Shakey’s Pizza Parlor

The chicken and pizza is good. Great place to take kids. I took my little brother and he enjoyed every minute.

I give this place a 1 only because the service and attitude I received from one of their employees (Roberto) during the afternoon shift was horrendous. Snatching things out of a customers hand and telling them with attitude that they can’t grab that (when I was grabbing it accidentally without knowing I could not) was the worst thing he could do. To top it off I apologized and told him I understood but that he didn’t need to be so mean or give attitude, he still has the audacity to get mad and start arguing with me. CUSTOMER SERVICE RULE #1 — DON’T EVER tell the customer they are incorrect even if they are let alone get ghetto. All I was asking was for him to be more kind in the way he spoke to the customers. I’m still so upset. I understand it was a busy night but common no excuse. If you can’t handle the pressure then maybe you should work somewhere else. And this is so upsetting because I used to work in Customer Service for a very long time. Never had I spoken to any customer that way no matter how wrong or upset they spoke to me! Glad I don’t live in this area so I won’t be coming back to this Shakey’s that’s for sure! He’s lucky I didn’t call over the manager.

Came in for the lunch special… which including a drink comes out to 12.19…not to bad… being that i ate 3 plates worth… i would say i got the moat for the bucks… wouldblike to see less bread foods and maybe some fruit salad bar as well… sports is always a plus for me … Fountains drinks are okay too… would like to see some natural lemonade… just a thought…

This review is well over due. The services is always good here. It’s usually very busy on the weekends and evenings so I can’t complain. Food is good, I mean pizza, mojos and chicken. can’t go wrong with shakeys!

5 stars given to Ulises which was the cashier that helped us today. He was friendly, as soon as we walked in he greeted us and he had the greatest and biggest smile. Made my day even better, they need more staff like him everyday.

Too expensive for pizza. Oh well kids want it. 60 bucks 2large pizzas 1 order of chicken and mojos. Thats BS shakeys. There never no specials cause us mexicans pay it

Shakeys Pizza is one of my favorite pizzas of all time. I been coming here for more than 10yrs now. Never really had a complaint other than some of the coin machines not working properly. Service is always on point. Cleanness can be sometimes bad, but its understandable for the rise of business they get. Overall ⁸⁄₁₀ food is delicious wont disappoint. I have been to others, just not as good as this one enjoy

Shakeys is always good i love the pizza and the chicken and mojos i really don’t have a complaint about the food. Only reason why im giving this location a 3 is because the service could be better. Also the machines sometimes dont give the tickets theyare suppose to give and when u ask for help the workers act like you are trying to rip them off i mean the prizes are all very cheap so why not atleast have good customer service skills

So $ 12.00 for all you can eat buffet and a drink not bad at all. Fast service and they had a variety of pizzas and food to choose from

I only come here for the buffet. They have a variety of pizza, food, etc. they need to clean more and be friendlier, waiters can be rude.

Haven’t been to this spot in a couple of years. Too rowdy and crowded so I started going to the one in Carson during lunch. But I live in the area and missed them mojos. Still loud and crowded. What else can I expect, it’s HP. But the service was better than before. Got our food quickly. Our server didn’t just drop off our food and go. She was checking up on us which I don’t think had ever happened at this place before. Really nice to be tended to at a spot like Shakey’s. Her name was Ana by the way.

Hello I recently went to your store today and was amazed about the customer service this store located in Huntington park #004 gave me! My experience was worthwhile and will be a customer that will return. their food was also warm and ready. I didn’t have to wait for anything. This is what makes Shakeys a great place to visit. I also spoke to the manager about how his associate gave great hospitality. The manager also made me feel even more welcomed than I already was. He seemed proud to represent Shakeys.

My mom invited me to go eat with them today at this shakeys so i said sure i got there and a long line waiting to be seated honestly this place has lost hope The food sux the mojos where burnt and the fried chicken looked anorexic the soda machine broke down and nobody got soda with there meal and nobody wouldent do anything about it. Alot people got pissed that they actually started to ask for a refund and the staff lady laughed at the lady asking for a refund the manager came and made a face at the register lady for laughing and gave the refund to the lady i dont know what happen in there kitchen today but it was a mess sorry shakeys aint coming to this dump anymore.

been coming here for over 20 years. great mojos!, but I hate to say thus location sucks in service ! they need to hire more people to give at least adequate service. waited too long forxa pizza to go and the side orders (mojos a d chicken) were literaly counted and not enough for the price. perhaps new MANAGEMENT !

This Shakey’s is huge! It gets suuuper packed on weekends, but there are a lot of tables. The food is great, as it is in any Shakey’s. The Mexican Fiesta Pizza is my favorite. and of course, the mojos!
Their arcade is huge, love it. The prize selection isn’t that great, but that’s to be expected lol.

Great place to eat and entertain the kids! Food is great and the employees very helpful and polite!

Stopped in for dinner, an NFL game and my SF Giants game on ESPN. I was going to give this Shakey’s 5 stars for their service alone but couldn’t.
The service was incredible! The manager is super awesome, I think he’s been there for ages now. He was able to accommodate us and turn on the baseball game on ESPN (yes, the SF Giants were on). I had my SF Giants jersey on as well so I wasn’t well liked that night. :)
The pizza is okay, the mojo potato is awesome. Service was top notch here. There’s plenty of parking but if you go in during dinner (on a Sunday night), be prepared to deal with tons of kids, crying babies and a hunt for a table. Other than that, had a great time!

I’ve been to this shakeys restaurant for more 15 years. Yet what I like about this restaurant is the bunch lunch. The most favorite part is the pizza, mojos and chicken. Not just they have the three things is they have pasta, salad, and jelly. I go there for special occasions or when I celebrate my finals. I want to recommend this places for those who live in the Huntington Park area.

My family and I went for lunch and when we arrived and got to the cashier she messed the order up and then she just decided to give us 2 drinks for free. Now my husband (who black) corrected her in a calm manner and and she stepped back from the register and put both her hands up and said whoa sir just calm down… I paid $ 50.00 for our meal that included a mug of beer and when our food arrived at our table they didn’t bring the beer. So my husband went to the cashier and she said that without a receipt she could give him the beer. I went up and explained that I never got the mug and the manager was there. I ended up saying that if you cannot get me the beer then just refund me but that wasn’t going to happen. I said this cashier knows I ordered the beer can’t you see it on the computer with my order number. So the manager brought me to the tap area and checked on the computer in that area and she said oh you order a lg 3 topping pizza with mojos and chicken I said yes (Now how hard was that?) so she apologized and said that they were short and only had 1 waiter. I told her that the Shakeys in West Hollywood always brings it to my table and this was my first time here at this Shakeys. My children won some tickets and we went to the prize area and waited for a long time for this lady to come by and she did not speak one word of English we keeped saying FUN DIP, FUN DIP finally after several attempts she got it right. Last the pizza tasted like a pizza I could of gotten from Pizza Hut and the chicken was over cooked. I am so upset that I wasted my time and money here.
I will never eat here again

We ordered pizza and Mojo potatoes and of course beer to help me cope by being there.
An hour later… I get the shits.
24 hours later… I’m still shitting my pants.
NOT COOL.
Wont be back.
