I’ve been going to Jolie at The Wax Studio (detached cottage behind Porcelain Hair) in Huntington Beach for about half a year now and I think I’ve finally found my match…
I used to skip around to different vendors for my Brazilian waxes by buying a different Groupon deal every single time (actually, that’s how I first found The Wax Studio) because waxes are typically so pricy, and I’m looking to save some dimes wherever I can. It was rough seeing someone different every time and being met with different techniques. Jolie’s technique is fantastic. On top of that, the waxes here are priced very reasonably and Jolie also offers a loyalty stamp card. When you see her 4 times, your 5^th time is free! Pretty amazing, right?
Not only was my first session with Jolie super thorough and relatively pain-​free (considering I have a ridiculously low pain tolerance), but I also felt very comfortable and taken care of. Jolie walked me through everything she was doing and encouraged me to breathe and relax throughout the short process. She is a total sweetheart and so easy to talk to, and I can honestly say that I always look forward to our monthly sessions. She’s also easy to contact (via text) and does her best to squeeze you in. I first found this place off of Groupon and was pleasantly surprised with this service and have gone back ever since just because of Delia. She is so wonderful and the Brazilian is super quick! She makes you feel conformable and is amazing at what she does. I have sensitive skin and the wax she uses is really nice on the skin, not too hot! I barely have any redness and am bikini ready the day after. I would definitely recommend Delia at the Wax Studio inside the Porcelain Hair to anyone!

I have been going to Jolie for my Brazilians for years! I moved to LA about 8 months ago and I still make the monthly drive out to Huntington just for her wax services. Jolie is a true perfectionist, efficient, and does a great job. She always fits me into her schedule and she has great prices. Totally worth the drive!

When I was a teenager, my friends would always make fun of me after getting my eyebrows waxed because my skin is so sensitive that I would have very pink irritation where the waxing had been for hours EVERY time — they called it my «pink eyeshadow» and still make fun of me for it to this day.
No «pink eyeshadow» with Jolie! I don’t know how she did but it was absolutely painless and my skin felt wonderful afterwards. She also has a very pleasant and calm demeanor — very professional!

I was excited to try and find a place near home where I could get my girlie bits waxed. I usually drive all the way to Sherman Oaks to my regular girl. Jolie had great reviews so I was optimistic. She has a great personality and technique was not so painful so I left happy. especially since she squeezed my appt in last minute. i was grateful for her services. It wasn’t till I came home and went in the shower did I see i wasn’t completely cleaned up. :-/​I had also had my under arms done and thought «surely this was done right» so after the shower I looked in the mirror and low and behold. some strays. $ 75 down the drain. and I had to shave to clean up the mess… which is what I was trying to avoid doing in the first place.
Not sure if she was in a hurry. maybe she needs better lighting… but I was highly dissappointed in my experience.

I have been seeing Jolie for years for waxing. Jolie is professional, gentle, and very sociable. I am thankful for her talents and the fact that doesn’t make me break out or have irritation after a visit.
It’s hard to believe, but her technique is the closest I’ve experienced to painless.
I highly recommend Jolie. She’s an expert when it comes to waxing and she’ll make you feel right at home.

I followed Jolie to the Wax Studio because she is top notch for professionalism, cleanliness, and she gives a great and FAST wax. Whether this is your first time, and you are super nervous, or if you are an experienced waxer who has been to a lot of salons, Jolie will not disappoint. The salon is private, tasteful, and clean, and she is efficient and professional. Plus, she’s just really nice and easy to talk to, which is a good quality in someone that’s going to see your lady bits. I’d recommend Jolie and the Wax Studio to anyone.

There are so many different qualities I look for in a good wax specialist and Jolie far exceeded all expectations. She has very high standards for cleanliness and uses amazing products. She made me feel comfortable right away and gave me a spectacular wax.

Miss Jolie is a very talented wax tech who knows what she’s doing. Not only does she wax like a pro, she also has a professional demeanor which makes you feel very comfortable during the process. I’ve been seeing Jolie for the past year, and have now followed her from The Wax Parlor to her new studio. First things first, my reason for visiting Jolie is Brazilian waxing, so let’s be real – it’s pretty intimate and it can hurt like muh fuzza, which is exactly why I would follow Jolie to the moon and back. She’s very personable and makes the whole experience comfortable, fun, and as painless as possible, and did I mention FAST?! She’s easy to talk to, and most importantly, she does a great job. My lady parts are always fabulous thanks to Jolie. Her studio is very private and would make even the most conservative person very secure. It’s quiet, and separate from the salon itself, so it’s very discreet, and her pricing is more than competitive. If you’d like a great wax and a great experience for a reasonable price, go to this woman. You won’t be disappointed!
