Food is okay but the help… never had a worse experience in my life. After reading the other reviews, I have a feeling that the waiter who was SO terrible was the owner’s son. The guy had a scowl on his face from the moment he came over to wait on us. Every time we asked if we could have our water glasses refilled, he rolled his eyes. In fact any question or request we had for him seemed to make him irate. When I asked him for tea he said that I had to go up to the counter and pick it out. I lightheartedly said«Oh any decaf tea will do», he almost had a coronary and insisted that I go and pick it out. When I once again said«No really, just please bring me any decaf tea», he stomped off in a huff and returned with the whole basket of tea choices and said angrily, «I’n only bringing this over to you because we’re not that busy». When we were done he brought us(about 5 of us) the check. We said that we needed separate checks he was livid. In fact he wouldn’t do it for us and made another waitress do it. Unbelievable experience. Food was decent but we will never go back again.

Such a shame to give this place only 2 stars because it really is good. The juice is good, food is good, grab and go is good. The service however. Oh my gosh. No one knows whether they’re coming or going and it takes FOREVER to make a small juice because the employees either aren’t trained properly or don’t listen to the customer’s request. It’s annoying to go here but there’s no other place like it. Hope it gets better sooner than later because bad service will kill a place! I also am not sure if the foreign short haired woman is the owner or not, but she was extremely annoyed with another employee and was yelling in front of customers… yikes. Very uncomfortable!

Mixed feelings about this place. I had the tempeh vegetable stir fry. Pretty good, but wished it came with more vegetables. I also got a fruit smoothie with apple as the main ingredient(can’t remember the name haha) and it was decent. The food and drink in my experience were good. The lady who helped me was very friendly. I see this restaurant as having three unharmonious entities. There is a counter to order to-go food, which is the route I took. There are tables to sit down(where the one lady who was helping stopped to give seated patrons some menus.) There is also a boutique-like section which has food and some organic beauty products. Essentially, the two staff members I saw on the floor had to make the juices and smoothies; take phone in and counter take– out orders and place them; hand out menus, explain specials to seated diners, and take and place their orders; be cashiers for to-go-food patrons and people who want food merchandise. That’s way too much for two people to handle and they did get backed up, and I waited more than I should have for my food. Basically, if you’re not waiting, someone else has to be waiting according to the business model. Slow service will be inevitable at this place unless they have more staff on the floor.

This place is slowwwww, I have been there a few times since they opened in the last two months which is plenty of time for them to get their act together and figure out the Huntington community especially considering this is their second location. Their food is great, there smoothies & juices not so much and don’t even get me started on the guy behind the counter, he’s seems to be very knowledgeable but also very Condescending. I wish them all the luck for I will not be returning.

The food is amazing — everything else is not. Their business plan is awful. They need to decide if they are grab and go or a restaurant. There is no reason to have 5 people working and one of them trying to be a waitress. You should go to the counter, order and they should give you a number/ask for your name. Then you go sit at a table and wait for your number/name to be called. I don’t need a waitress, who gets my order wrong half of the time, to come help me when I could do the exact same thing at the counter. Then once you finally order, the wait is at least a half an hour — no matter how many people are in there. There is never any organization at the counter. They need a better system. They really need to figure out what their goal is because the food is amazing, it’s just so annoying to actually go there.

Huntington needed this place! Healthy, organic foods and juices– YAY! My only gripe is they really need to get their act together behind the counter. You can tell everyone that works there is new and slow and unsure of the menu, or hours(I asked). It does take a really long time for an order but considering they just opened Im willing to cut them some slack. Also on the two occasions I got the same juice, it tasted totally different from the time before and that is annoying. Im hoping they get into their groove and get a bit more organized behind the counter, otherwise I am so glad they opened.

The achilles heel of this place: the owner’s son. Utterly obnoxious! I walked in and saw a bunch of fire cider samples on the counter. I asked if it was hot, as I saw on the ingredients list that it contained habanero pepper and horseradish. He told me no. I drank it, and it felt like fire blazed down my esophagus. It made my ears ring it was so hot!!! I said that he should have told me it was so hot, and he got defensive–«No one else complains», he said curtly, and continued to be defensive. As I walked away, I heard him mutter the B word! Wow, not a good way to start a brand new business! I’m never going back again.
