We pulled up and it looked a little scary like some of those second rate eateries that are around but the food was top of the line all the way. My girlfriend ordered the cowboy dog and I got a cowboy dog, a Mac and cheese dog, and a slaw dog. My brother got a plain dog combo. The cowboy dog was just as good as the cashier made it sound. The tortilla was flakey like a crescent roll while the chili and cheese sauce was delicious. It was messy but oh so worth it. Make sure you grab plenty of napkins before hand. The Mac and cheese dog intrigued me and exceeded every expectation I had. The Mac and cheese was good and the bacon was cooked nicely and the dog was great. The slaw dog was a little bit of surprise. I wasn’t expecting the chili sauce but it worked well with the slaw, which was great. Overall you can’t go wrong with any of the choices I had and I’m sure the others are just as good.

Just got the Cowboy Dawg(all beef hot dog wrapped in bacon and a flour tortilla, then deep fried to perfection, then drenched in chili and nacho cheese) and the Junkyard Dawg(all beef hot dog with diced onions, chili, nacho cheese, bacon, ranch, and french fries). All I could say during the meal was yum. Definitely coming back and definitely recommending it to anyone and everyone. I don’t care if you live in Indianapolis, IN. It’s only an hour or two away from you. Get up here and get a dawg. They’re that good. Just got the Boston Dawg(all beef hot dog with baked beans, mustard, and onions) and the Mac n Cheese Dawg(all beef hot dog with Mac n cheese and bacon on it). The Boston Dawg isn’t bad, but the baked beans could be better. The Mac n Cheese Dawg was great. Not sure what I’ll get next time, but one thing is for sure. There’s no way I’ll be disappointed if all the dawgs are as good as the ones I’ve already had.

They have any kind of hot dog I could imagine, but on my first visit I had a couple of good old coney dogs, and for a little extra, I had them add cole slaw on them. I think all of their dogs are all-beef, and mine were hot and delicious, although not very big around, in my opinion.(If they were bigger, I would give them all five stars.) The french fries were hot, done, and golden brown… and hot. Their fountain soft drinks are Coke products, my favorite. The service was friendly and courteous, and they know how to say, «thank you». They have a drive-through, but if you’re the sit-down type, the dining room is neat and clean. I go to Huntington often, and am glad to add this newer hot dog stand to my favorite food stops. I’d recommend giving them a try.
