This shop is located inside The Rinks. Ask for Doll and have her fit you. She is really great and will answer any questions you have –so soak up the knowledge she has to offer! Doll is very friendly and will try to find the best gear for you within your budget.

Whether you are just starting to skate or are a pro, this shop has everything to fit your needs. Doll is the best person in the world to talk skates with. She will never steer you wrong! A bit of advice, Listen to her every suggestion! I didn’t listen to her once about getting better wrist guards and a couple months later I had a sprained wrist. She will only sell you the best not the most expensive. Love love love this shop.

We stopped in last weekend and met Doll and Daddy’s Little Monster. They were both very nice. We worked mostly with Doll, who is very knowledgeable. She’s been skating for quite a while, so she is a fountain of derby information! My girls recently joined a roller derby team & we’re still learning about skates, skate parts, safety gear, etc. Doll took the time to explain things, give my girls pointers on skating stances, and suggested ways to practice moves off skates. I really like that Doll took the time to explain things and helped us comparison shop so we got the right products for the girls. Roller derby gear isn’t cheap, so it was nice to have Doll walk us through the process of buying gear. We will definitely be back.
Doll also does vinyl stickers for helmets. If you bring in your helmet she can do your derby name & number.

This place is awesome. I needed new wheels for my crappy skates and Doll really hooked me up. I told her that I was on a budget and she was persistent on helping me improve my old skates. She basically made Frankenstein skates. Removed almost everything from the skates, took them all apart and gave me new cushions and toe stopper for free. She’s an awesome Australian woman and will definitely go back when I want to upgrade. She is the only reason why I downloaded the Unilocal app. She deserves so many more good reviews

OC Roller Skates is the best! They’ve got a great selection of everything from skates to wheels to shoe laces. If you have any questions about boots, plates, wheels, etc. Doll can answer them! She’ll work with you to find the right skate set up for your skating style. If you’re considering custom color Riedell boots, the shop has all the color swatches so you can see what they actually look like.
The first time I went into the shop I was looking for outdoor wheels, Doll recommended Juice Smoothies, which I fell in love with! Later I needed new indoor wheel since I hated the default ones that came with my skates. After getting to know me and my skating style, Doll recommended Juice Martini 95A (Appletini). I refuse to skate on any other wheels now, the Appletinis are perfect for me. Any problem I’ve had with my skates, Doll has been able to fix.
I highly recommend heading in to OC Roller Skates if you ever need anything skating related or even if you just need advice on skates!

I love this shop! Doll knows so much about skates and wheels. She got me all set up in my first skates and gear, and took the time to make sure everything was set up to work best for me. Anytime I’ve ever had a question Doll has always been willing to help out and usually has the right answer. I highly recommend this shop and Doll for all your skating needs.

No matter if you love derby, love session skating, love skate park skating, or all of the above, you will love everything that OC Roller Skates has to offer. I got both my beginner skates (Sure Grip’s beginner package) and my Reidell 395s from this shop. Evil Doll’s wealth of information not only on derby, but also on skating in general make buying skates both a fun and an educational experience.
I also love the skate maintenance portion of the shop. Doll’s skate expertise also extends to cover virtually any problem you might have with your skates. Squeaky bearings? Doll offers bearing cleaning to get them back in tip top shape! Trucks acting funny? Doll can fix that too! Not quite sure what the problem is? I’m willing to bet money that Doll will be able to fix it.
Last, but definitely not least, this shop is your one-​stop source for everything OC Roller Derby. I love the designs on all of the shirts as well as the cute shorts the shop offers.
Basically, moral of the story is: OC Roller Skates is a G-​d Send.

I have so much love for roller skates and derby and this place. Evil Doll was truly a gem and even offered to stay an hour past closing if I couldn’t get there in time. She and I talked for at least 2 hours and I learned so many things from her! I am now the proud owner of the fastest most comfortable pair of Riedells I may ever own. Doll took into account my budget, that I was mostly going to be beach skating and even laced my skates and changed out wheels and bearings as we chatted! This kind of customer service isn’t easy to find. I never felt like she was trying to sell me anything, more like getting a priceless skating education in such short time. And her wisdom goes far past just skates and derby, if you have a problem of any sort you can bet she will have a real life solution for you. Best skates, best service, an amazing experience!
