, I have lost 30 pounds and feel healthier and happier. Elle and the entire staff are extremely knowledgeable about the science behind food and nutrition, and provide excellent advice for the issues that arise from changing your habits — for me, Elle was great in helping me find solutions to controlling my cravings and finding healthy and delicious substitutes. My friend told me all about Brent and this wonderful system of nutrition and weight-​loss protocol called Ideal Protein. I would watch her as the pounds came off and her body transformed. I was referred to Brent at Modern Life Nutrition by my mother to see if he could help fix some gastro issues I had been having for quite some time. After having been to a specialist and having multiple blood test and procedures done I was told everything was normal but that I might just have IBS. Brent told me over the phone that he was very confident that he could fix my issues. After meeting with him and running a blood panel and coming up with a game plan I was able to fix my issues through diet and supplements. I am so happy to say that after 5 months of the same routine I feel so much better and my issues has been eliminated completely. I have also adopted a healthier and more balanced way of eating and am in the best shape I have ever been in. As I watched my colleague melting away without heavy exercise and actually eating, I got interested in the «magic»… Turns out, it’s not magic at all. It’s real nutrition and getting reeducated about using food for fuel instead of all the other behavioral and emotional reasons.
I can unequivocally say that this is the BEST thing I’ve ever done for myself. In only 16 weeks, I’ve lost 38 lbs., 19 inches, 10% body fat and lowered my cholesterol from 210 to 148. My crazy, fanatical workouts have stopped and walking suffices as the way I’m keeping toned.
I’ve now given away all of my size XL/​16 clothes, then the 14s and now the 12s and Ls. Wearing ⁸⁄₁₀ and mediums in my «old» new permanent body is amazing!!! I sleep at night again and have not had one stomach ache the entire time («sensitive stomach» troubles have been a normal part of my entire adult life!) Skin, hair and nails are incredibly healthy now and no more achy joints. Having tried everything else, I finally get it!
Elle and Brent do an amazing job of supporting you en route. The guidance and accountability is really balanced and this can be done –it’s for real people, with real lives and demanding jobs and social lives. The food makes sense and cheating becomes unnecessary because the results are quick and lasting!
The protocol is perfect for someone that does well with structure or wants to get good at structure. It truly is the LAST «diet» I’ll ever be on… When Brent asked me at our initial meeting «what’s going to be different this time,» it really gave me pause. If you’re finally fed up with disappointing yourself, following the protocol will reestablish your credibility with yourself! It’s permanent.

I have to say i was very skeptical to try Modern Life when my wife asked me too try it. But with some convincing and friends that had success i decided to try it out. Im glad i did, i told Brent from the very beginning that weight was not the important thing, what was important was getting healthy and getting off all my medication i was on. Im happy to report that with Brent and Elle’s advice and guidance i am now off my diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol meds and in the process lost 85 lbs. I also learned great habits and have Brent and Elle to call or go see for continued support. I greatly recommend you give it a try!

I have to begin by saying Brent and Elle are absolutely amazing!!! As a nurse, you would expect that I would be well informed regarding the topic of nutrition; however, after working with Brent as a client for the past 5 months, I have a much greater understanding of the foods I should be eating and those to avoid.
I suffered from severe, debilitating migraines for the past 20 years, which become increasingly worse over the past 3 years causing me to be unable to work. I averaged 23 – 25 migraines per month. It became easier to count the days I didn’t have a migraine or cluster headache. My doctor prescribed every «preventative» medication possible which provided no relief. I also was prescribed the maximum dose of medication to be taken at the onset of a migraine. Occasionally the onset medication would provide relief as long as I would take it with Benadryl and go to sleep. During my consult with Brent, one of the first things he said was he would stop the migraines or at least significantly reduce them. As a skeptic, I didn’t believe him but figured I would humor him and give it a try. I am ecstatic to report, since May, I have not taken any of the preventative medications and have taken a total of 2 «onset» pills. It has been amazing!!! Now when I get a migraine or cluster headache, the intensity is more like a typical headache and if I walk around the block, it knocks it out. I am now a firm believer that the fluctuations in blood sugar as a result of the over consumption of carbs and sugar was the cause of the migraines. Thanks to Brent and Elle, I am back to work and feel the best I have felt in years!!!

Brent and Elle are great! They are so helpful thru out the whole process! Always available to answer questions either thru txt, phone calls, or emails. Could not be any happier in this journey to change my life. I have been doing it for over 6 months and have lost 75lbs in the process and still going for more.

I could not be more pleased with the results I have seen from working with Brent for the last 3.5 months! I have lost 50 lbs, 31 inches total, no longer take 2 medications I was on for being pre-​diabetic, and all of my blood work has completely changed and now on pace as a perfectly healthy person! Brent not only tells you what to do, but gives the explantion why and ensures that you understand the reasons for it. I have a severe case of PCOS (mainly sugar resistance and hormone imbalance) and he knew exactly what to have me do to fix it. I can not say enough positive things about him, but he truely has changed my life for the better and it was the best decision I could have made in addressing my issues. Not only do I look better physically and on my blood work, but I feel sooooooooo much better and have an abundance of energy!
Brent is also a great support system. He will keep in contact with via phone, text, or email to check up on you, answer questions, or just give helpful tips and tricks. If you contact him for any reason he is extremely good at getting back to you within a quick timeframe. I have referred multiple people to Brent and he has my utmost trust.

Brent is extremely good at what he does. He is knowledgeable about how the body works with insulin, cortisol, and other hormonal responses of the body’s endocrine system. This is actually the reason I like him so much… not just because of the results but the understanding. However if you are looking for weight loss in a hurry this is your guy.
I have met many people whom can facilitate weight loss through calorie counting and fade diets but no one who can answer just about every question you might have about how the body burns or stores energy.
