I can not believe how this place has such bad reviews, it’s literally one of the most gorgeouse places I have ever been to. On a warm sunny day you can jump cliffs from 5,10 and around 25 feet. The waterfall is amazing and the«jacuzzi room» is so unique! I’ve spent many many amazing experiences here, you just need to be cautiouse and respectful. I only swim in the lower buckets, as the upper buckets the water is way to powerful and(of course) dangerous… But it’s still a beautiful hike!!. It’s such an exhilarating experience being here I highly recommend it! The environment brings a fair bit of teenage/young 20’s kids having a couple beers and smoking some herb but from my experience, everyone is pretty respectful. Just take what you brought back with you and enjoy Vermont at its finest!

this place is great in the summertime to swim and cliff jump. there are many spots on the river to explore. the jacuzzi is my favorite. i had many happy experiences there. dont be scared that like over 100 people have died here. just dont swim up where the warning signs are. they will say dont swim. dont swim. unless you want to die…

Huntington Gorge is a pure creation by God. Its a pure marvel. A beautiful river cut out a gorge out of pure solid bedrock and made stunning waterfalls. The rocks have swirling whirlpools which are very alluring yet very dangerous. People swim here and have risked their lives. Many have died in the strong current. I think the count is up to over 20 lives since the 1960’s. Their is a sign posted warning people not to swim. Other issues have poped up over the years. The property was sold and parking along the river is difficult and the town does ticket. People are still drawn here for the beauty and underlying danger.
