Friendliest service in town. The employees are always smiling and seem genuinely happy to be there and see you. They check on you throughout your meal and make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious too. Jordan has the biggest smile of all! Definitely recommend!

Best fish tacos ever! I usually go on Saturdays and sit at the bar. Brittany is an outstanding bartender, very personable and friendly. I love the music, atmosphere, and their salsa is killer. Come check it out!

Ordered 2 fish taco plate, solid choice. Good beer selection. Friendly staff. Eat and catch a movie across the street if you are in the mood.

How can I have lived in OC for for so long and not tried these fish tacos?! I thought Bear flag was the best spot for fish tacos but Wahoo has just landed that spot. Great vibes and food. Must try! I’m just a little sad I didn’t try these earlier…

Stopped here on our way down to SD. Solid option for some good, quick food. Ordered two fish tacos, which definitely hit the spot. The ingredients tasted fresh and the crunchy slaw was a nice addition. This location is huge with tons of seating. Good alternative to other greasier fast food options while road tripping.

Wahoo’s serves very solid food for a chain restaurant. I ordered a Spicy Fish Bula Burrito which comes with a citrus slaw. The fish tasted fresh, the slaw added a nice crunch and refreshing flavor to the burrito, and the whole thing was just very enjoyable. I don’t really have any complaints at all, the service was fast and the food was good and filling; if you’re in the mood for a fish taco or burrito, Wahoo’s is a more than respectable option.

I’ve frequented this location multiple times before hitting the beach. The one off of Main is always busy and customer service blows. This location is huge. Great outdoor patio that’s enclosed with a canopy. Parking can be tricky like this evening. It was a circus. Oh, full bar. The drunkard in me rejoices. The only«beef» I had this particular visit was the ridiculous wait. One frikkin register open versus two on a Friday night! I was calm because I had my. Or else. I’d knock em down a star. The bar area can get rowdy. Damn hipsters and their stupid man buns. Other than that– it’s a friendly family environment. I wouldn’t suggest the pinto beans for little tots. They’re a tad spicy. Just about everything on their menu is delicious. My only gripe is that not every dish has avocado. I, mean, dude. Like we live in SoCal like we totally have the best avocados and always in season!(You can add it but of course for a buck fiddy or some ungodly amount. I guess I can bring in my own avocado next time and avoid being avo-raped.

I had only been to wahoo one time before this, however, moving into the area I thought I would check it out again at a new location. The fish tacos were really delicious and the brown rice was good. The customer service was non existent. As I stood pondering the menu for about 3 minutes, no one asked me if I might need some help. They just walked off from the registers and waited for me to approach one of register to order. «Are you ready?» Um, yes, i guess… When I ordered I was not told that slaw would not be on my fish tacos so the order had to be re rang to add to it and I was charged extra. At that time, I expected an explanation of what came on the fish taco instead of slaw… nope. No up sale for a drink no explanation what the combo plate came with no extra information at all. Rushed through my order and charged. What a horrible experience. Had I been a secret shopper… fail fail fail! I’ll be back because tacos are great, may be a while though. Boooo! 1 customer service 3food

Try the Baja Rolls and Onion Rings if you want an appetizer. They are terrific. I order the blackened fish tacos with white rice and their fabulous Cajun white beans. Their food is always fresh, always fast(though they are not fast food), and the people are great. Highly recommended.

One of the few chains I can tolerate. Pictures with Santa and some holiday shopping with the wife and kids over at Crystal Court. Not very many decent food options here but Wahoo’s really hit the spot. Inexpensive, lots of choices, relatively healthy, veggie options for my girl, and some tasty grub.

First time here and Hello… Where have you been all my life? I loved the SOCAL culture and atmosphere. Stickers all over the walls. Skateboards hung up and graffiti on the outside. The restaurant was super clean and the staff was very polite and professional. They were great with their service and reccomendations, they brought out our food, filled our drinks and cleared our plates.(Kind of surprising since it’s not a waiter/waitress type place) They were also very welcoming and said bye and thank you as we left. I had the steak rice bowl and it was a perfect balance of all ingredients. The protein portion was just right. I was glad to see they didn’t shy on the meat! Good chips and salsa too! My colleagues had the salmon and fish tacos they looked equally amazing! Overall the price is right. It’s a fun, laid back place, with good food! I’m happy with my experience here, I’ll be back for sure. *I’d eat here over Chipotle any day.(Just sayin)

One day we finally went to Wahoo’s in Huntington beach and right after we were in line, they had a black out in HB! we were a little scared, imagine how happy we were when Wahoo’s opened at this convenient location, we used to go there each time we went to the LA Fitness gym. This is really healthy Mexican food, you have the lean but very tasty enchilada, my favorite, combo #2 with a taco. It came with brown rice, cheese, spicy or black bean and the amazing green sauce. Today however I had the combo #1, free for downloading their app, I never got around to doing so, it was really nice the freebie, I probably missed a lot of deals over the years. On other times, I ordered the cole slaw taco, I just love their cole slaw, I can eat a whole plate of slaw, Mr Lee, the Korean dude sure knows how to make amazing slaw and the green sauce, one time I had the Korean secret sauce! it was phenomenal. I love all the items on the menu except the kale, even if I enjoy dining here, to be fair, this menu is limited, there is no carne asada plate or anything requiring more elaborate cooking. I wanted to rate this 4.5 but decided to give it a 5 because I just love their margarita, it probably was pre mixed because it was 95% the same each and every time, but I never tasted the mix, if this is mr Lee’s creation then he is a genius as I love this more than the one I had at CABOWABOINCABO San Lucas, that restaurant was really overrated. I would definitely come back again and again! Olé!

Awesome! Ever since these guys disappeared from the bay area and I moved to Sac, I haven’t had them in forever! I got my usual fish salad and my husband got a free #1 combo by downloading the mobile app. The cashier threw in a free soda for my husband, which was cool. The iced tea tasted as if it sat out all day. They were in a rush to get patrons out towards the end, but overall good service!

Given my love of seafood and fish tacos, I’m surprised I’ve never come here before! Came here the other day with my sister. Staff was very friendly and efficient. There is plenty of spots to sit at as well. I decided to opt for a healthier option and went for the Mediterranean Chicken Salad. So much food; generous portions! Very healthy and so yummy. Prices are very reasonable as well for how much food you get! I could probably have saved half of my chicken salad for later since I was so stuffed afterwards! I will most definitely be back to try out their other salads.

Solid delivery of good, wholesome cheap food. Thats V-A-L-U-E with a capital V! and a decent beer selection and if it’s your cheat day, you’re in luck, those Maui onion rings aren’t gonna eat themselves. ;) usually a #1 blackened fish for me with brown rice and black beans, and their salmon salad for $ 9 is a deal too! It’s on my weekly lunch rotation and unless I move to Mars, will probably always be.

My fiancée and I visited Disneyland for the weekend. We also wanted to spend some time at the beach, so we drove to Huntington Beach. After couple hours at the beach, we wanted some lunch. So I asked couple of locals where to go for good food, couple of them recommended this place. I’m from Phoenix and am with a Mexican woman, so I know good Mexican food and have eaten fish tacos from all over the place. I would say this is one of the better meals and can compare to the places I eat at home. This place was pretty solid. We ordered a fish taco place and some cheese enchalidas. Both were really good and flavorful. I was pretty impressed with the food. Only complaint was the beans, I really didn’t care for them. Overall, good solid lunch, I would come back again. The service was friendly and our food came out quick. Nice little joint.

This one is bigger and has much better parking then the Bristol location. I think the service was really good here and the folks working there seamed really happy to assist. The food has been consistently AWESOME at all the Wahoos Ive tried. Im really stuck on the salads right now. That power chopper fish salad is pretty bomb. Nice casual environment with a huge patio area for some out door seating too. I think this one is my favorite location just because its more casual and inviting. To be fair I always hit Bristol during the lunch rush and they get SLAMMED.

Wahoo’s Fish Tacos in Huntington Beach offers some pretty tasty fusion food. It’s like a culmination of Mexican, Chinese, and Brazilian influences all served on a pretty rad Hawaiian platter. Today(1÷6÷15), I tried the #1 plate with a shrimp(sautéed with spicy Teriyaki) taco with the citrus slaw, brown steamed rice, and Cajun white beans. Shrimp is an extra $.50. Other protein choices include grilled or Cajun chicken breast, carnitas, carne asada, grilled or Cajun wild caught fish, and tofu also sautéed with spicy Teriyaki. The shrimp was cooked nicely, not rubbery or chewy or anything like that. I could have went with the original taco or even an enchilada, but I went with the«new» citrus slaw taco which entails«corn tortillas, cheese, topped with slaw mix(cabbage, cilantro, onions and carrots tossed in lime juice, olive oil and secret spices)»(see their menu online). Tasty. Brown steamed rice is an extra $.25 compared to the white steamed rice. It was a nice complement to the beans that I chose. I always mix my rice and beans together, so it was pretty good, BUT… a little too spicy to share with my 18-month-old. Good thing she wasn’t hungry and we were there for an early lunch at around 11:15 a.m.(They opened at 11:00 a.m.) Otherwise, I’m not sure the kid’s menu would have sufficed for her young tastebuds. She’s just not quite there with the spicy food. My girl did have an 8 oz Horizon organic(low-fat is all they had) for $ 1.99. It was better than no milk. Lastly, those Cajun white beans. They were perhaps the most surprising and delicious part of my meal. Even the nice lady at the register told me «good choice» and that they were really good. My dine in ticket was $ 8.56. Not bad at all for a nicely sized portion. My food was brought out within just a few minutes of finding a suitable booth for me and my girls.(My hubby & I also have a 5-month-old.) I personally like the vibe, but it’s not for everyone. Kind of hippy-ish surfer-meets-skateboarder-meets-BMXer-meets-dirt-bike-rider vibe. They had«Archer» posters everywhere. Oh, how I love the sarcasm in that show. I like all the bright colors and paintings, especially outside on the wall. You order at the register, then they issue you a number card and bring out your food to your seat of choice. There are tables and booths inside, then a few tables outside. Service was very friendly, and they actually smiled! Plastic payment is accepted. They sell beer and wine also. There’s plenty of parking on the sides and behind the restaurant. The only pitfall I experienced was the lack of a baby changing station in the women’s restroom. There’s most likely room for one in the handicapped stall, which is where those things tend to be when space is sparse. I always feel like if you offer things like a kid’s meal, high chairs, slings, or booster seats, then a baby changing station would be a no brainer. We’ll be back, though. I’m glad I finally tried it because I’ve had it bookmarked forever it seems. Maybe try a different location just for kicks. Review #323 Unilocal challenge 20155⁄100
