The bathroom is only ok. They have good Hotdogs and donuts you can’t believe. The worker, Ben is kind to the customer by asking them how they are doing, family, what can he do for you, etc… He rule and maybe it isn’t him that gets cranky, it’s the customers that make him cranky. I have been so many times to get a snack with friends and he does whatever he can to make our trip great. Don’t be so harsh to him because he has to work all day and most of the night.

This is the WORST7 – 11 store I think I have ever been to. The male adult employees who work here are rude and unfriendly. I brought in a slurpee refill cup and one of them argued with me about the size which was clearly printed on the bottom of the container. He charged me for a larger size. There have been so many times I have come here with my kids and it’s impossible to communicate with them. Poor customer service skills. i’m glad there is a new AMPM store a block away because I’ll go there instead.

Yes, the consensus here is correct: the owner of this place is rude, has terrible customer service and is downright unfriendly. I refuse to spend my money here and take it where it’s appreciated.

I don’t think I would ever find myself writing a 5 star review for a 7-eleven, but maybe if you continue reading, you’d understand why. So, it’s the New Year and after the holiday spending, I take a look at my credit card and I see charges ranging between $ 4 and change to $ 7 and change between morning trips to the Starbucks drive-thru and when I really want to splurge and go out of my way to an indulge Peet’s at Bellaterra before work. Well, it adds up … it adds up to a lot! So, my five stars goes to my local 7-eleven and deserving too, because since I randomly walked in for a cheap cup of coffee a month back, I’ve actually been to three other 7-elevens AND an AM/PM all in Huntington Beach including the brand new one on Brookhurst and Hamilton AND the new 7-eleven in downtown HB for comparison. So, here goes for a $ 1.68, I can take a cup that seems larger than Starbuck’s «grande» and fill it with 3 pumps of a sugar free vanilla(for a skinny version) or 3 pumps of standard French Vanilla, then use this cool machine that dispenses«steam with foam 2% milk» … and then have my choice of what I can quickly count to nearly a dozen different coffee variations from mild to bold tastes and a handful of flavor ones and decaf if I so desire. And when I assemble it all on my own, pretending to be a masterful barista myself … I end up with a really delicious hot cup of coffee that has a yummy milk foam top for under $ 2 and in half the time. Okay, so other Unilocalers … you’re right … Korean guys who own and manage the place, not the best people skills, but hey! I am not the best morning person either. Who knows how long his work shift as been or the kind of drifters that they’re constantly serving. And, like I said I have been to three other 7-eleven places and a new AM/PM and service is nice … vending machines are newer and fancier but the steam milk options are either not available or the way they dispense, it’s mostly water. So, there you have it … decent cup of coffee … however way I like it … for under $ 2. No fuss … no wait … lots of variety … always hot … never any doubt whether or not the barista has used the grounds more than once before me … and conveniently located near my office!

I like it Ben. Great luns. I say ring me up, no small talk and later. Actually he always asks me how I am doing, family etc. he rules and maybe its the rude customers making the workers so cranky. Try having Craig bumming money all day outside your store and see how chipper you are.

The owner of this seven eleven is so rude and disrespectful that I am actually writing a review on a seven eleven store… Last week, my friends and I walked in to this seven eleven to ask for some water and the owner, being very stingy, said no. We asked why and he decided to lecture us on how each cup costs a $ 1.50 and we had to pay $ 1.50 for a cup of water… He then proceeded to kick us out of the seven eleven because we refused to pay. Infuriated, we went to another seven eleven, which was down on Bushard and Garfield. The owner here was very affable and friendly and gave us water… Never knew asking for a cup of water could turn into a 25 minute lecture from a random asian man. Mind you, this is not the only time this has happened. I have gone in to BUY food from this seven eleven once and the same old stingy asian man was there and his attitude just disgusted me. Obviously, the owner has no customer skills and does not care about how he treats them. I hope this seven eleven doesn’t last too much longer. Or at least the owner changes. I thought I knew many stingy people, but man, this asian guy tops the list.

i went to this 7 eleven and couldn’t wait to get out so i could write a review. a man named Han rang up my slurpee and charged me for other people’s drinks. when i told him they weren’t mine, he gave me a bad attitude and was so rude about it! instead of apologizing, he yelled at me about how the drinks were already on the counter and that he saw me put it there. like helllllo! i only walked up to the counter with ONE drink in my hand! i think the drinks belonged to other people who couldn’t pay since it was free slurpee day and his location didn’t do that so other customers might have left it there. anyways, will never shop there again! the man so way beyond rude for such a little misunderstanding that was on HIS part!

Well I never post here but this is the one!!! The owners are HORRIBLE!!! They are the WORST!!! They NEVER participate in Free Slurpee day! Last year he flat out refused. This year he had the empty cup display but didn’t bother to tell people that he was not honoring the free Slurpees. He let moms with groups of kids fill small cups and bring them up to the register to then tell them that those were not free and there were no more cups for free ones. Parents were not happy but felt like they had to pay for them. On top of that he went to the extent of marking all the Slurpee machines«out of order«when they clearly worked. I can only imagine what else they may lie or skimp on at this 7Eleven. It’s not worth your health or safety. Save yourself the disappointment and don’t use this convenience store. There is another market on the other end of the corner mall. Or keep driving down Hamilton, there is another.

I am reading reviews for this place but have not experienced the horribleness that others seem to have experienced. I knocked over their magazines when I was in there on accident and the guy told me to not worry he will pick them up. Even though I picked them up myself, he seemed grateful. i’ve been here twice so far, and nothing bad yet. Hope they possibly changed things since the last reviews.

The Korean old men that work at this 7 Eleven are straight out dicks! They always get upset when you ask for a bag for the items you purchased. They also treat the students from Edison High like crap. Last time I told my Teen kids to meet me at the 7 Eleven after school. When I went inside, the Old Korean dude was telling my kids to hurry up and pay for their Hot Dogs. I was like hey what’s your problem he straight out ignored me and walked away. My kids said he wanted payment before handing over the hot dogs and was being mean to them. I told the guy in a loud voice, WEWILLPAYYOUWHENWEAREDONESHOPPING. I love 7 Eleven, but I hate this place!

ZERO, ZERO, ZERO!!! Ever been to a place where you feel like they’re doing you a favor by being there??? Remember the ‘ol days of the Asian grocer who always treated their customers like crap, and were rude? Well, this is the place!!! The 2 – 3 times I’ve come here to get a bottled water or to grab a newspaper, the owners(I’m assuming), suck! I walk in, grab my goods, and: * The owner looks at me, looks away, and continues to talk to their friend in Korean, makes me wait, then helps me at their convenience. * The owner basically either tosses my change at me or tosses it on the counter. * No acknowledgement whatsoever: My shit gets rang in, they look at me, hand me my change, and they continue to talk to their friend in Korean. Reminds me of the ‘ol mom n pop liquor stores in South Central LA…
