Smoky’s BBQ

Won’t be back! Terrible customer service. Unable to place carry-​out order because Huntington location couldn’t be reached by phone by the person taking the orders who was at Marion location. We were driving there from Fort Wayne hoping to grab carry-​out on our to my parents, we had to place order at restaurant for carry out and it took another 30 or so minutes to complete our order.
Their ‘debit card lady’ was on break when we went to pay for our food… thankfully we had some cash on us so we could pay. We also had to drive to the nearby library to print off our living social coupon because they wouldn’t take the one off of my phone.
Just one inconvenience after another. Won’t be back. Oh and the food wasn’t that good: (

I took advantage of a Living Social coupon and took my family to Smoky’s early on a Saturday evening. All I can is that it wouldn’t have mattered how good the food was… the inside of the restaurant smelled SO bad. Pull some hair from your head, burn it in a candle and you have the smell. I’m sure it was the previous establishment that did it, but it doesn’t matter; it was gross. The food was pretty good. I had a Texas burrito which was a burrito full of pulled pork, along with some baked beans and cole slaw inside. It was covered with good enough sauce, but did I mention the smell of the place? My son had tender beef brisket; my daughter had pulled pork; my wife had it Memphis style. The little kids split $ 2.99 kids meals, but the smell… did I mention it?
