I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years for lessons. Eric Clapton should be far from worried about me as competition, but I’m still getting a good musical education here. I’m learning about theory, which is confusing and frustrating, but better than other places who just teach you songs and memorizing scales.
I have bought two guitars here and the prices are more than reasonable. Plus if it breaks, they know how to fix it. This past weekend I learned how to change the strings by myself, which considering that I’m a spaz, was an accomplishment. They carry the Fender family of guitars, which includes Fender, Jackson, Guild and Gretsch.
It’s a little hidden in a small shopping center, but once you find it, it stands out.

No one wants to walk into a music shop and be treated like an idiot for not being an expert. No one wants to feel taken advantage of, or fear being ripped off. The guys at Briggs get this! They are friendly and helpful and genuinely put your interests first. Briggs is the egoless guitar shop. On top of that they are humble masters of their trade. I no longer trust my guitars to anyone else, and look forward to buying many more from them!
