I was so scared going to a new tailor BUT I’m happy to have found a tailor close to the house! They take exceptional care to make sure everything fits just right! Thank you!

A few months ago I had them tailor some slacks for me. This time they tailored 2 dress shirts for me. They had then both ready in 2 days. And the price was good. $ 100.00 for both. Fabulous Service. They tailor just about anything. Wedding Dresses, Suits, etc.

Took a pair of slacks in for taper and hem. I have what he called an «outdated style» haha but after explaining to him what I wanted he got my pants nailed. So if you’re looking for a good tailor for that mod /​Skin look he’s your man.

I took my sons pants because I wanted to add a adjustable waist. They did a awesome job at a reasonable price. I am very happy. The owner Long he is very nice and personable. I will definitely bring anything I need altered here. I recommend this place

I was looking for a place close to my work and thought I give this place a try. The quality was great! And the service was even better! I came back again recently to alter two more pairs of my work pants. I highly recommend this place!

This guy is unreal. I’m a uk man and prefer my suits tailored in a euro style, fitted and trim.

Great service. I had a rush job on some new dress pants. 24 hours later they were ready and looked great. The cost was $ 28.00 which seemed a little high but the service and the cleanliness of the store made it okay. I will be back. Great Christian owner.

Great shop. I came here after another spot hacked up a nice new suit trying to get it to fit when it was simply just too big. He declined to work on the suit as he knew the end result wouldn’t be satisfactory. Since then I have had a couple of suits, a few pants and several shirts all altered.
The key is knowing when to alter items and when to just buy better fitting clothes and he’s passed on a wealth of knowledge that has made my overall wardrobe simply «smashing»!!

The best. Honest. Friendly. Reasonably priced. I enjoy my visits. I have had pants hemmed, jackets and shirts fitted, seams repaired, holes patched. I am always impressed by the customer service and the quality of work. The place is extremely well kept. I find cleanliness an important factor and I have not found better. The other customers have always been friendly and I have enjoyed my conversations with them. All the other customers I have talked to say they won’t use another tailor. I cannot recommend Precision Tailor enough!

A friend recommended me to this place (thanks DB!). I used to go to Bolsa places because of convenience and pricing, but there was always a language barrier. Although I speak intermediate VIetnamese, sometimes it’s difficult to communicate with the ladies in the shop.
The tailor here is also Vietnamese but he speaks English, thank God. The location is in HB, pretty close to the beach. The pricing was decent, not too cheap but not too expensive. He finished my dress within a few days and it looked and fit perfectly.

Precision Tailor was very professional on my first visit to the shop. They took their time making sure the pair of jeans I wanted to hem was at the perfect length before giving me the OK to change. They aren’t pushy/​rushing customers in and out, they take their time. Turn around time was 3 – 4 days, I’m sure it would of been a quicker turn around if there wasn’t a holiday weekend that was coming up. Definitely coming back when I need more tailoring services.

I brought in two suits to be altered. One of them required significant alterations including a whole sizing down of the waist and tapering, making a vest hug the body more appropriately (you know it’s bad when a single breasted vest can be made into a double!), and slimming of a coat. Another was a simpler hem, tapering, and coat fitting. Both came out well.
Be prepared to have a rough idea of what you want — simple hemming or more extensive. It’s to your benefit if you know what you want: how fitted, where, etc. If you’re a bit unsure, just ask him. For example, if you’re not sure if you want a single break or a more modern hem, have him show you the difference. He’s happy to do so.
If you’re not sure what he’s doing, why he’s pinning it that way, why it looks a certain way, if you have any concerns with the way it looks while pinned, let him know and express those concerns. He’ll either explain it to you or make some adjustments to your liking.
Tailoring takes approximately one week.

4 basic hems done. Typically takes 5 business days for a service. Easy.

I bought a really awesome, stylish motorcycle jacket and since it was an American company, where people tend to think that everything is bigger, it looked really big on me. Big on the shoulders, gut, chest, everything. BUT, I already knew it was going to look big on me since the smallest size seemed to have been built for a high school running back. I got it regardless of the size thinking I could just tailor it.
Best and worst decision I’ve made after impulsively buying a motorcycle (also best and worst decision).
I chose Precision tailor because of Russel B’s review, seeing as how his Calvin Klein jacket seemed to fit him very well. Long truly knows his stuff and made my jacket to not only work as a motorcycle jacket, but also as a casual jacket since it looks just so damn awesome.
However, the only reason why I knocked off one star was because of the price he gave me. When I first walked in, I knew it was going to be a difficult job and expected a high price. He told me the jacket would cost me about $ 80 to tune up. I asked him what the maximum could be. I’ve heard horror stories of leather tailors suddenly jacking up prices once the job was done. That’s exactly what happened here.
It ended up being $ 140…which was half of what I paid for the jacket.
If he had told me that it could have been that expensive in the beginning, I wouldn’t be so agitated. I would still have given him the job for being honest with the price. Almost doubling the price is just not right in my book.
tl;dr
Expect a higher price than quoted on your leather motorcycle jacket
But also expect a good job done.

I brought in a suit I know was going to be a challenge. This suit was 3 sizes to big, This was a vintage 3 piece suit that has never been worn. I am already a big guy. 6’3″ 290 lbs. and I found a vintage suit that was 3 sizes to big, that never happens. This tailor was amazing, he took his time really pinning each tiny little spot he could find on this suit to fit it perfectly. I could not believe it when I got it back, it fit perfectly and I could not tell at all where any of the alterations were made. It was well worth the price for his services as I don’t think too many tailors would have been able to pull this off. He does make you bring in the shoes and any other things you might wear with it like the shirt, tie, pocket watch, ect. ANY professional tailor will do that. If you don’t know that, you’ve never had a good fitted suit. I will only go to him from now on.

The man is great tailor. He is old school. He is a down to earth and has a pretty decent sense of humor. He will be honest with you about what can and cannot be done without drastically altering aka ruining your garment, but you should want that anyway. And yes you need to be dressed appropriately for fitting and measurement so that he can tailor your garments the right way. Dont get butthurt if he turns you away when you bring in a suit for tailoring and you are wearing flip flops. Thats 1 star for you, not him. A lot of the bad reviews on here are due to user error (people not knowing how tailoring works) not because of Long’s service or capabilities. The guy is tailor not a magician.
I have basically had my entire wardrobe tailored by Long, Anytime I buy something off the rack I automatically add $ 20 to the total price because I know I am bringing it to Long to make it fit me right.

Came in to have two casual button ups slimmed. Very knowledgable and upfront about what they can and can’t do.
Came out to $ 25-​$ 30 a piece. Definitely spendy compared to other tailors I’ve gone to.
The service is very friendly and quality of the worksmanship is competitive, but pricing is more than what it should be.

This place is a must-​go-​to for tailoring needs. Not sure why anyone has bad reviews because Precision Tailoring and Long (owner) have done quality work for me. Perhaps the people who have issues wanted something unreasonable or the alterations they wanted would compromise the integrity of the clothing. Long has always been honest and upfront with me if good alterations can be made or if it will be a botched job. Also, Long is a very nice guy and has helped me with last-​minute alterations. I am a very happy customer. Thanks, Long!

He does awesome work. Took a suit here for my wedding, and it was a decent Calvin Klein but nothing custom. After he tailored it, I’ve heard several compliments on the fit and some saying that it looks custom.
My wife and her family now use Long as their tailor as well.
I highly recommend!
