Sick of my orders always getting F#%^ up here. I live on pacific & Randolph been coming for 15years and they always manage to get my orders super wrong, if there always high they can get away with it, but not a handful of times. They bunch tweak-​out females that answer the line and don’t take orders right, if don’t like your job kick rocks with that lameness. Disappointed.

They run a special for a $ 1.99 milkshake so when I ask why am I being charged $ 2.99 she says tax. BS a 33% tax what a cheat and yes it was between the advertised hours of their special. Either this female behind the counter was to stupid to work the register and didnt know how to reverse the transaction or she was knowingly steal from the customers. Either way there is enough burger joints within walking from this spot, I’ll be heading elsewhere from now on.

I still avoid their chicken salads, however their hamburgers are amazing. The meat and buns are both incredibly fresh. Their chili cheese fries — YUM. They still use RC Cola, which personally, i love. Steak and eggs isn’t bad, steak is a little chewy. Breakfast burritos and salsa are good.

The only thing I have tried here is the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. It comes with hamburger buns but I order it with the white sandwich bread. I LOVE THESE SANDWICHES!

The Tom’s breakfast burrito is really good. Their bacon avocado cheeseburger is cardiac good. The fries are good as well. Overall good food at a fair price.

I am on a quest for the best so cal burger. This will make #31 .
10 hrs after eating here I have the worst food poisoning of my life. Coming out of both ends relentlessly.
I’m not kidding. The only redeeming factors were a decent but overseasoned/​over salted burger and cashier was friendly and attentive. Usually not the case in small burger stands. She asked twice if I needed anything.
STAY AWAY!!! For the sake of your sheets and pants. Holy crap.

I ordered the classic burger this time around. Came out quick and it was bomb. Definitely might be my go to here now. It has a special sauce to it, similar to in n out, which really makes the burger good. The fries were especially good as well. I dunno what they did to them but I was loving it. The onion rings you can pass on but they give you a lot and they are huge. Cheap prices as well!

Found a piece of rubber glove in my gyro! Gross… Meat was very dry, and they were out of gyro sauce so they gave me ranch dressing instead. Will never come back…

I wanted to leave a review because this place deserves it. I’ve been working in Vernon/​Huntington Park for about 4 – 5 years, and I recently stumbled upon Tom’s. So glad I did, because their food is delicious, and the prices are very competitive. What makes this place stand out is the friendly service and clean atmosphere. If you’ve been around Huntington Park, the restaurants around here aren’t exactly «fine dining», but I can see the effort that has been placed here. They bring food to your table, ask if you want free refills for your drink, and the service is simply friendly. The other reviewer giving this place 2 stars because they changed their chicken salad seems ridiculous and not a fair review.

At this place they got great hamburgers but the portion of the fries are too high but it is worth if for those who have skipped breakfast and looking forward for brunch. For breakfast they got pancakes, eggs, sausage. I might look forward to come to this restaurant again.

fish burrito is pretty good, but if you’re at tom’s you have to get the pastrami. it’s OUT OF THIS WORLD. greasy, fatty, delicious. it’s everything you want your pastrami sandwich to be.

This is the first Tom’s I’ve been to. I guess they were trying to make the place seem like an old style diner with the 1950ish look of the booths. The restroom is accessible from the outside (you’ll need a key), and it’s not too pretty. The food was ok. The chili burger I had was nice (the patty was a bit on the thin side), as were the fries. I’d rate this place as being on average with other small time burger places.
