I appreciate you getting back to me and your manager did reach out to me and she was very nice. Your account what happened on 5⁄26 and 5⁄27 is not accurate. I was not told that my items were placed in the wrong bin, I was told that the machine to clean the shirts was broken and they knew several hours before I came to pick up my clothes. A middle aged woman with black hair working there immediately gave me an attitude when I asked her why she didn’t call me to tell me my shirts wouldn’t be ready. You only mentioned 2 times where my shirts weren’t ready on time but this happened at least 5 times. That combined with the lady giving me an attitude and talking back to me is why I won’t be returning to your store despite you offering to clean 5 shirts for free. Interesting that keeping my business is worth a whopping $ 7.50 to you

I used this place about 6 times over the course of 4 months for interviews. i always had good service, good clean pressed suit and clothes and no real complaints. not sure what the negative press is about. prices ar ea little high but for me not a big deal as i dont use dry cleaning tha tmuch

I’ve been using this cleaners(reluctantly) for at least 5 years. Truthfully, the only reason why I would go to them is because all the other cleaners in town don’t have their own parking lot and it was just more convenient. I will never go back to Jim Dandy if I have to walk a mile, uphill and barefoot in the snow. The people that are running the place CLEARLY have zero ownership in the company and have absolutely no customer service skills or training. They seem to think every time you drop off your clothes that they are doing you a favor by servicing you. Today I was pushed over the edge, never to return. I am not a person to write bad reviews often. As a matter of a fact, this is the only review I have ever written. In response to the owner comment. It wasn’t the fact that it couldn’t be done. It was the way I was spoken to and the way it was handled. I’m glad you think your employees are great, but look up how long I have used your cleaners and to be honest, never really cared for any of the people working for you. They always make you feel like they are doing you a favor. A piece of advice, don’t ever make the customer wrong and defend your team. Stick to the apology. When you try to make excuses, it totally discounts the apology.

Besides the customer service being bad, the actual service on your clothes is worse. They were always putting creases in the pants. One time when I went back to pick up the pants that they had to redo, they tried to charge me for the pants again. The last straw was when they completely destroyed one of my husbands shirts. It was ripped in 2 different spots and was clearly shrunk. They tried to blame the age of the shirt. The shirt was a year and a half old.

Probably the best dry cleaners in the area. They take extra care to listen and document how I like my dry cleaning. I recently got some custom shirts and they were poorly made, I brought them to the tailor, Tony, and he saved them for me. Although it seems likes some employees come and go the same manager and other employees have been there for years. The owner is always there and happy to talk to me whenever I come in. Overall, a great place with its own parking.

It was upsetting to see the Raul Z review for Jim Dandy so I decided to give them the 5 stars they deserve. My clothes come back great, I never have to wait, and their prices are better than other cleaners in Huntington. I work in Retail as well and it’s just amazing to me how crazy people can get over something so insignificant like Raul did. So please take his review with a very large grain of salt and listen to happy customers because the bad news always spreads faster than the good news.

I’ve been going to this place for years and two things have happened… 1. The quality of the cleaning is not as good… my shirt necks and cuffs are coming back dirty and, 2. Service quality has gone down. There is one person behind the counter who talks loudly about people and another one who has attended me and has not been friendly at all. The last time I was there she treated me like I’m a child. I ended up calling for the manager and even though he apologized for her, he didn’t do much to recover. I took my clothes and left. I’ve not been back there since. Decide for yourselves… time to move on to another location.

Excellent cleaners which are prompt, professional, and very high quality. Their no additional fee same day service(as long as you drop off before 1pm) has been a great plus although even if you drop an item off after 1, they still will have it ready in many cases early the next morning or in the afternoon.
