Oscar and Jacks Barber Shop

Haircuts always on point, long wait times on the weekends so try and get there early. Jack and Oscar could cut 60 heads a day and never lack quality. Always consistent. Be patient because they are worth the wait everytime.

This place is shot. Use to be okay back when it first opened up.
Must of the barbers are young kids. Which have no idea what being a barber really is.
It’s a shame. That the owner of the shop is a very good barber, but his staff isn’t.
Price of the haircut isn’t to bad.
They offer other things like buying and selling gold which they don’t leave you alone about.
Staff talks about there night out and go into details which someone that has worked all day, Doesn’t want to hear about it.
Maybe better management can make this place shine.

After hearing many good things of this barber shop I couldn’t wait to get a cut until I sit in Gali’s chair. I sit down and tell him to clean the sides up and give me a gentlemens cut since I begin my new job and he instantly cuts my sides down extremely short and gives me a faux hawk. If I ever return to this place I refuse to sit in his chair.

I have to say that Oscar and Jack’s barbershop is an amazing barbershop experience. It’s not hood nor is it too upscale you feel like your in a salon for men. The enviorment there makes it great because all the guys are cool and from the barbers who’ve cut my hair have given me great cuts. Always leave feeling confident and ready to take on life, especially go on a date or job interview bc the cuts are legit. There are only 2 cons about this shop and I wish they’d fix them.
1) The cuts /​shaves especially shape ups are OVERPRICED!!! a shape up is about 2 or 3 dollars less than an actual cut so your basically forced to get an actual hair cut which with your beard come out to 24.00!!! 17.00 for a hair cut and 7.00 for you beard (and i mean any beard related cut, not just for lumberjack birds.) Then if your a decent human being your going to tip your barber for the great job they did so call your experience 30.00!!! ABSURD-​REALLY… If they had the price adjusted from 12 – 15 for cuta and 3 – 5 for beards and the you ended up paying 25 it’d still be steep but way better. For those who like getting a weekly cut and can afford it go ahead but otherwise stay away and make it a biweekly ordeal. Senior cuts are no cheaper either! c’mon guys, quit being such bloodsuckers that your ripping off the elderly!
2) They don’t take appointmens which is odd considering most shops do. Basically every time you go you roll the dice of waiting a half hour-​hour and then a half hour for your cut which is normal, but still a 2 hour event.
All in all I’d say oscars is a 5 star shop but these 2 flaws make me rank it a 4.

Hands Down, one of the best barbershops. All the barbers are experienced and offer great service.
By Service, I mean this shop hooks the customer up with the mani-​pedi-​eyebrows-​massage custom deal. Its a luxury feeling fellas ! They even got a DJ time to time coming around to entertain the customers.
You’ll never go wrong coming in here, it’s worth the time and buck.

This isn’t just a barber shop… This is the Mecca of all Barber shops! I would say call it the MGM, but we all know Aria is so much flyer!
When you hear OJs, you know exactly what they’re talking of. I mean this place is just incredible to say the least. TVs, Massages, Nail parlor, eye brow threaders. and the list keeps going and going. They even sell Merch…
The guys working the shop have always been welcoming to all my friends and I. You’ll sit on one of their chairs and feel like you belong. Can never go wrong getting a great cut with a Hot Lather Shave. I’ve never left feeling unhappy. Screw that, I’ve never left looking less than on top on my appearance. I love coming out of here and having everyone ask me about my cut everywhere I go.
You know the saying come in a stranger, leave as Family, well that should be their motto.
And what I’m always impressed with is even if my barber is taken, everyone is trained to the same outstanding skill level.

Been Going to the same barber since I was a kid. The day before my wedding day I go to him and he takes about 5 minutes for my haircut and I come out looking like nothing happened. My barber sure picked the wrong day to not give a crap about my haircut.
Displeased with my current haircut I decided to find a new place. Not the best idea before your wedding day but I found OJ’s on Unilocal and decided to give them a shot. I told them my dilemma and after finishing up with them I am happy to say I have found my new barber. I believe his name was Ali and he made sure every hair on my head was perfectly cut. Will definitely be going back

This place is the spot to go for haircuts in long island. The barbers will fill any request you have and leave you looking so FRESH and so CLEAN. Not to mention that its a comedy show every time you walk in, but they just added a whole grooming department for men. You can get a manicure, pedicure, (stop frontin) waxing, eyebrows, and haircut all in the same place. Prices are more than reasonable too.
