May’s Gourmet Delicatessan

Everyone at May’s is lovely! Food is great. They make an amazing green apple pie, great for anytime, but perfect for the holidays. Also, a bonus, they serve breakfast later than any other place I know of.

This place is affordable, clean, and fast. I only wished they didn’t close so early. They make simple sandwiches taste good. Their ‘all american burger’ comes with fries and coleslaw all under 11 $. I love getting the sides they have in the cooler. They also have parking, most of the time there are no cars parked!

Most reasonably priced, clean, fast and hassle free deli ive been to. Got several items including $ 6.99 4 egg omelette ! Amazingg

The best Deli and sandwich shop in Huntington. Definitely try the Latin fire sandwich and the pasta salads. Andrea is legit from Italy and knows what he is doing in the kitchen. And don’t forget to try the lasagna and if you’re there for breakfast the bacon egg and cheese.

The only issue I have with them is sometimes not receiving exactly what I order. I ask for calamari, I get old jumbo shrimp. I ask for clam strips, I get calamari… minus the coleslaw. Triple Decker Club and The Woodsman Hero are the bomb and the delivery driver is very friendly.

I ordered some lunch from grubhub. A deli that delivers? Cool! I ordered the manhattan, with a side of brown gravy. A «grilled» roast beef, mozz, on toasted garlic bread. Food comes, no brown gravy (which is not only a true deli staple, but is a classic compliment to that sandwich. They did not call to inform me that they did not have the gravy, just went ahead and sent some bbq sauce. I WOULD HAVE GLADLY ORDERED SOMETHING ELSE, IF THEY IN FORMED ME THEY COULD NOT PROPERLY FULFILL MY ORDER. What poor business. To their credit, they did offer a credit for the sandwich (however did not offer to send something else over in lieu of their botched attempt at service.) Additionally, the onion rings were of the frozen variety from your grocer’s freezer. Oh, and the bread was toasted on the sandwich, but the roast beef/​mozz was clearly microwaved. Second rate practices, and staff that is not concerned with order accuracy. Zero stars for food quality, accuracy of order. One half star for food arriving in under 45 minutes, and another half of a star for the half of a decent attempt to not quite correct the situation once an error was made. Needless to say, I will not be ordering here again… I don’t enjoy eating anything from a microwave that doesn’t have Orville Reddenbacher’s name on it.

ordered multiple times but one delivery man I got the past two times never brings change forcing me to give him ridiculously expensive tips! I feel as if im being cheated. I even put in a special message on my order to bring change of a $ 20 this time and when I told him I specified it all he had to respond was «your killing me». Would give may’s a 5 star because the food is great and comes fast … But the delivery man sucks!

Fast pace, clean store, friendly staff. Happily made corrections on a breakrast sandwich. Fresh fruit cut ready to go. Not a wait though good sized morning crowd coming and going.
