Splinter’s

Had a significant job ($ 12k for roof/​windows) that I signed a contract with Bill Wark of Splinters. Bill spent a good amount of time with me working out the specific details of the job, and I proceeded to pay him ½ of the price as an initial deposit.
They came and did half of the job (roof) and then were a no show for the rest of the work. I left multiple voicemails with him with no responses. At one point, his wife answered the phone, and I asked when they would be to my house to complete the job. She spoke to Bill while I was on the phone and I was told later in the week. Well, it came to be later in the week and he was a no show. One more phone message and still no reply.
I would not pay Splinters any significant amount of money up front as they may take the money and not do the work.
Would NOT recommend Splinters or Bill Wark for a job.

I needed a dormer put up on my house. I researched a lot of different contractors and was referred Splinters info. They were very accommodating to my schedule and got the job done within the time frame requested, and also were very reasonably priced.

Dishonest do not trust him, kept our deposit, will not return calls
