I’ve been going to Ocean Breeze for years and had occasionally had the missing button, missed stained or requested hem that wasn’t done and such but I liked Joann so much that I chose to let those things go. On one of my last encounters she lost a pair of my business slacks. Joanne offered to comp me for them but when I came back for one of my last pick ups her staff member charged me. When I asked Joanne the next time she said she had credited me, I tried explaining to her she hadn’t; she was very strong with me saying she had & pretty much said I was wrong. I was really taken back, why would I lie? I’ve been going here for years & have recommended countless friends. I finally picked up my last items yesterday & she charged me. I’m still perplexed that a long standing customer can be treated this way. I moved my weekly business to Class Act Cleaners.

I have been going to Ocean Breeze Cleaners for more than 16 years. That is about the best recommendation that I can give! Joann gives great personal service. I really like the way my shirts and pants are laundered, cleaned and pressed. They are always perfect. Prices seem to be very reasonable! I started going to Ocean Breeze when I lived nearby. I now about 5 miles away and drive past four or five closer cleaners to go to Ocean Breeze and Joann.

I have been a regular customer at least once a week or more for over a year. I recently had my purse cleaned there. It wasn’t a very expensive purse but I liked it. Well they kept it over 10 days and charged me at least $ 20 dollars(they couldn’t tell me how much it really was since I had also cleaned several over items at the same time). After I got home with it I realized that they had torn out one of the straps from the purse and then glued it. On top of the glue they put a zip tie that is scratchy. I’m really not mad that it was ripped, but I am mad that they charged me $ 20+ when they broke it. I just wanted a refund. Joanne, the boss, yelled at me and completely denied their shoddy work. DONOTEVERPATRON A BUSINESSTHATYELLSATTHEIRCUSTOMERS. I will find a new cleaners that is much nicer.

I love this cleaners. They do a great job, prices are fair, timing is good and my clothes are always done when they say they will be. Once I completely forgot that I took my Michael Kors jacket to be dry cleaned. I got a call about 6 months later asking if it was mine and did I still want it! YES, thank you!!! Just in time for the chilly season.

From what I know, their prices were reasonable. Turn around time was average, 2 days for two pants and a tie. The lady remembered my face somehow even though it was my first time and retrieved my items without even needing to see my receipt. Quite impressive. My 3 items were pressed nicely and came back fresh.

My family and I have been going her for over 10 yrs. in the last 2 – 3 yrs we keep losing clothing and in the last 6 – 8 months my clothes come back with holes, tears, often times it is brand new clothes that I havent even worn yet. I expect to occasionally have a few accidents here and there but now it is a weekly basis. When I talked to the owner Joanne, she said that it is because clothes arent made like they were used to. let me tell my dresses are over $ 300 and my shirts are $ 150 – 200.I have tops that come back without their straps, tops that have bra-strap tabs that have been plainly torn from its site… pants with torn zipper, missing buttons and flowers, appliques that have been ripped for no reason. not just because it snagged but plain ripped… My family and I spend over $ 10,000 to $ 12000 conservative estimate here and I will never go back and I will find a new clearner. NOONE should ever bring expensive or delicate clothing her because as Joanne said. she can only handle industrial strength clothing or fabric because she and her workers are incapable of dry cleaning expensive, quality or delicate clothing!!! I own a business and I told her she owed me an apology for the fact of ruining my clothes and for inconveniencing me to have to come back and forth. She refused and now refuses to answer the phone when I call. Very mature and professional! DONOTBRINGYOURCLOTHESHERE!

I used to think highly of OB, but then I noticed what was happening on the bill. They advertised the discount on the window, but they stopped applying it. They also stopped charging consistently during pickups as a routine customer and went on to increase their prices pretty consistently around 30% or more. I can also speak for missed articles(like other reviewers had noticed.) It’s too bad…
