Loved the class taught by Carly. She has great energy and is extremely informative. The space itself is amazing. The studio is beautiful and the staff and instructors are terrific. Carly’s class was a good balance of spirituality, calmness, meditative and physically challenging. She ensures that no matter the level at which you perform, you have options. The studio also sells beautiful, comfortable exercise clothing at reasonable prices. I will definitely be back!

I recently started going to My Om Yoga Home. To say the least I am extremely pleased with my experience here. All of the instructors have their own vibe of teaching yoga which makes it so much more personal and fun! Each class is so different depending on the person, whether it is more intense, calming, spiritual… you get the idea. They have infrared heaters throughout the studio that warms it up perfectly while not making it as intense as hot yoga. There is also the cutest small shop when you walk in that carries yoga clothes, essential oils, matts, different vitamin supplements, and so much more! The prices are right it really feels like a community within the studio. Everyone is welcoming and down to earth. I definitely recommend trying out this studio!

Great little yoga studio where teachers know you by name and there is always personal attention in class. The infrared heaters give a nice dry heat without cooking you, so you can still breathe while you sweat. Clean, homey, and inclusive of all ability levels, MOYH is a welcome little haven for local and traveling yogis!

I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years. when MOYH opened a year ago in my neighborhood I was excited to have a studio close to my house. Carly has created a space that is calm, welcoming and generous in every way. I love the classes, there are energetic power flows and calming relaxing candle light sessions. I can take classes during the day or finish my day with a relaxing yoga session. All the teachers that teach here add something unique to the experience and I enjoy their teaching and personality very much; my favorites are Janine, Lauren, Karen and of course Carly. Carly is very innovative and always strives to improve the studio with her enlightened choice of furniture, lighting, heating elements, beautiful clothes and jewelry. I am impressed to see what a lovely corner of peace she has created in Huntington Beach and I am grateful to be part of it.

I have practiced yoga on/​off for the last 14 years and I have been wanting to deepen my practice on a consistent basis. So, I started looking for a yoga studio and had been looking for awhile, so I was excited when My Om Yoga Home opened close to my home. I have loved it since the first day I began. I first got the first time student deal $ 30 for 30 days. Now, I have purchased a month renewal price which is the best price I have come across for a yoga studio.
Every instructor has been great and yet different that I feel like I get such an amazing practice every time. The heated portion of the yoga practice is not too hot to where I feel like I may pass out (like in Bikram yoga), but heated enough that I’m dripping (more like a waterfall) sweat. I like the variety of classes offered and I have been enjoying going to both the power yoga and the barre classes for an ultimate all over body work out. Additionally, all levels can go to the classes. The instructors do an amazing job with accommodating, making everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. Plus, the studio is so comfortable and beautifully designed. I highly recommend you try this yoga studio out, you won’t regret it.

My Om Yoga Home is a HIDDEN TREASURE! I absolutely love this studio! I’ve been practicing yoga for the past ten years and have always enjoyed trying new studios, but had a home base elsewhere. A friend told me to try My Om Yoga Home for a month and see what I thought! After just thirty days, I dropped my home base of ten years and joined My Om Yoga Home! Carly, the owner, is not only a fabulous teacher herself, but she has magically found the BEST group of instructors in Orange County. The schedule’s teachers vary daily, giving a variety to the client. The room is a perfect temperature. Not too hot, not to cold. The infrared heat equalizes the room’s temp. in the mid 80’s. Choose your yoga passion: Dynamic Vinyasa flows, strength/​cardio flows with weights, restorative vin-​yoga, and even Barre! Thank You, Carly Reeder, for the hard work you have put into making this studio an awesome place to practice.

Over the years I have taken classes with Carly. She has truly helped my lifestyle. Her classes have increased my flexibility and decreased my muscle stiffness, and also helped my balance. Besides being a wonderful yoga teacher she has lots of knowledge of nutrition
and has helped me to eat healthier.

When I first moved out to HB, I was on a mission to find a yoga studio that I liked. I read Unilocal reviews, did «New Student» trials at different studios, and asked friends for their recommendations. After all this, I chose My Om Yoga Home when I realized that there was no other studio in the area that was as beautiful, intimate, or challenging as this one. Carly, the owner, has put so much thought and intention into creating this space for the community, from the delicate lighting and décor to the group of instructors who make this studio so great. I highly recommend!
Here are some things you might want to know:
Make sure to explore your options within the studio as each teacher has her own unique style and take on «MyPowerFlow» classes (among others). Music, pace, poses, (sometimes level of difficulty), all differ according to the instructor. What’s nice is that each class accommodates for people of all levels.
The infrared heaters get the room warm and toasty (not HOT like Bikram) so you can move deeper into the poses at a comfortable temperature. You will sweat, that’s for sure. The mirrors on the wall create the illusion of more space, and never distract as you’re usually facing away from them. I also really like that you don’t get much noise from the outside/​surrounding areas (an issue with some other studios). Very peaceful and serene.
As for pricing options: Your best deal is the Monthly Unlimited classes (6 month commitment) for $ 108. If you attend 3x/​week, you’re paying less than $ 10 per class, which is awesome. The $ 108/​month is also a good motivator to get you in the studio when you’re feeling lazy :)
Don’t let the lack of Unilocal reviews discourage you from giving this studio a try — you’ll be so, so glad that you chose My Om Yoga Home to guide your yoga practice.

Love this place! The instructors are great especially Karen, Lauren, Carly (owner) and Janine! Open 7 days a week and plenty of classes each day. Clean and the retail products are also available!

I cannot say enough great things about this studio. I have been taking yoga off and on and have always enjoyed it but never to this extent. The size of the studio is perfect. Not too big where you feel lost but not too small where you feel cramped. The variety of teachers help with the different levels of yoga. The inferred panels allow for just the right about of heat without getting overwhelming and always clean. The best part is if you want more heat, you can get closer to them. While some instructors are harder than others, they always start with intro instructions and build on it for the advanced students. So there is something for everyone. I highly recommend this studio. I have been coming minimum of 4 days a week for over a month now and really enjoy it. They also offer barre classes to. Whether you want gentle yoga, power flow yoga or barre, you can find it here. After 3 years of no workout, I am thankful to have found My Om Yoga Home.

The powersculpt class with Sandi was awesome and extremely challenging. Recommend this class once a week to lean the muscles and kick out all the stresses from the work week. Sandi is a great mix between yoga, boot camp, corrective and persistent. Great class. Great place. Great front desk. Great teacher. Only comment and definitely not a complaint… The floors could be a little softer on the knees.

I had been away from yoga for years — life got in the way and then health issues. Before that, I practiced regularly at home and attended classes. I am so grateful to Carly for opening this studio so near my home. I have no excuses and the studio is a quick bike ride away. I started with the Therapeutic Flow & Restorative classes and they’re fantastic. I feel renewed, healing and challenged. The place has such a special vibe. Loving it.

My Dr. recommended yoga to help with blood pressure & cardiac issues. This studio has classes for every level. I’ve settled into the Restorative & Therapeutic classes but still get a great work out! Carly & her staff are caring & professional. They encourage you to stretch yourself or modify the poses based on what your body is telling you. Very welcoming place for us yoga newbies!

I started at My Om Yoga by attending a foundations class one Saturday afternoon. Carly was very helpful to explain many of the aspects of yoga. I then signed up $ 30 for 30 days and loved each class! I have also attended the nutrition workshop and found it very informative! My daughter is home from college this summer and we attend classes together. It has been great to share the yoga experience with her!

I love My Om Yoga! The studio itself is clean, they usually clean the floors in between classes. The price, number of classes and friendly instructors easily make this studio a winning formula. There are three classes: restorative, sculpt, and vinyasa flow. The last two are generally mildly heated in the 80s.
There is an emphasis on a lot of short, repetitive flows (i.e. sun salutes A, B, and C) instead of long flows where you add on poses. The issue with this yoga style is you’re rarely sore after a class. Utkatasana twist, lunge twist, boat pose, etc. — all of the instructors are doing mostly the same poses, so not a whole lot of variation. This is great for increased endurance but not necessarily for building strength through muscle confusion and some muscle soreness.
I’ve taken classes with each instructor, here are some highlights.
–If you want a physically challenging class, try Sean, Janine and Lauren.
–If you want to feel your muscles slightly sore the next day, try Sean.
–If you want an instructor who is going to help take your pose to the next level, try Sean and Lauren. These two consistently encourage students to try L2/​L3 poses with hand’s on instruction.
–If you want to smile, try Jonathan.
–If you want a lot of repetition of sun salutes (vinyasa flow/​chaturanga), try Janine.
A big plus is each teacher’s music selection — mindful, creative and non-​repetitive. Rarely will an instructor play a pop hit.
Cons: the 6pm classes get very full & the weights and blocks are not sanitized in between uses.

My Om Yoga is really a home for the mind and soul. I’ve been looking for studios that offer soulfulness along a good asana practice, and this place has it. Their teachers are knowledgeable in yoga philosophy, anatomy, but most importantly offer a space of openness where you can grow as a yogi or yogini. I really like the authentic feel of their teachers, classes, and space in general. Compared to other local spots it definitely has an edge for me. If I had to offer a suggestion it would be to expand their class types beyond power yoga and restorative. Overall a very welcoming and non-​judgmental space that is very welcomed in the yoga scene.

Being 50 and flabby… starting classes at My Om Yoga Home was the beginning on a transformation! Janine and Lauren’s classes have managed to turn my bod from a squishy pile of goo into a toned and somewhat limber surfing machine. CAN’T BELIEVE how much yoga has improved my surfing! Wave after Wave!

A friend suggested we take the 30 day challenge. Today will be day 28. I have been away from yoga for 6 Months and this was a great opportunity to come back.
Being back has made my day’s at work much easier and my home life more relaxing. Yoga offers self challenges where you can go at your own pace. This studio is off to great start. You will find all of the yoga instructors very experienced and knowledgeable. Each one has something different to offer. I would recommend this studio for new and returning yogis.

I’ve practiced yoga on and off for a couple years now in a handful of studios, as well as private sessions. I was introduced to this «home away from home» type studio by a masseuse that I see from time to time and was happily surprised by the warm welcome I felt on the first day of my $ ³⁰⁄₃₀ day trial membership.
The great thing about this studio is that it doesn’t feel like a customer conveyor belt business. It’s more intimate and personal, which is something i’m familiar and comfortable with. Each yoga instructor has their own personal style and background that they bring to each session, so it never feels the same in each class. Whether it be their music choice, their yoga flow or any helpful advice they have for you. Every instructor is genuine and clearly demonstrates their interest in helping you with anything they are capable of.
The facility is clean and well-​maintained. No shoes allowed in the yoga room for good reason. They provide wipes for your sweaty yoga mat and cubby holes to hold your things while you’re practicing. The room is always at a comfortable temperature, so you can practice with loose comfortable clothing. They also provide yoga blocks, massage balls, straps, and blankets to help you progress to whatever goal you may have.
The owner, Carly Reeder, is a sweet genuine person that seems like she wants to develop a small-​town type yoga studio, where everyone knows everyone and can call that studio their home. She also has the best mini-​organ (instrument) to end her sessions with a couple of oms and gratitude.
Overall, I’ve loved my experience and sessions at My Om Yoga Home. I plan on practicing there whenever i’m in town and broken from rock climbing.
