Stopped in this place today on my way to get lunch.
I’m a sucker for a good beer distibuter and I’ll stop any chance I have to see what micro or craft beers are being stocked.
I was probably in this place for 5mins before I was greeted by the manager. Guy was super friendly and very chill. No attitude, no beer snob vibe, very cool.
Picked out a nice IPA from South Hampton brewery.
During check out guy gave me his business card, and asked me «to call if I wanted to order something we don’t have, or check if something was in stock»

Supaaastaaaa (Molly Shannon anyone?) Anywho, Superstar has a great selection of brews and lots of promo’s, so you can taste what’s new before dropping $ 10 on a pint that tastes like pine tar (check their website for the schedule). There are plenty of workers around to help you with any questions you have or to help bring large orders to your car. Last time I went, I walked out with a growler of Brooklyn Gold (they have 6 rotating brews on tap that you can take home in growlers) and drank no less than 4 cups of Brooklyn Local 1 and 2 (there was a tasting that day). Free. Beer. Awesome. The only reason there isn’t a 5^th star is bc Superstar has your typical ‘warehouse’ feel to it and I have seen some bomb beverage centers with a larger selection and with nicer interiors. All in all, I think this is def one of the best beer stores in the area if your a craft nut like myself, you should stop by to see what’s new on a regular basis.
