Just recently moved to HB and was looking for a go to Italian restaurant. Decided to stop in one night while craving some chicken parmesan. Was definitely not disappointed with my choice! Pizza D’oro is the epitome of a ‘hole in the wall’ type find, but still very nice on the inside. Chicken parm and salad were both top notch. Was extremely fond of their marinara sauce, would definitely put that on anything I eat there. Definitely recommend stopping in or taking out some food here!

Favorite place to eat! Boyfriend and I come here often and get the couples special. So much food it probably could fill up four people and the prices are so great! One of the best secrets in Huntington!

The pizza was amazing and so far the best spaghetti I’ve had in my life(sorry Mom and Dad). I highly recommend this place.

We found this little place through Unilocal and couldn’t be happier we did. It is tiny eith only 6 tables. But they do a bustling take out business. We ordered the Monday night Lasagna special to go. Let me just say… it was huge! Came with a salad with homemade Ranch dressing and garlic bread all for $ 7.50. Don’t be deterred by the location next to 7-Eleven. The food is amazing and the girls that work there are fast and friendly!

Not a bad little neighborhood Italian restaurant. Small hole in the wall place with a decent size menu. I ordered the large lasagna. It will either feed four people or two people with a bigger appetite. Overall I thought it tasted good. Was it the best lasagna ever? No. But it will satisfy your Italian craving. The garlic bread that comes with it wasn’t a home run. Probably won’t order this again next time. I’d like to go back to try out their pizza by the slice. Seems to be the thing to get here. If you’re looking to dine in, expect to wait for a table since there are only 6. Small joint!

I love pizza!!! I’m always looking for the best pizza in town and this place a pretty good! Their family special is fairly priced and you get loads of food! The pizza was really tasty as was the salad and lasagna. The only thing they could use improvement on would be the bland garlic bread.

Serious Unilocal?Talk about leading me astray on this one. Poor quality ingredients, little variety, cheap food, really disappointed. This place must be making lots of money because their cost basis has to be very low… unless they have been spending $$$ on Unilocal advertising?

Our go to fav Italian place in HB! We love pizza D’s. Always great service and the couples special is such a deal and feeds our family for dinner and lunch the next day. The rosa alfredo is to die for as well!

Tight seating, could not enjoy basketball game on t.v., had to listen to some jabbering lady, about her daughters soccer, and we’re she is eating next, disappointed. To go is your best option

Decent hit the spot and everything, theyre ok when you need a pizza and dont want the fuss. 26 bucks for a large 16 inch with 3 toppings. a bit much? Hmmmm. U be the judge. But pizza was gobb-down-able. :-)

Not only is the pizza EXCELLENT, but the service is amazing! I ordered from them this past Friday. I tried ordering by text, but wasn’t sure if that service was working so I called it in. They actually texted me back to take my order — awesome! Ordering over the phone was super easy. When I got there to pick up, my order wasn’t quite ready so I paid and told them that I’d be right back, going to the bike shop next door for a few minutes. Lo and behold, I’m in the bike shop(which also has AMAZINGSERVICE, along with an outstanding selection) and here comes the woman from Pizza d’Oro with my order! She delivered it to me at the bike shop! Took it home, along with the garden salad and shrimp scampi and loved it! Real ranch dressing, super fresh salad, and really yummy garlic bread with the shrimp scampi. This is our new pizza spot, hands down!

My family has been going to this place since I was a little kid. This food hits the spot, not the best, but for the price you can’t beat it. My two favorites are the giant slice of cheese pizza and the meat lasagna. Both are pretty good, even compared to NYC standards. Their mini salads aren’t bad either. It’s a small place, with six tables. Going during lunch is iffy, sometimes there aren’t any spots. Service is fast and efficient.

Cozy restaurant! Friendly staff and great food. Really happy we took a friend’s suggestion to have lunch here. I love supporting businesses like these and if I lived closer I would definitely return weekly. Tried several items and we were pleased with everything. Unique way to serve pizza and my son got a kick out of it. It could get really packed here on a Fri/Sat night but takeout seemed popular while we dined there and watched the traffic going through their doors. Only left out one star because the fettuccini sauce was slightly bland, compared to other restaurants I’ve had this, but that shrimp(and those deserts!) more than made up for flavor in the end.

Definitely going to try their pizza again, it has so many great reviews ours was so dry though and hard to eat. The stars are mainly for the salad and fried Mozzarella cheese! The house salad is simple with just cheese pepperoni and dressing. I think next time I want to try their antipasto. The Italian dressing is so good! I’ve not had dressing like that from anywhere in awhile! The fried cheese, how could you go wrong with marinara on top? Very good! Definitely a lot more items to try here, going to try their pizza again too.
