RIPOC Juice N’ Gyro! As of last month, it went out of business in its HB location!:(Sad, sad day… I was gonna get some gyros and smoothies to go in my bicycle basket for a picnic.:(

Meh… I was so hoping to love this place. Buuuut, gyro was mediocre at the best. It wasn’t anything special. Not enough meat. It’s clean, employee was nice but not coming back for the food. Now I know why they are all under $ 4.99.

Walked over to this place with coupons galour! They honored all the coupons in on transaction! We got one gyro, one panini and THREE smoothies for $ 9!(Look for these coupons in your mail!!!) The smoothies were ok, the gyro was ok, the panini was really good! The staff was really nice but I don’t think the girl working there knew how to pronounce gyro or what was in any of the products! Maybe she was new. We will go back… with coupons. they are also open till 10pm, so that is pretty cool too.

We had two scrumptious paninis and a peach smoothie. Their sammiches are as good as Panera Bread, and their smoothies are as good as Jamba Juice – but with no sugar added! There’s just an ambiance about this place that made us fall in love with it on our first visit. It doesn’t hurt that the staff is friendly!

The food is fresh and delicious. We ordered the chicken panini and spicy gyro sandwich. The chicken panini was warm and tasty. I liked the herb foccacia bread. The spicy gyro sandwich was good, but we could not taste the spiciness in the feta at all. The meat was juicy and the ingredients tasted fresh. The tzatziki sauce was thick and tasty. The coleslaw was creamy yet light. The rice pilaf was very flavorful. The soup, which came free with the sandwiches, was very good. I was not sure what kind of soup it was, but it tasted like a southwestern/mexican veggie soup. I can taste a lot spices, especially cumin, in it. Everything we tried thus far was very good. We will be back!

— Locale destination — Their neighbors are like Gyu-Kaku, Loft, Golden Spoon, and Todai etc. Shopping mall on Warner and Beach blvd in Huntington Beach. It’s just opened up a week ago. It’s clean with only a few tables. Décor is simple, light and fresh. They do emphasize«healthy» and«fresh & best ingredients» — I think it’s a neat concept for this location. All the staff is super friendly. Breakfast menu is served all day long ;) — Gluttony expedition — Roast beef panini: I love the bread seasoned well with herbs. It was toasted well and crispy. It was thick yet, wasn’t hard unlike most panini breads. Seasoning for roast beef and cheese lack in a punch a bit, but I like overall«panini» — though I’m not a big fan of «panini» because of the bread… Gyro: Combo of beef & lamb. The lightest gyro I’ve ever had, though seasoned well. It’s very fluffy — not meaty unlike an ordinary gyro. The textures are like thick fluffy ham… If you wanna something light, go for it! — Sides — Pilaf: Tasty rice :) Cole slow: Good — it’s not like the one @ KFC. Pineapple Smoothies: All smoothies are NO sugar added — all fresh :) It’s not so sweet yet you can taste the fruit by itself. The lightest smoothie I’ve ever had. It’s not creamy, more icy. It’s very refreshing and my kind of ally. It’s tasty ;) — Conqueror’s deduction — I like it overall. I’m all for the quality over quantity. Light, healthy, and quality. Nothing outstanding, yet higher standards. It’s gonna be my choice for light munchy foods & smoothies ;)
