I would give zero if Unilocal offer it. I have two items to return. One we defective that we used couple of times and the other one was tried once but my son did not like it ($ 220 value). They did not accept to return both. For the first one, they said it is used and you did not buy the extra warranty so you have to go through the manufacturer. The other one was in my car so I told the manager that I will go and get it. She asked me, is it in box. I told her that it is out of the box but I have the box. She said that it must be in the box to return it. I told her this is weird. She did not even accept to give store credit. They costed me almost $ 300 because a strange policy. Beware of this chain. You pay premium for they toys expecting premium policy of customer service. I used to buy gifts from there and stuff for my kids. I will not do it again.

Your standard toy store. They have a little bit of everything; for the grown up toy addict in me and my toddler. Hard to find collectibles are tough to find, but they have plenty of the basics: action figures, plush, Legos, games, etc.
Pros:
Decent customer service. They greet you at the door. Assist you if you need anything. I have called and gotten assistance for a toy search. Pretty well organized.
Cons:
You really won’t find any true price deals. As mentioned, collectibles are a bit tough to find.

What is the point in buying stuff online, when this company is TOO CHEAP TO ADEQUATELY PACK THE ITEMS, so that they arrive damaged and you have to go to the store anyway to get the items replaced!!! PATHETIC!!! Now they need to compensate me for my mileage and time for this! I don’t think a local review is doing anything! It’s obvious this company doesn’t care, so I will be finding a way to contact corporate to lodge my complaints.

Went in on 12÷13÷15 at appx 2:30.
After looking for 15 min for a employee to ask a question I was told «I’m on my break, ask someone else.» By not one employee but two. I gave up and went to Target. Never again!!!

Short Story: Unbelievably rude and bitter managers that work here. Don’t ever buy an electronic product or talk to a bigger build man with a handlebar mustache. I think Iggy is his name. Iggy makes your life difficult by either not allowing you to return products because you «didn’t read the receipt» or talks about you in front to other cashiers while you’re checking out.
Long Story: I purchased an Amazon Kindle Tablet and asked an associate what the return policy. «Fifteen days,» she responded. The next day, I attempted it to return the tablet because it was honestly just a paperweight. I made the return to Iggy and mentioned that it wasn’t working. He said I could not return it because it was open already, «Check the receipt,» he says. The receipt didn’t mention that, I «can only return unopened electronics.» I exchanged it and called the Toys R Us in Tustin. The manager said as long as it was 15 days I could return it.
Today on Black Friday, I purchased two more tablets. I went to the check out and Iggy whispered to the associate. The associate mentioned to me, «returns are only eligible if it is within 15 days AND UNOPENED, meaning it can’t be opened.» Turns out the two tablets are yet again just paper weights and I had to return it to the Toys R Us in Tustin who gladly made the refund.
Iggy, you need to watch your attitude. Don’t whisper or talk about me to other cashiers in front of me. Do not buy electronics here. They’re all just junk.

The customer service in this store is so unbelievably poor. We’ve spent 15 minutes and talked to two different people to coordinate the movement of a bicycle from the storeroom to the checkstand.

PRICE:
It is a little pricier usually, and the item you want will not be discounted, because if its a popular toy they will have more in stock then any other retailer (typically). They don’t price match either, and I would suggest calling ahead as there phone line and customer service is good or poor just depends on the day.
CONCLUSION:
take a visit, call first, and also look around the electronics section they might have those amiibos you have been looking for. The games are never really any cheaper then target, frys, best buys deals but you will enjoy finding plenty of toys, games in stock.
EVENTS:
They host midnight releases as well! Example is when I waited in a line for an amiibo release they had. They carry the most in stock for midnight releases as well.

Went in looking for bounce house balls for my nieces birthday party. It showed they had them online but couldn’t find them in the store. Ashley took time and searched the inventory and had them pulled from the warehouse. Great customer service saved the party. Hope to see this store stay in business.

Went here for some star wars action figures and they were all out. A toy store out of star wars toys, really? The place has a weird layout which makes the isles really cramped and crowded. Plenty of dolls and teddy bears if that’s what you need. Parking lot outside gets really dark at night. I think the lights are bad or they just didnt bother to pay the electric bill.

Please don’t ever go to Michelle for help! I tried to price match and item from Walmart and she said it could not be done because the difference is way to much she puts the item on her desk. It slides off and tells me to pick it up I decided to just walk out of the establishment I will not pick up something someone else threw without a please or thank you. Someone needs to teach her some manners. I just went to Walmart to buy the product instead.

Needed to buy some toys for kid’s birthdays I have coming up. Closest Toys R Us to me, and I found everything I needed with no trouble. There weren’t many associates walking around but that was fine, didn’t really bother me. Cashier Alyssa, I believe her name was, was great! Was smiling and started up a convo! Great customer service! Little things like that keep people coming back. Overall, great visit… great variety… great prices!

This Toys R Us location is chill. Customer service is good. They have a big of variety of toys & games for kids. I just wished they carried more of the Star Wars the black series collectible figures. That’s my only complaint. Been on the hunt to collect them all. You guys should take your kids, nephew, niece, or who the fuck ever loves toys & games still.

I was invited to a baby shower and had no idea what to buy, I mean everybody always buy clothes but I wanted to buy something special for my best friends baby. I went to this store it seemed like everybody tried to help me figure what to get. I finally end up getting a swing for a newborn which was amazing. My friend was so happy :)

Friendly and very helpful staff, very clean store and best always stock with all popular toys and let’s say they have a great variety Star Wars section and also pre-​school section, this store won’t disappoint and simply the best one around in the O. C

Not the nicest Toys R Us that I’ve been too. It’s a little messy, shelves aren’t particularly well maintained. Wasnt particularly busy given its 1 week before Christmas. We did find what we were looking for and we got a few good deals. When we were waiting in line, the lady in front of us was buying some Christmas stockings, as the cashier was ringing things up, my husband and I both saw the cashier use the stockings to rub/​wipe his nose!!! I don’t think the customer buying it noticed. When the cashier was putting our stuff through, he was a little slow and clumsy, perhaps he’s new.

Alway a good experience when coming to this particular store. Only 4 stars because they dont carry a good selection of baby merchandise like diapers bags and such.
And theres no service in the back part of the store near diapers and leapfrog stuff. its irritating when im in a conversation with my honey and none of my texts go through.
Big plus: when I was pregos and had my two other kiddos w me, they allow me to bring shopping cart in restroom so I didnt have to leave them outside of the restroom.
Best store to go to for black friday or xmass sale because its not crazy busy like other stores and you can atleast get some deals for yourself. Not having to wait 5 hrs in the cold for all the stuff to be sold out.
Last visit saved $ 300 on toys because of their clearance blast :-)
Overall — shop here during clearance blast and holiday sales for high ticket priced for cheap toys

I love this place. I turn into a kid upon entering. I want so many things from this store. They carry almost everything except the Star Wars item my sister was looking for. I walked in and saw this basketball hoop w/​a set of balls. I think I might go back and get it when I have the chance.
I did explore the baby section since I need to get a gift for one of the mother’s-to-be. They had everything my friend had requested. The staff was helpful in helping me locate some of the items I needed for purchase also.
The only thing I wish this place had was better lighting…
