Day’s Inn

This is not a Day Inn any longer. It is a run down independent establishment named the Huntington Inn with absolutely terrible customer service.
First day room not made up. That night commode wax ring leaked profusely and sewer gas permeated room. Manager offered another room but no assistance in relocating. Toilet in the next room overflowed. We made do for the night as it was late. Next morning manager implied we may have been cause of the problems they had never experienced. They stated that since we did not like the room (imagine that) they had no other room and that we should get another hotel. Staying within their business style I was advise to go down the road to find another hotel. I asked them to locate one for me but they stated they don’t do that.
Overall this was a very unpleasant experience. Both rooms reeked of musty smell. On the plus side management provided some Glade air fresher.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I rank this establishment very very low — a 1 and I am being kind with that rating
