My new favorite is the Strawberry Lemonade with Lychee Bits! The drink is tart and sweet and the fresh strawberries and lychees makes the whole thing refreshing. I love this place, it satisfies my sweet cravings. I really wish it was closer to my house though

Eat dessert be a monster? I guess what they’re saying is get ready for a monster of a sugar rush! Between ice cream sandwiches and bubble tea your asking for a sugar high. After a very delicious yakiniku lunch we had to top it with desserts! So of course I turned to my boyfriend and ask«boba?» And without hesitation he responded with a nod of agreement and said«boba!» So then after checking near by boba spots we decided to check snow monster off my «must try list» and came here! I’m glad we tried this place out, I have nothing bad to say about my experience. We were warmly welcomed by workers and asked if we wanted to try any of the ice creams. After ordering a strawberry macaroon with matcha ice cream, matcha boba, and a few other ice cream sandwiches, we only waited roughly 5 minutes. Once we got out sweets I tortured my poor boyfriend(thanks for your patience babe) depriving him of his ice cream sandwich and our matcha boba. I took forever to take my foodie pictures attempting to catch the right angles and appreciating the clean edges and adorable details of this nook. Now let’s get down to business and talk about the facts or what I appreciated about snow monster + Yummy cookies + Fresh clean tasting matcha ice cream + Very nice staff + Did I mention ice cream samples!!! + Color changing spoons(like mood rings!) + Nice ambience(super chill) + Boba(just because) + Quick service + Cute jar + Sweets that hit the spot! Anyway if your going to stop by snow monster be sure to try the matcha ice cream!

Good place for those late night sugar cravings. Small and cozy, not too ideal for big groups. The menu is not extensive, but does the job because the options they offer all sound really good. Macaron + ice cream flavor combinations, shaved snow with toppings, and a couple drinks that sounded really good(strawberry lemonade, thai tea, etc). They have taro and green tea ice cream here which is a plus for me. Great macaron flavors too(oreo, smore, churro, cap’n crunch were the few that stood out to me). You build your own macaron(choose macaron and ice cream flavor); they don’t come pre-made. Also not expensive. I love that the desserts here are straight-forward, small-portioned, and rather simple, instead of being horrendously glutinous and expensive. We shared one fruity pebbles macaron ice cream(with vanilla ice cream) and a regular sized shaved snow(green tea flavor with mochi, strawberries, and topped with condensed milk). Both were pretty good. I prefer this smaller macaron to the crazy donut ice cream sandwich at After’s. Shaved snow was not the best I’ve had(it was soggy vs. fluffy), but did the trick. Would come back again. Glad to have found a place like this in Huntington. PS– Snow Monster is located in a plaza with absolutely no curb appeal, right next to a smoke shop. Look for the flashy lightbulbs around a sign of their logo(it doesn’t actually say Snow Monster anywhere).

This location is hidden in a corner of a plaza that I would never know existed until now. Macaron ice cream sandwiches take the whole ice cream sandwich trend to the next level. For about $ 4, you can get a tea or strawberry lemonade. Add an extra $ 2 to get that cute mason jar! You can bring the jar back next time for a refill. The thermal color changing plastic spoons were cool also. STRAWBERRYLEMONADE: They used real diced up strawberries in this drink. It’s a refreshing tart flavor. Snow Monster is a cute place. I definitely see why it’s popular. It’s a trendy hangout that stays open late and has charming little desserts and drinks.

Checked out this place with Tiffany C. I’ve had it bookmarked forever and we were in the area so we thought we’d check it out. Now I love ice cream and boba as much as the next person, but this place was so-so for me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cute, there’s a variety of unique ice cream flavors, and they’re really nice there. But it wasn’t enough to leave me wanting more. The macaron sandwich is pretty big. What’s cool is you get to pick your own flavor combo. However, I didn’t feel it was as good as other macaron ice cream places in LA. Had a sip of Tiff’s matcha tea. Too sweet for me. PASS. Oh well, can’t say I didn’t try… This place is just OK for me.

I love a good macaron. Snow monster certainly knows how to do that. Those cookies were so light and crispy… Oh man just heaven. This shop is kind of hidden… I totally drove past the shopping center because the sign is kinda small and its in a corner. Once inside there is just a wonderful smell of baked goods. Take a big whiff. Hmmmm! I liked that there is a small but creative list of homemade ice cream. Of course I had to opt for the macaron ice cream sandwich. It’s what they do best! Horchata and a toffee nut macaron sounded so yummy! It took a few mins to put together but my oh my was it worth it! The ice cream was so creamy and had the perfect amount of sweet rice taste to it. Snow monster knows what they are doing. Although this location is rather small … It is definitely worth a stop. Check it out!

I was recommended to try Snow Monster by a lot of people so I made a quick stop before heading to Huntington Beach. Located next to a smoke shop and hidden in a small plaza. SERVICE It was ok. They opened at 12pm and I was the first customer. This lady behind the counter told me that boba won’t be done for almost 2hrs. How do you not have boba when you open? DRINK Drink selection is very limited with only three drinks listed under the iced drink. I can’t remember the exact price but was on the pricier side. Their reusable jar is $ 2 extra. I was impressed by how the monster logo is actually printed rather than just a sticker slapped on. However, the jar is not practical for drinking. It’s a twist top with no hole for a straw which makes it inconvenient to drink. Unless you drill a hole for a straw, I would just use it as a pencil holder. I wasn’t able to get boba but I was able to get their jasmine milk tea which was aromatic and floral. Tasted similar to the one from Bambu but a lot sweeter. Thai tea was alright. My friend ordered less sweet and it was still extremely sweet. I don’t even want to know what their regular sweetness taste like. CONCLUSION Not much to say about my experience. I will be back again, hopefully to try their boba.
