Great place! ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would come again. Highly recomend. One of the best Wine Center. Kind service, and great environment.

Excellent selection of South African wine (and other Southern Hemisphere wines). I love their selection of Pinotage. Very knowledgeable, friendly and great service. Highly recommended. Oliver in particular is always very helpful and patient with recommendations.

The positive:
+ excellent craft beer selection. mostly from California breweries (I’m from Oregon)…
+ very convenient to the Worldmark where I stay
+ friendly staff… I didn’t ask them about beer selection so my only interaction was during checkout… but felt welcomed.
The negative:
— very few bottles have a price tag on them… I don’t like picking out a bottle, going up to the counter only to discover that the bottle is more than I wish to pay… that is the only thing preventing a 5-​star rating
— if you’re coming from the south up Anaheim be ready to turn in the parking lot quickly because the trees block the sign

My husband & I love this place! I was referred here by several managers at wine bars when I inquired about South African wines. I’ve been to South African wine regions several times and love the wine but it can be hard to find here (except the few cheap ones). My husband just immigrated from South Africa so it’s nice to stop in and support another South African and be surrounded by bottles of South African wines, many of which are recognizable from trips tasting at their vineyards. Oliver is very knowledgeable and has helped us pick the most fantastic wines. What I also love is that he assists you in finding nice bottles at reasonable amounts. There’s no encouraging you to get a similar wine for a little more — it’s quite the opposite and I appreciate that so I can buy MORE! If you haven’t been here and if you love wine, stop in! Staff are very helpful in assisting you with your selections. Ask for Oliver!

I don’t always drink wine, but when I do I prefer to get it at Southern Hemisphere Wine Center! The selection is great and you get the high quality of customer service that only comes from a small, local business. As others have mentioned the pricing is very reasonable for the level of wine being sold. Another bonus is that when you shop here you are supporting a business where the people that own and operate it are actually passionate about their products and really want to see the right wine go home with the right person. When I’m in the mood for a glass or three, you can find me here!

This place is amazing. Really experienced staff. They really make me feel welcome and helpful when I walk in. I’m not sure if its Greg or Fred but he really knows his stuff. He really made me feel like he wanted to help me. They helped me select a good range of wines for a special dinner I had set up with the family. They all loved the wines. Can’t say enough about this place! Local with great prices!

really this place has a great selection of wine. I hate going to bev mo looking for a nice selective wine… and when all the staff there says everything they have is so good when they just say that to make you happy. At southern H wine center all the staff here knows alot about wine and is very friendly and helpful. I am going to continue to send family and friends here for such great help and great selection. =)

This out of the way little shop carries a full compliment of wines from the countries of the southern hemisphere. It’s not a fancy shop with a foo foo tasting room but just good wines and very reasonable prices.
